Vanessa, the front desk was a complete delight and so helpful. This isn't my first time at this location, I enjoy the experience a lot! They have new upgraded saunas since the last time I was there and they are pretty amazing. I'm looking forward to continuing my time and visits here.

I really could have spent 2 hrs here though. :) What's even better is that you get to have the whole place to yourself! My husband and I are huge fans of the Japanese onsen, but it's really hard to come by places that offer a nice hot soak. Healing Spirit Soaks was a great experience for us. When we arrived for our reserved time, Brandi showed us the salt scrub tub, sauna, two hot soaking tubs, two cold plunges, and biomat. Shoes are not worn inside, so you can remove your socks and shoes in the changing area - there are also slippers, robes, and towels provided for you. Brandi also offers you a nice herbal tea or water. If you're not familiar with the whole soaking experience, Brandi will walk you through the steps of sauna first, salt scrub and rinse, then hot soak and cold plunge. This visit was extremely relaxing and tranquil, and it went by too fast. I was really sad to have to leave, but I'm definitely going to purchase a membership. Thank you to Brandi for creating this space and to @tucsonlocalista and @ladylunching for posting about their visits!!

My husband and I scheduled facials over 30 days before our check-in date of our stay. We flew in on a Sunday and on Monday I got a phone call from the Spa informing us that they couldn't take us at our scheduled time but they would be happy to bump us up earlier midday. Keep in mind we booked the last appointment of the day because we want the entire day while we're on vacation to enjoy our day to close with spa treatments. The phone call was very professional. I did express my disappointment with having to move us around less than 48 hours before our scheduled times. I shared with the spa while I was grateful for the phone call. I was still disappointed with the abrupt update to rearrange us midday. I almost cancelled us. I tried finding another late day appointment and they shared with us so that wasn't an option even though keep in mind we made our appointments well over 30 days before our arrival. It wasn't until close to the end of our conversation that the caller from the spa said that there was a family emergency and we needed a shift. So my humble opinion if there was truly a family emergency why didn't the phone call lead with that? Why did that not get shared with close to the end of our call my point is it sounded like a staffing issue and if that's the case, I'm OK with the staffing issue just be honest with me. I kept repeating myself saying that I was disappointed, although grateful I felt like there was a gap information and it wasn't entirely truthful. Long story short, we were able to get our services even though we had registered for two facials, The Spa informed us that they could not accommodate a second facial and they could do a massage again we didn't sign up for that over a month before our arrival. My husband gets regular massages at home. I wanted him to experience a facial. Knowing how flexible and accommodating he is, he was happy to take the massage. He's very kind. My facial and his massage were probably the best experiences we've had from those technicians. Brooke was awesome. Regretfully, I can't remember his massage therapist's name, but he said she was awesome and he really enjoyed his experience. When we did check in for our services, staffing looked slim. The girl who walked me through the females locker room, didn't say much outside of where to put your used robe or slippers. She did talk about the lockers and how to get those situated. Overall, I'm glad we had our services and I appreciate the experiences from our direct massage therapist and aesthetician. There are plenty of opportunities for the Spa to flex and adjust how they communicate with their patrons. Grateful though it was a rocky welcome after we checked in for our stay.

Unfortunately, our most recent mother-daughter facial day missed the mark in several ways. We each booked a facial with a wellness add-on. I chose red light therapy and my mom chose the leg compression therapy. For the red light therapy, no one removed my makeup, or even asked if I needed to remove it, which immediately felt strange. There was also zero explanation about the treatment itself: no mention of wavelengths, benefits, or why this type of light is used. My mom had a similar experience with her leg compression add-on. The staff repeatedly asked her, "Are you feeling better?" as if she had come in feeling unwell, which made the whole interaction awkward rather than relaxing. Even small moments felt off. In the lounge, we were offered something to drink and asked for tea. The staff handed us cups without saying what kind it was. Not a huge deal, but details like that matter in a spa environment. The one bright spot of the visit was the facial itself. Once I was finally in the hands of my esthetician, I felt taken care of. My Signature Facelift facial ($168) was relaxing, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. My mom, however, said her esthetician kept trying to sell her every product that was used on her, which took away from the experience and made it hard for her to unwind. Overall, the facial services seem strong, but the wellness add-ons and overall hospitality felt unpolished and inconsistent. I hope they can bring back the attention to detail and hospitality they had when they first opened, because the space and potential are definitely there.
