She was great and explained each step of the facial and what it entails. The treatment table was heated, which was so nice. I had the CryoTherma's hot and cold treatment. The hot was nice and soothing, then came the cold and it was cold!! It felt like a long time but I think it was only 3 minutes of the cold. Afterwards it was a nice firming serum, mask and under eye cream. I bought the cleanser and eye cream and after a couple of weeks I noticed some of my dark spots have faded. The business was clean and bright. The treatment rooms have nice warm tables and soothing music. Besides Cryofacials, they offer Cryotherma, full body treatments.

I took the day off to R-I-C-E (rest, ice, compression, elevation). I'm all about alternative therapies :-) I had wanted to try out the Icebox for cryotherapy because I had heard it is excellent for muscle recovery and to reduce inflammation. So, on Monday morning, I headed over to St. Phillips Plaza. The Icebox is a clean, peaceful spa atmosphere. The staff is friendly, fun, and professional. The parking is abundant, but on the weekends due to the pop-up market, you may have to walk a little bit. So the first time I hobbled in, Zeke was there to give me a tour of the facility and told me how everything works. I decided to start with their intro package 2 cryotherapy sessions and 2 compression treatments. The cryo chamber is a single person size which is great since I want privacy. They provide gloves, socks, slippers and an ultra-plush robe that is so comfortable I want one for my home. You wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing in the cryo chamber but most simple wear underwear or undergarments. The changing rooms are very clean and private with locked doors and a key that you can pop into your robe pocket. Ready for treatment. The staff hand you a headband to cover your ears, a mask (optional), and gloves. The last step is choosing your temperature and music. The temperature range is Cold-to-Colder but its only 3 minutes and I can do pretty much anything for 3 minutes. The music is on spotify so you can literally pick what you want to listen to. I chose SOJA a reggae band. The song was great but i just stood there the first time and the time went by a little slow. The second time I did a podcast, the selection was random, and the womans calm slow voice was not a good fit. Thats about the time I heard that some people exercise while in doing the coldest setting. So now I pick one song I can dance/exercise to and the time flies by. Perfect!!! A couple days a week, after the cryo I do compression. Its 24 minutes of blissful relaxation reclining in a comfortable chair in front of a salt wall. Salt therapy works through the release of negative ions - yay salt! While compressing you can enjoy a hot cup of tea and even red light therapy So, what happened after my first visit? I still have tendonitis but within 12 hours I was able to walk on my leg and the inflammation is greatly reduced. I started with cold and have gradually moved up to the even colder temperature. Cryo has helped me so much! I love the Icebox and Cryo so much I purchased a monthly unlimited membership and make it a point to go everyday.

I called the next day to say I wanted to exchange it for one that was not broken. He accused me of dropping it. I told him I did not drop it. I offered to send him a photo so he could see the screws were rusted. and the base was broken and separated, and the salt lamp part was fine, he could see it was not dropped. I just wanted to exchange it for another one. He said, no, it was my problem that I dropped it. It was fine when he put in the bag. I again said I will bring it back and he can examine and see there is no evidence that it was dropped, and I would like to exchange it. He refused. I am only giving one star because I had to in order to post this experience.

My Dr. Was out of the office so I couldn't get in to be seen, bummer but everything happens for a reason So while browsing Good ol Groupon I seen the Salt room & read the following on their website sounded interesting and I'll try anything once halotherapy - uses aerosoled salt. The size of the particles is the same as in natural salt caves. When breathed in, these particles penetrate deep into the bronchial tree where the antiseptic properties of the salt can work on mucus and infections. People can experience improvement of bronchial drainage, that is, bronchial tube cleansing. salt room was developed, a room where the walls and floor are covered with salt and a halogenerator blows crushed salt particles into the room providing all the health benefits that a natural salt cave would. Well even better my little guy who is 8 has had a lingering cough & they said it's safe and perfect for children ! I was excited to hear this & so was he I guess children respond faster than adults do and let me tell you he did not cough all night !! and when we walked out of there we felt 60% better I'm not wheezing & starting to feel better this place rocks ! Give them a try The staff was friendly, clean waiting room, short wait what more can you ask for. Oh and the have an apothecary shop if your into that sort of thing

Apparently, I've got a slipped disc pressing on my root nerve--aka the source of all my current misery. Surgery's not really on the table, so I'm doing my best to heal the natural way (with a side of physical therapy). At this point, even tying my shoes feels like an Olympic event, so I'm willing to try anything that might help. I signed up for a month since it's $99 and unlimited...total no-brainer. I've done the sauna, which is amazing and private. There's even a TV in the room, so you can watch your favorite show, listen to their zen music, or (like me) blast your playlist and reflect on this next chapter in life. I also tried cryotherapy, which feels incredible and hits -100 degrees--basically the perfect follow-up to the sauna. And then there's the vibrating plate surrounded by infrared lights... that one was fun, but I couldn't stop giggling the whole time. Don't ask me why...it's just one of those things.. LOL. The service here is top-notch, and everyone is so friendly and helpful. I actually have a sauna place just five minutes from home, but I still drive 25 minutes to come here--because when you find the spot, you stay loyal. The comeback is in full swing, and once this back is healed, I'm rising as Superwoman 2.0--stronger, sharper, glowing harder than ever, and still blasting my playlist while I take on the world like it owes me something.
