Their phone service is great, that's what lured me. That's hell of a bonus for me cus greeting and welcoming is everything! The place is small but the outside patio hits. No alcohol but you can order a michi mix if you catch my drift. Seems like it's more of a to-go spot but im not a neighbor and enjoy my time eating it there and fresh! I usually order ahead personally because i like my seafood cold and they store it in the fridge to keep it cold once it's done. My go-to is the Matacrudas. I sub the octopus for crab meat 'jaiba.' I've tried most of their sauces, traditional, aguachiles, negra, and just tried the mango habanero. I love how they have a scale for spice preference. I get medium which is just the right amount of spice for me. Their michi mix is reeeallyy good since they have all the ingredients there! Def not a 'bloody mary' mix that some consider a michi. Customer service is great! They are always happy to see you again. I love family owned places! You can tell they appreciate your visit and your business. The food tastes really good and fresh! The portion is more than a great amount. It's basically a botana and you always have extra to take home if you tap out early. Parking lot is really small but i always find a spot or on the street. Please guys, go check them out! I fucks wit them heavy. Everyone on instagram is always commenting or bringing it up in person of how it always looks good.

Parking was plentiful in the lot behind the restaurant. Many of the spaces were marked for the school next door, but since we were there after school hours, parking wasn't an issue. The restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived, but there were still tables and bar seating available. It's not a very large space, but it never felt cramped. The overall vibe was cool and relaxed. The staff was friendly and attentive, and our server Kayla was great throughout the evening. We started with a Young Fashioned and Sentinela Sour, then shared the House Salad, which was easily one of the surprises of the night. It was so good we actually considered ordering another one to take home! For our entrées, we had the Garlic Noodles with Jerk Braised Short Rib, which was excellent. We had leftovers and were more than happy to bring those home. I also ordered the This Is, A Tasty Burger with fries. With a name like that, I had pretty high expectations, but unfortunately the burger was just okay. We finished by sharing the Sweet Potato Pie. It wasn't bad, but next time I'd probably explore one of the other dessert options. Overall, we enjoyed the experience. Great service, interesting drinks, some standout dishes, and a cool atmosphere. There are still plenty of things on the menu we want to try, so we'll definitely be back.

The tuna & uni tostada was the standout. The tuna had the perfect balance of acidity, and the uni on top added just the right amount of richness. The octopus was so tender with no chewiness, it was cooked perfectly. We also tried the aguachile, which was really good, but the tuna dishes stood out to me so much more. We got a chance to sit at the bar so it was perfect timing. We got a few tacos, the shrimp, ceviche and the guacamole and the tar tar. The shrimp was super flavorful and was probably the best. Everyone talks about the octopus I think that was my least favorite one. Everything was really fresh and the service was great! My mom introduced me to this place when I was a kid, and they've remodeled the joint since then. They serve a bunch of stuff like pizza, pasta, ice cream, and churros. It's a cool spot to hang out. So, here's the deal with the food. The Alfredo pasta with chicken is decent, but they could go a bit easier on the pasta and add more sauce. Now, when it comes to pizza, that's where they really shine. The crust is fluffy and the sauce isn't too much. They don't skimp on cheese. They offer different sizes, including a supreme option. Waiting time? Around 10 minutes or so, not bad at all. Bottom line, it's got some nostalgic feels for me, and their pizza is definitely worth a go. Relaxed vibes and a mix of tasty bites, all in one spot read more
