I recently got a Tuff Shed and Luis helped me through the whole process which went very well. The only tricky part is finding the actual location. They need to have better signage outside to mark the location. read more

Luis was very attentive and knowledgeable when we first visited the showroom and during our ordering process and throughout the process. We had an install start window between 9am-11am and they arrived early at 8:15am which was nice for us because after the installation we had more time for doing our storage transfer. The Tuff Shed looks great, very well built, and is just what we needed. William and his partner did a great install, were very considerate and careful when loading in and assembling, and made sure to clean up afterwards. Thank you read more

We had a Tuffshed. It looked today, like it did when it was installed in the back yard 10 years ago! Well we moved, and needed a new Tuffshed. Unfortunately, because we moved into a HOA regulated neighborhood we had logistical issues. We visited Luis Rodriguez and discussed our issues. He worked with his designers and overcame the obstacles. We were ultimately able to work within our guidelines and ordered a structure. Due to our landscaper, we had to delay the installation for several weeks. Then they reached out and said, have the shed installed Friday, three days from now! I called Luis and assumed they could not meet the short deadline. Boy, was I wrong. He immediately said YES! He said no don't worry he would make it happen! And he did! The crew arrived on time and installed the shed exactly as we had planned. Could not have asked for a better outcome. Thanks Luis and Tuffshed for the professional experience! read more

First, shout out to both Luis, our sales person, and Jesus, our installer. Luis was super responsive to all questions and guiding us through the process making it very easy. Jesus was terrific making sure our installation was placed where we wanted and he did everything right. Friendly, professional, and accommodating. The garden shed [8x8] itself looks great. This stuff is build to last. We have a huge barn shed that is well over 10 years old and is still good as new. Could not be happier with your team of sales persons and installers and your product. read more

I am extremely happy that I contacted Tuff Shed for storage shed on my property. I especially, want to thank Luis Rodriguez, for his professionalism, efficiency, and pleasant demeanor. He showed me all possible types and sizes of sheds and helped me to find the one that meets my needs. I highly recommend this business to anyone who wants to get a shed. read more

I worked with Sergio on designing the shed for our very challenging space. He was super helpful and pro in consulting and coming up with solutions. I have never bought a storage shed before. After researching many different types of storage shed companies online and at Home Depot among other places, I read Tuff Shed's Pacoima/Arleta Yelp's reviews. In particular, many people raved about the salesman Luis, so I thought I'd give him a call. When I got there, I was really impressed that he had all the positive qualities the other reviewers had claimed including easy going, no pressure at all, patient, knowledgeable, etc... I took home the info he had given me & shared it with my wife. I came back later with her & he addressed her concerns & we sealed the deal. I was also pleasantly surprised that their showroom building also housed their factory. It was nice to know that I was going straight to the dealer/manufacturer, which likely saved me money. I found out that their prices include installation and that they had their own team of team of installers. I had read in other storage shed companies' reviews, that the installers often did a poor job. Not so with my installation. I watched them as they assembled and installed it in our back yard. They had this down to an art. I told the lead installer Jose, (who was also very polite), that he must have installed hundreds of these. He replied, "It's more like thousands. I have been doing this for many years." I believed him. I am extremely satisfied with the whole experience. read more

Luis was fast, knowledgeable and efficient in providing information and logistics needed to have my ideal shed felivered and built. No marketing ploys and simple business teansaction which made the whole experience awesome. I highly recommend working with Luis. The build team was another awesome group of people. Jesus was professional and on time. Great in communicating the scope of project and stayed very late at night to make sure " the project was done right"! In the near future, If a need arises to have anothee shed huilt, I will definitely go to Lyis and request Jesus build it.! read more

Just had a 6'x10' premium lean-to shed in my back yard. We needed some extra storage space, especially for some large items such as bikes and surfboards. I placed the initial online order after using the helpful virtual design tool on the TuffShed website. Within minutes of submitting the order, I received a phone call from TuffShed (on a Saturday)! Before placing the shed into production, they wanted some details and photos of the installation site. I'm really grateful to Cristian Perez, who spent a full day (again on a weekend) communicating with me to ensure that the site was fully prepped and that the measurements were just right to ensure a perfect fit. I ended up asking my gardener to remove some small trees/bushes to make space for the shed. Cristian was meticulous - he noted a small overhang on an adjacent garage in a photo I sent to him. He asked me to measure the height and depth of the overhang so that we could account for it in the installation. After the site was clear, the shed and the two-man assembly team arrived just a few days later, promptly on a Saturday morning. Jesus and Beto then set to work, building and painting the shed. It was amazing to watch these guys work over 3 hours. When the shed was 90% complete, Jesus paused to ask me which side I would prefer the door hinges to be on. Indeed he was right to ask - I had made an error in the original computer design. His idea to place the hinges on the other side was much better. When the shed was complete, Jesus smiled and handed me the keys. As the paint dried, I installed 2 bike hooks and put some bikes and surfboards into the shed. The shed is solid and beautiful. Enhances my property. Total cost $4200. Highly recommended. read more

Sergio Aguilar was my salesperson and he by far met and exceeded my expectations. He came out to my property 2 times to help me decide which size shed would work best for my needs and the space I had. I ultimately decided on a 5 x 10 and I'm happy with the storage space it gives me. The installers were great as well, had that thing up in 2 hours. Tuff shed has upgraded their flooring which I really appreciate. One minor issue with no vents but Sergio addressed it immediately when I brought it to his attention. Overall a great experience. read more

I would steer clear from this... save money go elsewhere or find a handy man.... Most unprofessional company I've used for this type of work...my shed looks uneven from the inside... they split a lot of the wood and wanna replace it with puddy... spent $2400 for puddy on my new shed??? I might ass well picked up a guy from Home Depot I woulda saved tremendous amount of money... take your time with this one.. Luis gave me the deal... dealing with this headache read more

Excellent service and workmanship. Luis R at the Pacoima/Arleta location was very knowledgeable in guiding us to the best shed option for our needs. The verdict is still out regarding Tuff Sheds. I want to love them but it's taking forever to get my garage built. Some of it was on me BUT, I put down a deposit back in September now it's January. Using my fingers, I'm counting 4 months with no garage. All the Tuff Shed associates have been great to work with, but.......I would like to have seen more progress. Update to follow. read more

Luis was amazing! Went to the show room, saw what I liked and Luis was able to answer all of my questions. They had a special for financing for 12 months so I jumped on it. Decided to pick a bigger size shed than originally planned and was well worth it. I informed Luis that my shed installation would be about 3-4 weeks out and he said no problem. Had my shed installed in 1 day and the workers stayed until they finished the install around 6:30pm! Everything went smooth and the workers were kind and polite to help any questions I had. read more

We're really happy with our new 8x12 shed. Luis was great to work with every step of the way from the beginning through to the follow up. Tuffshed gets communication right-- everything is clear and explained and follow-up and follow-through is fantastic. Our shed is exactly what we need and the three guys who came to install it, Mario, Jorge and David were a pleasure to work with. They built it in a very tight space and had a can do attitude. We upgraded to the metal roof, so our shed perfectly matches our house and art studio. Hurray! Somewhere to finally put the old cans of paint, bicycles and boogie boards!!!! read more

Tuff Sheds is such a great company! I now have three sheds on my property. At one point I was paying a ton for storage units, but when I did the math I could have paid for a shed every year. I went to Home Depot and got a credit card, and ordered my first shed. ALL of my installers were absolutely amazing, but I'm sending a special shout out to Brandon! Carlos manages the entire operation, and I can't say enough about how well he took care of the jobs, and me! There were a few issues, because we were installing in a tight spot. Important to be aware of roof clearance and space clearance in general I strongly advise to place the door lock keys in a place where you will remember where they are. My son grabbed a key to one of my sheds, took out what he needed, and then lost the key - and of course it's the one day I needed something out of that shed right away. The company can sell you extra keys, if you lose them - just so you know. Keep all phone numbers in your phone for the people you deal with when getting a shed built. They sure come in handy! Thank you again to the entire Tuff Shed team. read more

A terrific experience from start to finish -- Jorge worked with me on all the details, the customization was perfect. They sent a PM to my property, measured, took notes, then made a reasonable quote with a 7 year warranty :) Installation, was very smooth - they had my 7x12 shed erected in under 5 hours and the quality is present. The base was elevated, the walls insulated, the pain matched my house, the roof had shingles, came with a solid lock. Like a mini house in my backyard (Minus plumbing, electrical, residents, etc..). Highly recommend :) read more

The quality of service and installation was horrible! Given the price for the sheds, you expect top notch quality in service, installation, and product. This is not the case for this company. They sold us the shed and when the installation day came they were incredibly unprofessional. The installers were not only 3 hours late but didn't finish the shed. None of them spoke English and we had to get Luis to translate for us. This was a horrible experience and to make matters worse they were late again the very next day. People have places to be and things to do. If you give an installation date and time keep it! The shed's installation was done in a rushed manner and it shows! There are nails, holes, and areas missing sealant all over the shed. The instillation was not only done poorly but with nails sticking out of everywhere it is dangerous! I couldn't be more disappointed with the installation. These sheds are expensive and they brand themselves as having top quality service in all departments but that is not the case. They don't care about you and only want to sell these sheds to you and leave you hanging. Please reconsider choosing this company given the price and quality you receive in return. read more

Had a great experience from start to finish. Luis Rodriguez, was super helpful in designing the shed and was responsive in all my questions after the initial sale. And i had alot of questions before the installation. The Tuff shed builidng team was prompt and efficient. took 5hrs to put our 15x7 shed up. Painted it. leveled it. This shed should have no issues lasting past their 7yr warranty. It is built to last. Definitely, go to the show room in Pacoima and see the sheds up front. And seek out Luis. it will be worth your time to visit. read more

Update: After speaking with a company rep about the damaged door on my newly installed shed I was told there was no guarantee that the replacement door wouldn't be damaged as well. I was then informed that the doors (I paid for upgraded residential door) weren't "finished" and the owner is expected to bondo damage and "paint to finish". This was never mentioned during purchase, build out, delivery or final inspection (which I didn't sign off on due to the shoddy workmanship). This was supposed to be a finished shed. I spent thousands on concrete preparing a site and expected a "finished" shed, not an 85% done and I finish the rest. Tuff Shed is an absolute RipOff, playing on a name. It's no longer a premium product worth the extra money you pay. Learned an expensive lesson. I'm buying another home that requires numerous outbuildings and won't ever consider a Tuff Shed again. read more

This review is primarily for the customer service at Tuff Shed. I ran into a scenario where I needed help with getting a key to a Tuff Shed at a house I just purchased. After some running around I made my way to the main manufacturing facility. While he didn't have to, Luis went out of his way to help me out and even going in to detail with researching the previous purchase of the unit by the folks that owned the house prior to me. There are many options for getting what you need with a storage unit, but what you want is someone to look out for you during the process. Go see Luis at Tuff Shed in Pacoima. He made sure I was taken care of, and that meant a lot. I have no doubt he will look out for you too. read more

Spoke with Luis Rodriguez at their showroom in Arleta. He was very helpful in prescribing exactly what we needed. After some back and forth communication, he set us up with a pair of 10x12 units for our sizable back yard. The contracts were signed seamlessly and we were able to set a date 6 weeks out. A week later, Luis contacted us to give us a closer date. Fantastic! The crew showed up early and got to work. They communicated with me on how we wanted to position the units regarding spacing. They executed perfectly. After the installation, we did a quick run through outside and in. They removed all exposed nails and cleaned up thoroughly. They completed both units within 4 hours and gave me the remainder of my day to fill our brand new beautiful storage units with decades worth of clutter. Out of the house and into the storage!! Whatever your storage needs are, give Luis a buzz and he'll make sure to educate you on exactly what you need and why. Thank Luis! read more

Amazing customer service. Thank you, Luis!!. Installation was fast and very professional.

We had been planning to build a 10x12 work-from-home office for the better part of a year as the final stage of a renovation to our home. Suddenly a year had flown by and we had moved back into our house and my work-from-home job was due to start up in less than a month. My mother had been recommending that we go to Tuffshed for some time, which might have been part of the reason it was the last place I looked at online, but the price was nearly half the cost of other options I was looking at and I was able to find a design that worked well for me. I checked out the Yelp reviews and saw that Luis Rodriguez was highly recommended. We walked in on a Friday afternoon and I was happy to hear his name when he greeted us. Luis lived up to the solid reviews and helped us to put in an order in for my office in under an hour. It sounds like it depends on what's available at any given time, but we were on a very tight timeline and Luis really pulled out all the stops to make sure our installation went onto the fast track and helped guide us to make choices that wouldn't slow us down. He also recommended Marcello to help us with installing a cement pad as well as putting in drywall, flooring and a Mini Split AC system following the installation. We had the cement pad poured the next Monday and our shed was installed the following Friday only a week after ordering. Marcello has done an incredible job finishing the build at an incredibly fast pace and in less than a month, my backyard work-from-home office vision had become a reality. I absolutely love my new space and I highly recommend both Luis and Marcello to anyone looking to add an extra workspace or studio to their property, we've been nothing but pleased with our experiences with Luis, Marcello and Tuffshed! read more

I needed a 10'x10' shed for an existing 10x10 concrete pad that once had a shed on it many years ago. I shopped around, priced several types. Stopped in at the Pacoima showroom and met with Luis. He showed me a couple of types, gave me some prices. After a week of doing some more research on the type I would need, a well build sturdy waterproof shed vs a cheaper metal type that had many negative issues, I went back to see Luis. We went over the details, colors, and delivery time. The guys showed up at 9am as promised on the day promised. Took about 4 hrs to build, Robert and his assistant did a great job. Luis was great to deal with, my experience was easy and I'm very happy with my choice. read more

My experience with Tuff Shed was very frustrating. I'd compare it to working with car salesmen that sells you a lemon and then tells you its your fault the car doesn't work. I spoke to Juan from Tuff Shed who sells out of Home Depot at the Marina deal Rey store. He asked me for measurements while I was on the phone. I measure per his directions, he was so great until the shed was delivered wrong the first time. The 2nd version came and it didn't fit. My ground wasn't level so the manager asked me to dig a five inch hole so the shed would fit or cut the eaves of my roof. Both suggestions were impossible and ridiculous. So now I am stuck with a $500 cancelation fee when if the sales rep came out an did the measurements none of this would have happened. The worst part is I still don't have a shed. I found the whole experience disorganized and their customer service is terrible. They are not logically solution oriented, cutting my roof to fit a Tuff Shed is bananas. And digging a shallow trench is not safe for me or my neighbors if we have a rainy season again this year. read more

Luis is a dream representative. He worked diligently and pleasantly with me (senior lady who is measurement challenged) to get me the perfect shed for my smallish space. He even came out to double check the measurements! He also arranged to have a great crew - Hector and Jerry - who expertly moved the shed under the eave to assure sufficient access on three sides. I am extremely pleased and cannot recommend Luis enough. read more
