Purchased from the Phoenix location and had a great experience. We chose our design and added the extras of my choice (happy wife, happy life!). The Tuff Shed team was easy to work with and our installation was timely. We originally needed the shed to house our pet rabbits but ended up using it for storage (the buns live in the house now). We had an electrician set up our electrical and then added a/c to make it temperature controlled. It has been two weeks since the Tuff Shed building was installed on site. After visiting the store location last week. I was able to talk to a representative to get an update on the status of my building. Followed up by a phone call with tuff shed, they scheduled a site walk for this afternoon. I was met by one of their managers, he was very receptive and understood my concerns that I had about the workmanship. He was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. They are now scheduled for the following week to correct my concerns and address the issues. Worked with Neil at Tuff Shed Phoenix. He came out to the property and we discussed shed types. He offered up some color options that would work with our house and property. He researched easements to make sure we didn't build above a utility. The builders were excellent and did quality work. It took a whole day and they were finished. No issues with the install. Ordered a $5,000 shed 2 months ago and between the time of purchase and install we moved. I called Tuff Shed a minimum of 8 times to provide new address. No one ever answers the phone so you have to leave a voicemail. Left messages for Tatianna (scheduler) every time and never received a single phone call back. When they called with delivery date, we provided new address. 2 days prior to delivery I called to make sure new address was on file. Same thing, only voice mail and no return phone calls. Day of delivery we get a phone call from the people at our old address. Installers arrived to install shed at old address and were unloading. We went to old address and had to bring installers to new address. Called Tuff Shed to let them know of this and once again only voice mail. The customer service is 0 with this company. Once they have your money they refuse to communicate with you. I do not recommend them and would go to a different company in the future. Don't waste your money with this company. read more

Crew left a shed with a huge hole in the roof and poor fitting roof panels on the rest of the roof. No communication from Tuff Shed. After numerous calls and not being able to get thru to Tuff Shed, I called Home Depot. HD put me in contact with someone at Tuff Shed. Thy scheduled to come out on a Monday. I took time off work only to have them cancel at about 1:00pm. Again, no contact from Tuff Shed. I emailed the corporate office and received a call. I was promised the shed would be completed. I have my doubts given my prior experience with Tuff Shed. I thought this would save time and $$. I ordered on October 6, 2021 and it is now January 10, 2022. It has been sitting for a month with a huge hole in the roof. I could have completed a shed by now. I asked they come pick up partially completed shed and provide a refund. Tuff Shed refuses to just collect the shed and provide a refund. Don't expect much communication from Tuff Shed if they leave without completing the shed. This experience has been like getting my teeth pulled.   Ordered and paid $3,763.42 for a Tuff Shed on 4/1/2021, most recent email is telling me my install date is now 12/9/2021.  Yes, that is 8 months for an 8ft x 10ft shed whereby I already build the foundation myself.  The initial install date was set for 5/27/2021 via email, then cancelled without explanation.  After many many emails and frustrating phone calls, I finally got a call back and a new install date for Wednesday, 6/23/2021, more than 3 months from date of purchase.   Okay, COVID slowed some stuff.  I get it.  I can wait.  No worries, I guess. Right?  Wrong.  I should have worried.   The shed was delivered on 6/23/2021 to the wrong address in the wrong state.  Job site is WA state.  They delivered to my billing address in AZ.  There was no email or phone call to confirm the job site.  I had, however, called them twice to confirm the job site, but had to leave a message both times because there was nobody to take the call.     Hey Tuff Shed, maybe consider it a crucial step for your company to confirm the job site in the future before building and delivering a building.   Or at least confirm what state the job site is in. If that is not bad enough, it took many, many more emails and many, many, many more phone calls just to find out what was happening with my shed, let alone get a new install date.  I was eventually able to speak momentarily with the Northwest Tuff Shed representative Dewayne Campbell.  But he blew me off and gave me yet another useless phone number to call.  Thanks Dewayne.   So finally I hear back yesterday via email on 7/26/2021 which finally lead to this time-consuming review.  And, are you ready for this?  I have cut and pasted it from the email: "Your building is scheduled to be installed on Thursday, December 9th." Is that not hilarious?  I myself had to laugh at it.   Still not one single phone call from anyone.  Instead, when I call them I get a lot of attitude.  After all, I am to blame for having actually bought a shed. And each time I call, I get another Dewayne Campbell-type person who shuffles me off to another rep, often in another state.  I finally thought I was getting somewhere when I was told I'd get a call from the General Manager at the build site in Tukwila WA. Surely the GM would get things back on track, right? Wrong.  That was about 2 weeks ago, I've not heard snot from boo. Instead, just a generic email with the ridiculous December install date.   What an atrocious company; shattered customer service without any centralized structure and no recourse whatsoever for escalated issues.  I even tried calling the corporate office in CO, but the phone tree in Denver just cycled me back out, this time to some random person in Portland OR for some unkown reason.   All the while, I keep referring back to the Tuff Shed promise in writing that I got from the start: "... keeping sight of our goal of creating customers who are Extremely Satisfied with Tuff Shed products and services."  Several emails have expressed this same notion of "extreme satisfaction." Guess what? I am not extremely staisfied. I am not even a little bit satisfied.  Rather, quite the opposite.  I am 100% unsatisfied. I am done being frustrated and angry.  At this point I can only laugh at this joke of a company.  Albeit, $3,763.42 is a pretty expensive joke.  Hopefully I can get my money back.   Stay away.  Stay far far away from this company. read more

I placed an order on February 24th and it was built the following week on March 2nd. Everything leading up to that was great. They were responsive, helpful and answered all of my questions. Everything since the build date has been incredibly frustrating. I contacted several people at Tuff shed now and either didn't get a response or the response was incredibly delayed and they didn't even answer the questions or address the issues. I did not get the floor track vents that I paid for, the builders left nails on the roof, nails strewn around my yard, and even two used razor blades were left in my yard. Thats incredibly concerning given we have dogs. The door to the shed was also not plumb so it wouldn't close properly. Lastly none of the joints on the outside were caulked and the door itself rattled because they drilled the hole too big for the pin to fit in. On top of that they got paint all over the windows on my shed, and it looked terrible. This was shocking to me given I paid $13k for this shed. I've reached out numerous times with a text and I either don't get a response or the response takes several days. I was told that I would get a call from the gentleman that does the warranty work out of Phoenix and finally did but it took a week and a half. There were also sections of the trim that they just missed entirely when painting. Lastly, they didn't give me the tuff shed sign with the serial number on it that is required for the warranty. I fixed all the paint issues myself and picked up all of the nails and razor blades in my yard for obvious reasons. They finally came out to fix the other issues after two weeks but it was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had with a company. They never reached out again after the fix was complete and just charged my card for the final payment without any offer to make things right. I guess leaving razor blades in someone's yard is status quo for tuff shed. I know they will tell me to contact ccare@tuffshed.com so they can resolve these issues, but I already have. That's how I got the fixes to finally be complete and sent them three additional emails without a response. While the quality of the shed is nice, would recommend looking elsewhere given the insane hurdles you have to jump through to get the shed you paid for without garbage and dangerous materials left at the build site and a partially finished and sloppily put together shed. read more

Purchased the shed early Dec 2023 from Peoria Store and requested an install three weeks later. Great Sales experience thanks to Kent Money. Good Installation experience as the crew they sent worked every hard to make things correct. One thing to beware of is the quality of the workmanship from the factory built. Tuff Shed builds most of the shed in their factory to be installed later on site. Buyer beware for my building, the quality was not number one. Tuff Shed will have you sign a document at the time of purchase explaining that there may be cosmetic imperfections and what to expect on the final product. It appears that this document is used as a coverall excuse for sub-standard workmanship from the factory build and substandard materials. For example, when the shed arrived on site, the install crew had been given damage and substandard Roof rafters. Some of the rafters had so many knot holes and damaged edges that even my wife could tell that they were not good for holding up a roof. She complained to the crew who to their credit, had new ones delivered right away. Another area we looked was the construction of the walls, where they had installed support studs that were cut too short, and you could see more than an inch of nail space, where the support stud was supposed to be. Once again, the install crew came through and nailed a new stud next to the short one to fix the problem. There were a number of other problems from the factory including badly damaged siding in a number of places, including the front siding upper left, the left bottom siding that not only had a jagged tear, but had a hole visible to the inside, other siding issues, including 2x4 framing cut incorrectly. All of which was covered up using trim boards or other materials. Have ever seen what happen to pressed siding where the edge is damaged and water / moisture gets into it? It swells and comes apart. Now if they had taken the time to seal or at least paint the damaged siding before covering it up I would not have a problem. In this case they just place a trim board over it and walked away. So much for a high-quality product. I must say looking at the shed from the outside, it looks very good. But it gives me the shivers knowing all the problems that lie under the pretty looks. Something to beware of, they had me send pictures via text, which I did per their request. After I did I got a number of text messages telling my basically that I did not have a problem, rather than calling me to discuss them. When I asked why they would not call me to discuss the issues, I was told that they were just responding to the text I started. I found it both callous and insulting that they would not pick up the phone and talk with me and instead, use text messaging to "blow me off" and send me excuses. After I complained, Tuff Shed called and left me a message that that would be sending a Quality Manager out to look at the shed sometime in the first part of January. We have already provided pictures, so hopefully this visit is to confirm the problems and not to just brush them off. I don't know why, they are sending the Quality Manager now, because all the work is done and the crew was able to cover most of the problems up and made the shed look beautiful. Ordered a Tuff shed 1/2021. It was delivered and built in the spring, but they couldn't put the second coat of paint on it due to rain. I have made at least 100 calls since then. Twice they were scheduled to come out and finish the job. Once they didn't show up at all and the second time it was raining again. For the last 2 months they haven't returned my phone calls. Tuff Shed Is a joke! I ordered a 10x10 shed at the end of January 2019 from the TUFFSHED WEBSITE !!! It's in all caps for a reason, you will see why in a minute. The website was kinda glitchy from when I had used it previous, when I called they told me it was going through an "upgrade". But I managed to get the shed ordered. Initially I called because there wasn't an option for a cut out for the air conditioner I was planning on installing so the girl told be just to put the dementions in the notes, due to the website "upgrade". The initial everything was great, good communication, nice people, the whole thing. I was out of town when they wanted to set the build for my shed. When I got home excited to see my shed I first noticed all the paint that was all over my driveway...followed by nails in the backyard... and then to the shed... There were suppose to be two vents installed along with the cutout for the air conditioner. Which upon looking at the cutout was not correct, it was super small and was thrown together with broken scrap pieces. The vent holes were cut but no vents... just left open for the rain to pour in while I was gone. Nails were sticking out EVERYWHERE in the whole shed. (Not how it looks on display) I called Tuffshed that day and they apologized and said someone would be out next week to fix it. Next week came... and went.. no show Tuffshed and no call to say hey we need to reschedule. So I called again. This time rather upset. Talked to Tony after he was finished on his hour long phone call. He again apologized and said he would have someone out the first thing Monday. They did come that day while I was at work so when I got back and inspected the work it was fine, just fine. Nothing special, just hacked a bigger hole for the cutout and screwed some incredibly long screws through the wall to attach the vents. They also sanded the paint off the driveway. It was just "fine" So, when I ordered my shed through the TUFFSHED WEBSITE my pricing was cheaper than what I had originally looked at in the past. Which is why I decided to purchase right then. $2200 ish is what my order and confirmation email said. But my credit card showed a charge of $2700 ish. Half a dozen calls and more than a dozen emails back and forth to Gerry and Tony and Tuffshed refuses to refund the over charge. They said the cost they billed me is right, there was a glitch in the website with their "upgrade" so I should just be ok with it. $459 ish difference!! I mean, who needs an extra $500. Not my fault you decided to run a live website without texting for bugs. They keep saying they will have a Home Depot rep call me, we'll Home Depot didn't have anything to do with TuffShed screwing up their website. So that's not going to get me anywhere. Again emailed Gerry today and again was told Home Depot will follow up. Well they must be very busy because it's been two weeks since he told me that the last time. So today I filed fraud overcharge with my credit card company. This has gone on for more than two months and no one will accept responsibility. So if you buy I shed, be aware... do not trust the builders to do it right... it will not look like the displays... file a dispute immediately if you are charged incorrectly because no one will do anything about it. I came in here around 2 PM this last Saturday afternoon with my husband and our 2 year old daughter. We were in the market for a storage shed for our surplus belongings so we could empty out our guest house (currently used as storage rooms) and let our teenage daughter move out into the guest house. I definitely wanted something better than one of those flimsy metal storage sheds that you assemble yourself, and I already knew that Tuff Shed makes VERY sturdy storage buildings. The Tuff Shed store on Illini Street has a spacious indoor showroom, so thankfully we didn't need to spend any time outside because the specific units we were most interested in were already assembled inside the air conditioned showroom. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and offered ice cold water by our salesman, David Haines; he was very friendly and seemed like a straight shooter. At no point did I feel like he was just some slick, salesman. He seemed to really understand that pricing was critical for us and that (unfortunately) our budget wasn't very flexible, but that we still wanted a Tuff Shed quality building. He advised us on the features that we could add after the fact to help keep the overall cost within our budget and I really appreciated that. David walked us through the pros and cons and the features and costs of each of the sheds that we expressed interest in, and he was also immensely helpful in helping us entertain our overactive 2 year old while my husband and I consulted each other and examined the sheds in detail. In fact, our little daughter was absolutely in love with the little children's play house that they offered for sale in the show room and if I had enough extra money in my budget I would have definitely purchased one for her; it was really cool and she would have been over the moon to have one of her own. With our salesman's advice my husband and I eventually settled on a shed that was even bigger than what we had originally planned on getting for just a little extra money. David helped us pick out the features for our shed and we did the paperwork and paid for the shed and were in and out of there in about an hour. The whole process was simple and straightforward and the price was absolutely reasonable for the quality of the building. I finally got my glass repaired by some of the most awesome techs that have no affiliation with tuffshed. Although I was the one who needed to reach out over 15 times to get it fixed its done. I still have paint on my brand new ac but I know that will never be fixed from tuffshed. Advice to tuffshed...if your name is on the building then yes you are responsible for any damages that occurs during install and no its not the responsibility of the buyer to contact people or businesses to fix them. read more

We recently purchased a "Tuff Shed" from Tuff Shed in Peoria and feel that it is incumbent upon us to share with others our experience. We decided to go with "Tuff Shed" due to their longstanding business in our area. They have a very effective marketing program, and where we would typically conduct our due diligence on a company, we did not. "Tuff Shed" staff are responsive and friendly when in the sales portion of the transaction. You pay in full for the product up front and then things can take a serious turn. To be brief we will provide a summary/overview and then addendums/attachments for anyone wishing to review additional detail. Provided "Tuff Shed" team a photograph of area where shed was to be placed. Paid extra for a "tight fit". Were told it could be "snugged right up to the wall". Crew no call no show on first appointment for installation, we were contacted after the appointment window had passed and were told that their truck had broken down. Side note, it appears that "Tuff Shed" sub contracts the installation. We canceled plans to take our kids fishing with their grandparents on one of the only days that our schedules allowed. Second date for installation, the two man crew showed up approximately one hour after the "time window" without notification. They informed us that the shed would not fit and that 18 inches minimum around all sides was necessary. Spoke to "Tuff Shed" support staff by phone and they said 6 inches and indicated maybe they had selected the wrong crew. They sent the "Superintendent" to survey the area and determine a solution. He indicated that they could make if fit, but it may be too close to gate. We needed to have the shed cut down by a foot to make it viable. He indicated this was no problem and would only take them approximately 30 minutes. In this area was an old / unused Dish satellite dish. My wife asked if they could take it down as it was bolted in with commercial bolts to the wall. She indicated that we did not use it and it was not connected. He said that they would "not touch it" and we would need to have it removed. We had some workers come over with a commercial drill and remove it. It took them approximately 2 minutes. In this area were also approximately one dozen roof shingles. The superintendent also indicated to make sure those were moved out of the way. I made sure to move the shingles a few feet away which took approximately 1 minute. It should be noted on "Tuff Shed's" behalf that they did not ask us to install the shed itself, they actually did that. 3rd appointment for install.... Turns out a 2 man crew was not able to complete the install so close to the wall on 2 sides. So they sent a 1 man crew to take care of it! And he did. He was friendly, hard working, and capable. Only took him a few hours and it was up. It was up on blocks..... We had paid extra for critter covers, had cement laid for the shed, sent a picture to the sales rep, had no fewer than 3 "Tuff Shed" employees evaluate the area to include the superintendent. And now our shed was on blocks so that any "critter" within miles would have a nice place to live. This of course was also up to us to resolve. They also forgot the hooks for the peg board. Thankfully our concerns were escalated to a District Manager. He immediately exhibited extreme ownership and leadership. He indicated that there is a "laziness" problem with the Sales team. Further, that we had received documentation AFTER they had our money that basically absolved them of almost all responsibility and that all the problems were ours. He did throw in a window, on the wrong side.... But the installation crew (the one guy) moved it to the other side for us. We will say that they have an incredible business model. They basically sell wood for many thousands of dollars. According to their own staff, it doesn't take them long to build it and it certainly doesn't take them long to install on the 3rd try. Shame on us that this information is already out there and clearly the company does not care and is not effected by it. A look at the BBB indicates that they have 1 star. I had a great experience with this (my second) Tuff shed. I needed a unique size, it was easy to custom. Easy easy to order, my sales guy Ed Arroyo was great, answered all my questions and got me scheduled. I had a reasonable reminders/updates and was contacted the day before to firm up the time. The two guys that installed were on time, very nice, polite and cleaned up after themselves. Couldn't ask for more! And the unit, solid, well built and top quality. Apparently TUFF SHED.'s are not very tough. Also TUFF SHED. does not stand by their warranty or their product. Recently purchased a shed and I went to open the door and the door would not close properly after looking at the hinge area the wood has been completely split where they screwed the hinges on. Call TUFF SHED. for warranty work and basically got the response not our problem end it is not covered under warranty. After spending thousands of dollars on a shed you would think they would treat their customers a little better. They said it was my fault the shed door wasn't working properly. Not sure how that happens we hadn't even use the shed yet. read more

I designed a Tuff Shed on-line and purchased the beginning of October '20. For some absurd reason, Tuff Shed PHX could not send me final documents that correctly reflected my design, so I then needed to cancel my initial order and create a new order. With the new order somehow now allowing Tuff Shed PHX to correctly utilize their own software, the install was scheduled for the first of December. When the day of install finally came around, and the installers showed up, everything seemed to be moving smoothly. This precise moment has been the high water mark with my experience with Tuff Shed PHX. Come to find out, after the installers had erected the structure, multiple pieces were missing on the delivery (shelving, door frame, window box, etc.), the walls had either not been cut or mis-cut to accommodate the windows or vents included in the design (some of which were also missing from the delivery), the entire structure was built with one side of the metal base missing and they didn't finish shingling the roof (which the installers failed to mention and I did not initially notice). In fact, if I hadn't checked to see if the installers needed water, I probably wouldn't have been formally informed about any of these issues as the installers seemed to just vanish from my property without warning. I waited for Tuff Shed to contact me to schedule a follow-up date to fix the issues and complete the install of the missing items, however I received NO communication for two weeks. It took MULTIPLE phone calls and emails to finally get a response back and Tuff Shed had no idea of the issues with this install. This is how the follow-up appointments have faired so far: 1st Attempt: No Call No Show ( I again needed to contact Tuff Shed multiple times to reschedule .) 2nd Attempt: They showed up! Multiple issues were taken care of but not all. The cuts for the windows and vents that were now needed to be made on site because they were missed at factory were sloppy and imprecise, making the finish look more like a kids clubhouse constructed with found materials than what I had designed. They finished the roofing that I was unaware had not been completed to this point, however we were now almost two months past the initial install date and it had snowed multiple times in Flagstaff, where we live, to that point. After this appointment, I still only had 3/4 of a base holding up the structure! However, Tuff Shed did contact me the following day to schedule another appointment. 3rd Attempt: No Call No Show. Again. Have yet to receive any communication. I have again started what has proved to be the arduous process of contacting Tuff Shed on multiple occasions to get any sort of attention to my incomplete purchase. I want to be clear here, each scheduled attempt means that I am unable to pursue my own business as I need to be available at home. Also, with the foundation of the structure incomplete, I have not been able to fully utilize the structure, relegating the building to nothing much more than a goofy looking lawn ornament, to this point. At this point I'm not sure if I should have any expectations to have a competently completed Tuff Shed building on my property. However, I'm very confident that competency and Tuff Shed PHX are NOT synonymous. As far as the quality of the final product, HOW WOULD I KNOW!?!! read more

Our old "non tuff shed" was destroyed by a wind storm. We met with Ed Arroyo and he walked us through the entire design and build process. He was very thorough and meds us very comfortable with our purchase. Our new shed was built on the day promised and we couldn't be happier! Great product and great sales staff, will definitely refer my friends, family, and clients to Ed and Tuff Shed! read more

BUYER BEWARE!! I ordered a Tuff Shed through Home Depot. The sales representative came out and took measurements. We decided to build a 6×10 shed. Now the nightmare starts... No show or phone call on the morning of the installation. After a phone call and being put on perma-hold I was told that the truck "broke down" and needed to be towed. We rescheduled and the new installation was supposed to be at our house between 7-9am. Once again, NO PHONE CALL. A guy arrived that was supposed to be an installer at 1pm. The installation was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! A child could have painted the shed better than this installer. The shed was missing trim pieces and paint was splattered all over my concrete slab. The paint on the shed was watered down and you could see the wood under the paint. When they sent out the "top installer" he left the aluminum rain drip all bent and dented. YOU MAY NEED A SHED BUT, TUFF SHED IS NOT THE QUALITY SHED THEY BRAG ABOUT!!! I am currently addressing the issue with HomeDepot because I've never heard back from TUFF SHED.
