(my regular therapist has been blessed and is off for a while) Finding this place through Yelp was So Easy. They replied within an hour of my inquiry. I was booked for an appointment very quickly. When I first went in to the office I was greeted by the two mascots, Jack and Morgan. Two Very Sweet dogs who were very vocal with their greeting and very happy to have me greet them with scratches and pets. After filling out the questionnaire, Jack was happy to sit with me for a while and get some special scritches and pats of his own while I waited. He was a comforting presence. Ms. Jerri walked in and then directed me to a room where she asked specific questions about my problem areas and left for me to get ready on the massage table. She was Very Thorough with my back, using a muscle scraping technique along the sides of my spine with what felt like her forearm and the side of her hand. There were moments I was tempted to ask her to stop, but she seemed to know and stopped before I said anything. Her work on my legs and feet was nice and very relaxing. I'm pretty sure she used some kind of wash on my feet with a wet, warm towel to clean them afterward. It was an interesting experience. Not at all unpleasant. She also did something I've never had done before. She lightly massaged my face and tapped at my brow and below my eyes on my cheek bones. It was nice because it helped open up my sinuses after being facedown on the table for a while. After the massage, I reassembled my attire, paid and left. The receptionist asked how it was and I smiled and nodded. I am not saying Ms Jerri is Not a good therapist. I Am Saying, It was the first time I was in her care. As I mentioned before I'm used to different techniques and pressures. My only real issue with this massage was that she did not focus on the specific areas I was having the most issues with, which were outlined in the questionnaire. As with any new experience, especially physical treatments, there is a learning period. Sometimes it takes a few sessions to get the treatments established for the client, and I understand that. Would I go back? Yes, if I am unable to see my regular therapist, absolutely.

Where do I Begin? As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a smiling receptionist, whose personality really lit up the room and made me feel welcomed and relaxed and I hadn't even gotten my massage yet. She was an amazing help and gave me an excellent recommendation on what essential oil to use for my massage. Once my therapist was ready they took me back to the coziest massage room I've ever experienced and the ambience was just so soothing as the massage therapist worked their magic on me. I absolutely loved my experience at Nature's Spa! The knot release process was so deep and thorough--exactly what I needed. I especially enjoyed the moment when they used towels to really stretch my neck; it was fantastic. I walked in feeling like a complete mess, even jokingly calling myself a "mess-sage," but they worked wonders on me. My back feels so much less stressed now. Today I had a 60 minute full-body massage with Wei, the owner. I can't praise her enough! Wei asked about my comfort level throughout the hour and worked some reflexology magic on my feet. The one with plantar fasciitis is already feeling a little better. This was also my first experience with hot stones. Lovely! I have also been massaged by Olivia in the past and highly recommend her as well. Very soothing music plays throughout and this spa is very clean. Best massage therapists in Tucson (no, haven't tried them all but I'd be surprised to find better!). Whether you're a dedicated athlete in need of deep-tissue work to recover from workouts or gentle, relaxing therapy to shake off the stress or anything in between, Nature's Spa is the place. I've been a big believer in the powerful medicine of massage for a long time and Nature's Spa has some of the best providers. I've had great sessions with Josh and Peggy but I'm sure they only hire the best so, book an hour or spoil yourself with 90 minutes. read more

Wonderful 90 minute deep tissue/ integrated massage with Camille! She found and treated many trigger points, stretched me in ways that helped mobilize my stiff areas, and was skilled and intuitive with her hands. Excellent pressure, communication and education about some follow up stretches and strengthening moves to help me correct some imbalances. I got an appointment within an hour of calling. I had one customized massage yesterday. It was awesome. I got my back pain for days. Wei gave me focused massage on my back together with a bit cupping. It was sour during the service. But I barely feel the pain today. The massage room is super cozy and the massage table is very clean. Plus they provide free chinese green tea and cookie. It's not like a business you can walk in anytime, all therapists work by appointments only. There isn't a receptionist. You can book a consult call, but no one is there to answer a call at all times. Booking online is pretty seamless. I've had a few massages, most recently with Lisa. She was great, I'd book with her again for sure. The massage rooms are in bedrooms, very nicely decorated with that serene spa feeling. I've been spending more of my time at Neuma primarily in Shay's yoga and yoga Pilates classes semi-regularly for the past 6 months. Shay is a wonderful teacher, very welcoming and knowledgeable. As an overweight person with anxiety about fitness spaces, I feel comfortable in Shay's classes. The yoga classes take place in the remodeled garage space behind the main house. I believe the class limit is 12, and when full it can be tight, but Shay always adjusts the class to ensure you're not running into your neighbors. They provide blocks, straps, blankets, weights and mats if you need them. Most students take their own mats, but I forgot mine once and was very grateful they had one on hand for me. To sign up for a class, go to the Neuma website, the group classes and click on the individual teachers names. You'll be redirected to a website to sign up and pay. $10 a class or 10 classes for $85 for Shay's classes.
