Again, you say that "your team will do what [you] can to help," but I talked to you on the phone, and you're the one who told me my warranty is still in effect and this is covered by the warranty, but that you won't fix this because it's expensive for you. Shed door was installed incorrectly, there was no seal around the frame so every time it rains the flooring puddles up and water crawls around the entire shed floor. I can forgive a mistake, if they simply fix it as soon as they realize the error, but their process is opaque and very underhanded. The workers sent to my home pretend they can't speak English; even if they can, they can't speak to me, they can only speak to Carlos, who isn't here looking at the shed... then Carlos tells the worker what to tell me. It's absolutely insane. Now, Carlos hasn't called me back after I've left 4 messages, and contacted their National office for warranty support. I don't understand the business practices of this company, except that it includes not using any form of written communication; I imagine this js so that there is no paper trail if the company is reneging on their contractual obligations nation-wide relative to their warranties. No one has an email, no one responds to voicemails. And I've finally requested that I not work with Carlos, but he's the 'only one' I can talk to in the office?! But he never answers the phone and hasn't called back after several attempts over several weeks. What a load of sh**. Absolutely awful, I guess if your install goes great, then you'll have a great experience but if you ever need help again, don't expect it from this office. I am about to contact my credit card company to pull the entire order based on violation of contract - a $10k+ order. Maybe someone will call me then? read more

We are in the process of moving my mother in with us and needed to store much of our things to make room for her. I checked out several places online to look at sheds! There were a few on sale but it was stated that it came unpainted or without the tiles for the roof! Plus, it came Unassembled! Also, they would not be able to deliver the shed for another 3 months! Since I built a Granny Flat in my former garage, I needed the Tuffshed for storage. Ramon and Pablo arrived promptly at 7:00 am, were courteous and efficient, and had the TuffShed installed by 9:00 a.m. It is prefabricated but requires assembly and a final coat of paint. I selected the Sundance Series lean to style shed. It is 4 x 10 x 7.11 and fits perfectly in the space. It is a very small space and they had to sandwich it in between an existing gate and fence, but were up for the challenge. The paint colors match my home and it looks just great! read more

Chris Pearce helped me. He was a polite enough salesmen. I used the online tool to design a shed. He talked me into getting a ridge vent. After i paid for it, i started asking more questions about insulating the ceiling and finishing the shed. He wouldn't offer any advice on finishing the ceiling. He said that's not what Tuff Shed does. A little annoying that they have tons of finished shed in their pictures, and market the sheds as office conversions, but offer no guidance. Should have done more research. I got a residential door. The installer didn't install it right and it was cosmetically damaged on arrival. Chris said this was his best crew, i would hate to see what kind of work the worst crew does. I call about the door. The warrant repair crew comes out and bores out the lock plate and says it is fixed. I test the door and it's better, but not fixed. The repair guy says to get it to close right he would have to bore out a big hole in the latch plate but then the door wouldn't fit snug. So, my brand new door still doesn't close right and is scuffed up. We end up settling on a small credit, amicably. read more

I purchased a TUFF Shed Premier series ten years ago and it's still standing. The only issue I've had was the set of keys have seen better days. I made a call to TUFF shed in Pacomia and they gave me three spare keys at no charge complimentary. The female rep that sits towards the end of the show room held the keys for me for a week and when I showed up handed them to me personally "Great customer service". There was a gentleman that I first approach and was a bit defensive due "last name Rodriguez" due to me not remembering the reps name. She came to my rescue ha des me the keys and got me in and out quick. They only thing is I never received a notification of the warranty about to expire and due to the shuffle of life forgot to submit a claim for paint and two side of the shed's siding warping causing outside elements "dirt and debris" to enter the inside. read more

Where should I start? They scedule our construction for the 7th of Jan. no one showed after I called they said the scedule was change to the 8th. OK. they arrived and we was told it would take 1 day to finish the construction. At the end of the day they have forgot some items so they would finsh the next day. OK. After completing the shed my wife was the only one home and is disable to go down to check out the shed and did'nt know better but she signed it. I got home from work looked around and found many issues. They have put up a broken outside wall that they covered in the inside with peg board saying it was a gift for not finishing in time. they used nail and screws for the floor which nails are not going to stay connected to the metal framing. So the floor squeaks. One nail they used bent back up through the top of the floor now I have a hazard there. They were supposed to touch up paint which they did not do. The window inside comes out of its frame very easilyand will not stay open. The guy that was building it had forgot the vents on front and back of the shed so he was going to bring them back and install them. Still haven't seen him. I called warenty department left my number with them and still haven't heard from them. I love the look of the shed Its just the contractor did a piss poor job. For the money I spent I am hoping to get this resolved soon. Oh did i mention that they put the double doors upside down the first day so I had to get them to change it? read more

We just has an 8' x 12' Tuff Shed installed on our hillside property... There was not much clearance, and the access was difficult, but the guys made it work! I know you can order the sheds online, but it helped to be able to go into the office a couple times and see the features in person. We had a lot of help from Luis at the Pacoima location... he was helpful and friendly, and made the process go smoothly. He also set it up for us that we could bring in our own paint, so we could match the paint and trim to our house. Anyhow, the shed came out great. We purchased a Tuff Shed garage that was later cancelled. After 6 months of work on our garage they had to cancel our order because they were unable to build it. We had drawings, permit, and the concrete poured for the garage. After they evaluated the site, 1 week before install, they realized they didn't have the equipment to build our 2 story garage due to power lines in the alley behind our house. We didn't find out about the problem except for the electrical service provider calling us to inform us of the problem. After getting a hold of Tuff Shed they explained the issue, however the electrical lines had never changed and were always in our alley. They were unable to troubleshoot how to build the structure with the lines in the alley. They argued with me on the phone about how it was my fault for not having an appropriate site, while when we met with them the 1st time they looked at the electrical lines and said it wouldn't be an issue. Tuff Sheds might be good at sheds, but never buy a garage from them. read more

I have to say that production team didn't install vents as were specified in Luis' plans, but they sent a fellow out the very next day to make the correction. I wanted to build a "studio style she shed" and did a lot of research to determine the best way to go. Hire a contractor to build from scratch? Buy a kit and hire someone to put it together? Buy a Home Depot Tuff shed and hire someone to modify it? Then I discovered that Tuff Shed had a line of higher end, customizable Studio sheds that could be ordered directly from Tuff Shed. I went to the Tuff Shed website and used their online design tool and found that I could get a shed built with all the features that I wanted at a cost significantly less than similar high end sheds I was looking at on line. I went to the showroom in Pacoima and Luis Rodriquez, Sales and Design Consultant, walked me through the entire ordering process and made some suggestions that were very helpful. I was impressed with the quality of the sheds in the showroom and placed my order. I designed an 8 x 12 Studio Style shed with double glass doors, two large 4 x 3 windows and selected all paint, trim and shingle colors. I was told that my shed would be ready to be installed in 6 weeks since I had special order outswing, double glass doors that had a long lead time. Just two weeks later I received a message from Luis that my doors had come in early and we scheduled an installation appointment for 2 days later. On the day of the installation 2 men showed up right on time and started the installation. They were amazing. They consulted with me consistently throughout the day to make sure the installation was completed exactly as I wanted. At the end of the day my shed was completed and the quality of the work was superb. The installers were extremely careful with the surrounding landscaping so the shed looked like it had always been there. Although their product is wonderful, the customer care from the Tuff Shed people is terrible. It took months and months for them to complete my shed because someone in their office who was supposed to schedule things just didn't. And there was a problem with the handle on my shed's door Monday. I called and left a message. 24 hours later, no return call, so I called again. Wednesday no return call so I called again, and spoke to Carlos to arrange for them to come Thursday morning. Come Thursday, no call, no show. When I called to ask where they were, I was told it was for Friday morning that I had "told him" I couldn't do it this morning, which was totally untrue. So if you want a good shed, call them, but don't expect good customer care. read more
