I send this Review on behalf of my Sister In-Law (Irma E. from Tucson, Az.)…read more.. Earlier this year (February 2025) I took my Dodge Durango in for Emissions Testing and was told that a Check Engine Light (CEL) was on which prevented a "Passing Test". After searching for a location to look into the CEL issue, I ended up at Dave's Auto Repair. I was initially told that there was a fuel leak in the gas tank that was causing the CEL issue. After authorizing the repair, at a cost of $500, I was told to drive the vehicle at least 50+ miles, after which time the CEL would turn off. Well, the CEL persisted causing me to return to Dave's Auto Repair. After several attempts to correct the CEL, which covered over 2 months of return trips, I was told by Dave that the issue was actually a defective Gas Tank (that needed replacement). The Gas Tank replacement was authorized and, after another month of Vehicle Down Time, I again picked up my vehicle which was now equipped with a New Gas Tank and Replacement Gas Cap, all to the tune of another $500. In addition, I was told that the CEL would turn off after driving the vehicle for another 50+ miles. Unfortunately, the CEL did not go away so I decided to change "tactics" and took my vehicle to a Dodge Service Center (LHM). A Service Rep inspected my vehicle and determined that the Gas Cap was a Non-Certified Dodge part that was not sealing properly. An OEM Gas Cap was then installed which immediately caused the CEL to turn off, this at a cost of $50. So it looks like I was "taken" by Dave's Auto Repair at the tune of $1000 of probably un-needed repairs (looks like the real issue was just a work Gas Cap not providing the proper seal). Hold On!!! the story continues. Last week (early July 2025) I started up my Dodge Durango and immediately began to smell the odor of gas. As I began to inspect my vehicle, I found that a large gas leak was coming from my "newly installed" Gas Tank. I immediately turned off my vehicle, but the gas continued to leak out from the Gas Tank. Rather than return my vehicle to Dave's Auto Repair, I had it towed to the Dodge Service Center (LHM) for further inspection and repair. Morale of this Story, STAY AWAY FROM DAVE'S AUTO REPAIR....terrible service for unnecessary auto repairs, oh, and by the way, very rude!!!.

You won't find him at his desk as he is out on the floor selling vehicle(s). You can either ask for him at the front desk or also call and ask for him and they'll transfer you to him. If I can describe Triston in one word it would be hardworking. He absolutely did not stop trying to find me a vehicle I liked with ALL my requests. I was very impressed by his eagerness to find me a vehicle of my liking but also knowledgeable to advise me of vehicles that wouldn't make sense for me. Sometimes when financing a vehicle it can be challenging finding something without a salesman being too pushy or putting you in something that you don't even like just so they can make a sale off you. At LHM that will not happen if you go with Triston. I also highly recommend adding GAP & extended warranty, yes it will increase your monthly payments but it will also help you in the long run trust me. I have financed 3 vehicles with LHM and I've always walked out happy. I got my 2016 Dodge Challenger, 2021 Ford Escape and my 2022 Dodge Charger. I hope my experience helps you feel confident in getting your dream vehicle at LHM.

1 Star -- Highly Disappointed Daniel Castillo was our…read moreadvisor Highly disappointed with the service we received at Jeep. The vehicle was dropped off at 8:00 AM for a recall service and windshield replacement. First, we were never called or notified that the vehicle was ready. We finally decided to check in ourselves around 3:00 PM and found the Jeep already parked and apparently finished for quite some time. What was even more disappointing was finding small pieces of glass all over the seats and interior after the windshield replacement. This is not only careless but also a safety concern. We asked if they could vacuum and clean the glass out of the vehicle. After waiting about 15 minutes, we were then told it would be another 20 minutes before someone could get to it. After already having the vehicle there since 8:00 AM and receiving no call that it was finished, we decided we weren't going to wait even longer and ended up cleaning the glass ourselves. A windshield replacement should include making sure the interior is clean and free of broken glass before returning the vehicle to the customer. The lack of communication, attention to detail, and urgency in correcting the issue was extremely disappointing. Definitely expected much better service from a Jeep dealership.

I chose to take my car to Borst Automotive because of the excellent service I received last year…read more Unfortunately, that level of service has completely disappeared. The little touches that made them stand out are gone. They no longer provide a complimentary car wash after service, they let go of the driver who used to take customers home, and none of the management team that was there last year is still there. The entire atmosphere of the shop has changed, and not for the better. I explained to Fernando, the general manager, that my vehicle had mostly been sitting in my garage since July and that I wanted a routine service along with an inspection of a specific issue I had asked them to evaluate. Instead, I was sent an estimate for nearly $5,700 that didn't even address the repairs I specifically brought the car in for. Several items were marked as "critical," and the estimate instructed me to call with any questions. When I called to review the estimate, Fernando immediately responded, "Didn't you get the report I sent?" I explained that I had, but I'm not a mechanic and wanted someone to explain what the findings actually meant. He told me I needed both my front and rear suspension replaced because of the control arms. However, when I pointed out that the inspection report only said the manufacturer recommended the rear suspension and didn't identify it as a problem, he suddenly backed off and said it wasn't necessary at this time. The conversation became increasingly frustrating. His tone was pushy, dismissive, and argumentative. He accused me of having the vehicle serviced somewhere else in November and implied I hadn't maintained it properly. I explained that the car had been sitting in my garage from July until March and that the only reason it was seen elsewhere was because the battery died and needed to be replaced. He then insisted that I had been driving the car extensively because it had accumulated 2,000 miles. I had to explain that those 2,000 miles were driven over an entire year, which is actually very low mileage. At that point, I realized I was arguing with the person inspecting my car about facts that he could easily verify from the service records. That was enough for me. I sent the inspection report and estimate to a trusted friend who is an experienced mechanic in another state. He immediately told me that the quoted prices were roughly double what they should be and advised me not to have the work done there. I have since found another mechanic who treated me with respect, took the time to explain what my car actually needs and quoted much more reasonable prices.
