I wanted a quick massage that was near us. I searched Yelp and found this place and am very glad. I chose the one hour massage and the masseuse was very keen on zoning in to areas that needed more time and was able to give more pressure when needed and I left feeling very relaxed and less stressed than when I arrived. During the massage they played nice relaxing music but the weird thing is half way through my massage this loud party music from a next door shop that is connected it's all one big plaza of stores was almost absurd and then wondered what kind of party place was and what was I missing out on. Then immediately drifted and didn't care because that ladies hands Aya were healing me and made me so relaxed. I did go in the evening before close so not sure if that party music is at night only. The pricing is very good and massage was very therapeutic. This is not a fancy place by no means and would rather have a great massage than overpriced one that wasn't beneficial. read more

I really liked this place! I decided to pop in on a Saturday afternoon and walked in to an empty place. Because there were no other customers I was taken care of right away, quickly and efficiently. I went with the 60 minute reflexology which is $35. Good value! You start by soaking your feet in warm water for a few minutes, before the massage begins, which starts with a head and scalp massage, followed by shoulders, arms, and hands. Then the foot portion begins with extended focus on each foot and leg. The massager even used hot stones on my legs at one point--it felt extra nice and warm. They even get your quads, which is an area I definitely need some work on. Then you flip over for the back massage. The massage was awesome, very relaxing and I have decided that I want to go at least once a month. It really loosens up some stiff areas you don't always think about. And I will definitely be returning to this location for my monthly visit. The place itself seems new and is very clean and tidy. The only issue I had was loud music coming from one of their neighbors, which is a pole dancing studio. I don't mind Selena Gomez, but I don't want her music shaking the walls, making it so I can't hear the relaxing massage music. Kind of distracting and unsettling during reflexology. read more

Great massage- super unexpected from a small food spa establishment. They got us in easily- awesome! We got the $35/hour foot reflexology which included a hot foot bath soak, a head massage, a foot massage, and a back massage (with clothes on for newbies). I went with my boyfriend and we were able to get our massages next to each other. My massage therapist put me to bed I woke myself up snoring- lol. Yes this may not be the $100+ therapeutic massage that you could get at a spa- but for the price and how much it relaxed us... you have to give this place a try. read more

Chose hot oil massage for an hour on two occasions and once for an hour and 30 minutes. Soft spa music in background and very soft lighting made for a soothing environment. This is what I like about the place: Wendy gives a really good massage, very friendly. This is what I dont like: Made online appointment with a specific person, when I showed up, they had no clue I made an appointment. Did not get the person I made the appointment with. Happend 3 times. They always try to talk you into adding something to the service you requested. You always have to wait "5 minutes", what turned out to be a 15 minute wait, even with appointment. English is not their language, hard to communicate. There are other places in Oro Valley where I can get a really good massage and cheaper too. read more

I was on a golf trip at the Ritz and wanted something to help my sore body and I'm so thrilled Yelp helped me find this gem. It was everything I was looking for. Easy to make appointment, super clean and open waiting area, very fresh and spotless massage room. The massage, obvs, was the highlight and my muscles were so thankful. Just the right amount of pressure and my masseuse could tell where my problem areas were without even mentioning it. All of the staff were polite and professional. Yang did not know reflexology .. I lived in China ... not even sure he ever had it or knows about kneading the balls of the feet. So DON'T get reflexology. -- theirs is like a thai massage on the foot and not reflexology. BUT his back massage was pretty good and he helped with some knots. read more

I visited Chi for the first time yesterday. I opted for deep tissue massage with oil. The massage therapist did a great job relieving my shoulder pain. The price was only $60 for an hour massage. Money well spent as far as I am concerned. The only ding is due to the difficulty in communicating with therapist with limited English speaking skills. read more

I'm new to this area and was a walk in. The quality of the massage was relatively good. Be aware that there is noise in the office with other people and the rooms are open at the ceiling area. One major problem which detracted from my experience was the music stopped and started throughout my massage. I've never had that happen before. Communication is challenging and limited. read more

My wife and I had such pleasant massages at Chi Massage in Oro Valley this morning. This business is under new owners, a very pleasant young Chinese couple who have been in business for about one year. The massage tables are very comfortable and very clean in a very quiet slightly darkened room, with low, soothing background music. We both had the one hour reflexology foot massage ($35) that started with a gentle head and shoulder massage then a foot bath and massage, followed by massage on arms and hands, and topped off with a fairly extensive back massage. The masseuse asked for our preference of gentle, medium or hard massage, and was very accommodating when I requested concentration on specific spots. It was such a relaxing Sunday morning for us.
