I rode on The Stanley Park Ghost Train for "Jack O'Lantern's Journey Through The Dark Forest". It was okay. The story and acting was fun to watch. I was amazed by some of the effects and props. My interest had died down a tad bit near the end of the ride and I was truly hoping for more to see. But again, this event is targetted towards children and it's already impressive if I were in the perspective of a child. The maze in the area was also fun because of how challenging it was. I wish however that there were more food vendors despite how tiny the area is! Perhaps expand the venue?

A self guided tour... and many areas to explore.. I have this thing with wanting to see the monkeys.. ( had so much fun in Japan).. First stop was the Amazon area-.. it gets busy so we stopped there first-.. Got to see the small monkey- so cute playing.. The dolphins, jellyfish, all had wonderful displays.. Picked up a few souvenirs to take back..

I loved the outdoor areas- watching the little seals and otters was so cute. They had otter soccer at one point but it was WAY too crowded to see. I did get to view other otters from a different angle and they were so happy and silly. It made me smile. Loved the frogs and that you can see different exhibits in a multi-level way. The rainforest area was also really cool. Saturday in May was BUSY!!!! Frequently super crowded areas, felt a little trapped at times. I tried to stay outside and on lower levels for better viewing. Even with timed entry it was still pretty hectic. Would love to return on a quieter day. Wasn't super impressed with the food options, but I also don't see why you would need to stay long enough to eat here- go back into the city!

Everyone in the party gets the local discounts, too! It's been a while for me to do the Fly Over, and I must say it doesn't disappoint. Our family from out of town was so tired from walking around the city, and when we did the ride, they were WIDE awake. They truly enjoyed it and thought it was very well done. As for me, someone who has done it a few times before, I was still amazed by the quality of the ride. Definitely a MUST!

Customer service was great - the smiles and courtesy seemed genuine. We were herded into a cramped space for a 10-minute "show" about Iceland. Initially I thought that was it - which would have been a bummer. Instead, we were then shuffled into a lineup for the flyover space. The attendants, smiling and courteous as ever, politely exhorted us into checking our seat belt buckles numerous times, which was slightly unnerving. Sure enough, once the real show began and the floor dropped away below our feet, I understood why they were so thorough. We took off and seemingly dipped and swirled through the skies over Iceland - it was quite lovely and spectacular, and realistic to the point where I eventually felt nauseated. Was it worth it? Yes. Would I do it again? Sure would. But next time I'll remember to take a ginger pill first:)
