took my silverado in for AC service. found out they charge twice as much as other repair places . they charged $360 for a service that other places charge $150. I called a couple of other places after leaving this business. I left a review previously and the owner said if I removed the negative review, he would refund my money. I altered my review to state that they looked at my car promptly. That was not negative. He said no refund so this review is going up. My fault for going there and following a recommendation that this was a honest and reliable busniss. read more

Pete's Auto Sales & Service (Owner) 3 days ago The suspension was good when we aligned it. He came back 4 days later with the bushing completely blown out and said it was the alignment. He was very rude and disrespectful. We checked his vehicle showed him exactly what happened. I told him "I should have told you to kick rocks" being how rude and disrespectful he was being before during and after. We checked his vehicle and showed him exactly what happened and was very upset blaming us for a lower bushing going out..........THIS was the response from the owner. Trying to blame me for the issue. He was upset with me because I kept asking why they did not replace the bushing when he had it in the first time. He never would answer. Instead, he wanted to review the written estimate for a Transmission flush and ball joint sleeve for which I refused service because they were unnecessary for an alignment. They are both crooks and liars. They are nothing like the original owner. His name should not be used for their business. read more

Reevaluate your cost very pricey compared to others. As an example something you quoted me was $300 and another mechanic quoted half. My thought is to always support local but in this case I regret as my vehicle has had issues since. So no the quality of work was not what I expected read more

I truly, honestly..... have never had a worse or more unethical experience with a mechanics shop in my life (and I've been alive over four decades). I'm leaving this review, not for any kind of revenge, but hopefully that other people will see it and choose any other shop to use but this one. Throughout the needlessly dishonest and frustrating ordeal, I was told three different things by three different people; Marcos, Enrique, and the owner Ray. I found Ray to be aggressive and surprisingly unprofessional/dishonest. These guys tried to charge me for a "diagnosis" they never even did, with Enrique claiming I needed "a new starter" for over $600 BEFORE they even do the diagnosis. BEFORE. At that point I said, "Ok. Stop right here. This is not what I agreed to with Marcos, and I do not want to continue this process. I would like to pick up my car now." Ray quickly told me over the phone that they did do the diagnosis (after rambling for minutes about how customers try to "rip him off" and a bunch of other confusing nonsense). Eventually he said, "Well, you're not getting your car back unless you pay the $155". His exact words! He even then began texting me!! He texted me aggressive messages. I documented everything during this ordeal, and I plan on reporting Ray and his shop. The ONLY REASON I eventually was able to leave with my car, without being robbed of $155, is because I came into the shop recording them. After Enrique almost forced me to pay the money (because they WOULD NOT give me my car back) he eventually realized that I had never even signed any paperwork for them to even look at my car in the first place (that's how disorganized they are). I recorded his whole dishonest conversation. So, once they realized that, they finally gave me my car....and Enrique said, "oh I hope you'll trust us again sometime." NOPE. Never again. Ray's unethical, dishonest, and aggressive behavior will absolutely catch up to him and this shop. read more

I went to Pete's auto repair to have the AC fixed on my firebird. They went above and beyond to fix my issue in a timely matter. They were knowledgeable with great customer service. Thank you Ray! read more

These guys were unbelievably awesome! Better Than Best! They communicated with me in an incredibly honest and fair way.

We got a flat tire just as we we got off the freeway. We noticed Pete's only a block away. Being a company vehicle we are not allowed to change our own tires. Pete's jumped on it right away, and got us out the door in less than 20 minutes. Great service!!! read more

This place is by far fair and gives great quality service and work. The owner even made sure that I received a trusty Uber ride home. I cannot say enough about this place. We were first recommended by a family member (Fernando Flores) many years ago and have used them since back then and they still deliver honest, quality work! I love what you guys did with the front office :D and the lady (mother) up front is so sweet and kind. Thanks again, from a happy 2016 Dodge Dart alignment and multiple repairs customer and husbands long time truck alignments customer-The Gamez's read more

Customer service and environment: 5 out 5, they were all very very friendly, prompt, and respectful. I felt welcomed and like my time mattered. I was in and out in under 30 minutes without an appointment. Trustworthiness: 1 out of 5 I got my rear rotors and brake pads replaced recently. Brought my car here and they said I needed to get my front AND BACK ones replaced. Didn't appear they looked at my car fully or were trying to upsell. Also I got my brakes checked out two other places and they both said they were fine.. read more

Went in this Thursday am to get a diagnostic For my 2016 Kia Sorento That has had ongoing issues with overheating. Previously spent over $4,000 at other repair shops only to end up with same problem. I came here because I was encouraged by the really great reviews I read on yelp. I was hopeful that we could finally get to the core issue once & for all. So glad I found this place, cause this dude (Pete) is pretty knowledgeable & has some great mechanics on his work force. They were able to actually give us a detailed report on what was really going on with my vehicle. I truly appreciated his honesty and integrity, seems like these days that is not easily found. A straight forward guy & no nonsense for sure! Now we know what we have to do. It's hard to believe the 3 prior visits to other shops had no clue, yet Pete was able to resolve the problem at hand & give us some common sense options. If you have car troubles, don't even hesitate. Bring your car to this shop, you will have no regrets, & I'm new in town. Thanks again Pete!! We will make sure to come back for any future repairs when needed. We will gladly share your business with our friends & family that may have any troubles as well. Lord bless your endeavors and give you much success in this business. Irene & Louie read more

I wanted a diagnostic to understand why my Jeep stalled and was not running. I towed it to Petes Auto and my vehicle was not moved from the front parking lot to be inspected in the garage. I asked Ray if he checked the transmission and he said he did not. I called another tow truck and we saw the Jeep hood was left opened. The tow truck driver said he hauls many vehicles from Petes to other mechanic shops. I paid the diagnostic fee and the second tow. I asked Ray to not yell and scream at me when I show up to pay for my bill. He treated me with disrespect and I won't be returning to his business. I have all my receipts from the dealership and the mechanics shops that I have paid for service. read more

Good experience and reasonable price.i was taken care of and didn't feel like i was getting overcharged.

Best value repair in Tucson! Totally honest! Mr. Pete's company has repaired three body-damaged cars for me. One had severe damage. The other two were lighter damage ( smashed fender and door, smashed trunk and two back fenders). Same quality as other good auto body repair shops but less expensive.
