The Adventure Zone - Cafe, seating area, & private Birthday party area

It's certainly not a big play area, but our son liked it and the staff at the entrance were nice…read more For in and out privileges the whole day, and for only around $11.50, it's not a bad price to play on their jungle gym. If you have a young kid who is bored doing all the typical sightseeing stuff, this was a good break for him and he easily spent an hour, and possibly an hour and a half, and he still didn't want to leave. It's not any place you need to go out of your way to visit, but if you're in the area and your young kid just needs a break from all the "boring" adult stuff, this is a good place to take them so they can let off some steam. Also, the whole Kids Market building is well done as well.

Our family visited The Adventure Zone for a birthday party and had a blast…read more The birthday room is a good size and can comfortably seat about 30 people. It's clean and the staff helps with you all the decorating. You're allowed to bring in outside food as well as buy food from the place. There isn't much selection for food here except for popcorn and pizza. Outside the party room, you and your kids can have access to the arcade and loonie/toonie rides. Quite a few machines were out of order, but we were able to find some to play. On the side, you can redeem your tickets for prizes. Downstairs, the kids can enter the climbing structures and ball pit.

They had tons of variations of fish, birds, turtles, SLOTHS, some monkeys, jellyfish, sea lions, penguins, otters, AND MORE!! They also have the wet lab where staff provide educational information while you can pet some sea creatures. The aquarium is a great size to keep you/the family busy for a few hours. It is well kept and clean. Prices range around $40-$50ish for general admission depending on the day you're looking to go. Parking is easy as they have a large lot in the back with metered parking. If you're an animal or aquarium lover, don't pass on the Vancouver Aquarium!

Hands down the best aquarium I've ever been to! First off, there's so much to look at!! Second, I…read moredon't think I've ever been to an aquarium where all the walking made my legs sore before I even got back to our airbnb! That's really saying something (although I'm not very active to begin with but not that out shape) EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING was so cool! I felt like a kid again. We got to see a little bit of the otter feedings although we were in the way back so I could barely see their little toes but we also got to see the sea lion feeding and THAT was such a delight! They know how wave their hands and I forget but they were super fun to watch! I really appreciated they had a lot more to see outside of a glass wall~ and finding the sloth?? So much fun! The bright pink birds that were NOT flamingos? Fabulous. I loved it all! P.S. I'm not around here so this was such a surprise of a visit coming from Seattle
