He did a great job on the sectional, but the carpets were just as stained after he left as when he got there. Although we did have slime stuck in the carpet, there was no way to get that out, and I realize that. BUT...I was the one who got the regular stains out of the carpeting when he had finished. After speaking with a couple of people, I realized that we were overcharged for work (or lack of) that was done. After inspecting my carpets, Aziz addressed that I had deeply neglected my carpets since this is the first time I had had any professional cleaning done on the carpets since putting them in. In fairness, I did deserve the (light) scolding. Aziz provided an estimated cost that was higher than what we discussed in our messages; however, it was reasonable given the severity of the carpet's condition. Aziz and another team member started on the cleaning; they were quick and thorough but provided high-quality results. Aziz had me inspect the carpets after the cleaning was done, and I was extremely satisfied with the results. *Aziz cleaned my area rug free of charge after I had asked to exclude it, which was an unexpected and greatly appreciated gesture. So, so kind! Aziz gave me pointers on the proper way to spot clean and said to have the carpets professionally deep cleaned yearly to maintain the carpet's quality and healthy home environment. We called to setup an appointment and they were able to come about 3 days later. During the call, we asked some questions about their normal services, confirming what they do, and everything sounded right. Some of the super cheap places out there (often on coupon sites) make everything an upsell once they get in your door, while some big names charge really high prices, so it was nice to find B&V was an honest company with fair prices. We got most of the simple furniture out of the way, and off they went. They even went over a couple high traffic areas twice, focusing on providing results and good service. They had a few dozen squares for furniture to sit on while the carpet dried, and the carpet was about as dry as any other service we have tried before...not too damp, but out carpet just seems to suck up and hold water regardless. Overall excellent service, a fair price, arrived just a little earlier than our appointment time, and did a great job. I'm not one to throw around 5 star reviews frivolously, but I have nothing to ding them on either so here it is...a 5-star review for B&V. Thanks!
