If you have a dog and live in WS, you need to come here because this place is off the leash (pun intended). We came on a Saturday afternoon with our 7-month-old puppy and she was very timid, but over time some other pooches came to visit her tucked under the table and she became more open to moving out to see others...but not all the way. They have several areas for different size dogs, but most were in the open area that went into the taproom itself. Tucker's had people to wrangle the dogs if they get too excited so you can get a beer from their local tap selection and enjoy watching the pups at play. There seemed to be a number of regular people who come here and they were all cool about giving their advice to our timid puppy. The cost for the day pass was $12.00 but don't let that put you off, they take care of the dogs and the owners. It is definitely worth a visit with your dog(s).

Finally, Winston-Salem has a combination bar/off-leash dog park, and it is a dog & beer lover's dream. The taps: thoughtfully selected, diverse, and complete. The beer list is always rotating in new taps, and it is a perfect snapshot of local/NC craft beer. You can also get mixed cocktails, and they have nightly specials which I really appreciate. The bartenders are super friendly, and the space itself is well designed. The yard: clean, spacious, and FUN! Tucker's implemented a really unique and state of the art cleaning system. They've also hired regular cleaners. If your dog goes to the bathroom, you pick it up, dispose of it, and spray with a tool they have onsite. It's very effective and keeps the place very clean and odor-free. There are 3 different play yards - one designated for small dogs, one available to rent for parties, and one larger yard that a majority of people will be in. There is a ton of space for your dog to get the zoomies - my herding dog loves it. There are also tables scattered around for you to sit and sip or eat - outside food is allowed inside (for humans only), and they often have food trucks on site as well. Yard rangers are present to monitor the dogs and ensure a safe space for everyone. We love coming to Tucker's. Here are my tips as a frequent flyer: - Weekends are busier - if you want to ease your dog into this type of play environment, or if your dog tends to get overstimulated in large groups like mine can sometimes, try coming on a weeknight (we really like Wednesday evenings, for instance). - Register your dog on their website before coming to make your check-in easier at your first visit - you'll need their vaccine and spay/neuter records Have fun!

My wife loves dogs and I love bars and we love this place. It's safe and clean! Don't let the off leash dogs fool ya, they behave better than most bar guests and Tuckers staff is on their game. Both times we've visited they've had multiple employees strictly monitoring the playing dogs and anytime anything even remotely elevates they break it quickly with a cool little air whistle. This is WAY safer, cleaner, and better monitored than a dog park (or a neighboring downtown dive bar). They have a solid lineup of craft beers on tap along with some bottled wine and I believe even mixed drinks. The service is great and the prices are more than fair. They even have daily specials

I'm not sure who loves tuckers more - Me or Riley. Tuckers has indoor and outdoor space, a stocked bar, and all the pups for your dog to have the best time with. They keep the place clean even with dogs running all over the place all of the time. I hear the cocktails are delicious but haven't tried them yet. Riley gives the dog cookies (pictured below) a 4/5 stars. Hope to see you and your pup at tuckers soon so our dogs can be bff's !

Huge outdoor area with great turf.

Tucker's is a great place for pups and their humans. Good selection of drink options. The staff is excellent, very friendly and attentive.

Beer and happy playful dogs! I spent 2 hours of pure joy here. My puppy was overwhelmed and shy but I think she thought..."this is paradise". Cold good priced beers and different options of play areas for our pup. I want a membership here and come every week! Staff was very friendly and if a pack of dogs got over excited, the staff watched carefully and broke it up. I was happy to see that. This place was so clean too! They are on top of it here. Your dog will be thrilled.

Both my dog and I loved Tucker's Tap Yard! There is a lot of space indoors / outdoors it is really clean! The turf outside is awesome and ample amount of space for the dogs to run. They have paw patrols for the doggies and everyone is really friendly :) Fees: $10 for doggies during the week and $12 during the weekend. Make sure to submit your dogs vaccination reccord online before to save time going in! humans in for free! drink specials all week ‍

Tucker's is a brand new bar that opened in downtown winston. It's an indoor/outdoor off leash dog park with a full bar. The owners and staff are SO nice and help around the yard whenever they get the chance. Drinks are amazing and a good price. They also have a self serve dog wash! The yard is completely fenced in and turfed. It has tables and chairs all over the yard so you can hang out with your pup anywhere. They also have a separate small dog area for the little pups! There are poop bags and sprayers around the yard to help with output clean up. They keep the water bowls filled and put ice in them for the dogs. Logistics: Register your pet online! This saves a lot of time because all dogs are required to have updated vaccines. You pay a membership fee when bringing your dog. $10 Tue-Fri and $12 Sat-Sun. If you don't bring a dog, it's $1 per person because they do not serve food so they are required to charge a fee per NC law. They do offer membership which are listed at a fantastic price. Once your checked in and in the gates, dogs are free to roam! We will 100% be back and can't wait to see Tucker's grow!

Pretty skyline view from the yard

Tucker's is such a unique and wonderful experience for dogs and their owners alike! I am so glad this place exists. We've brought our initially shy, little dog here twice now and she's gotten much more comfortable -- we're excited to see how visit 3 goes! The yard is well taken care of and the employees are very friendly, as are the patrons and their pups. I feel very safe knowing each dog is up to date on their vaccines and that the staff has been trained to handle dogs of all temperaments. Doesn't hurt that you can enjoy a beverage with your pals while you watch your furry friends have a blast!

$10 per visit or $30 per month for unlimited visits! (pricing may change) We love tuckers, they always have a wide variety of drafts on tap. Thursdays they have been having trivia and it is always popping. Sometimes they have food trucks in the parking lot!! Your dog must have all vaccines and you need to have proof of those shots on file, and updated yearly ! You can email in advanced or just give a hard copy when you come in! Always a good time and they have employees in the yard at all time watching the dogs. They have poop stations for you to pick up after your pup. Very clean establishment !!

There was some up and down, but nothing too difficult. Both trails were mostly clearly marked. Near the end of Loop B the markings became less frequent, and at the junction of the two trails it was unclear which way to go. Other than that it was great. There is an interesting small cemetery. The trails cross small brooks in several places, with secure bridge crossings. I might choose to do just one of the loops next time, if I can figure out how to skip one of them. There is even a creek if your kids enjoy water play. The trails are paved so it's excellent for riding bikes or scooters too. The playground itself has multiple slides, swings, plenty of obstacles for the kids to climb and what I found most fascinating was the monkey bars that were toddler height! I have never seen that on a playground before so it was very appealing to me since my child enjoys them but is always in need of assistance considering they are often so high. In addition to the playground there is a basketball court, skate park and tennis court. The park seems well maintained, the bathrooms are little dated so it would be nice to see an improvement with that one day. Great place to rent an outdoor shelter for a cookout or birthday party.

And saw there was no reviews, tips, or photos. So I drove to it, passing it a couple of times before I realized, it was a dog park, on the edge of the park, across from the cemetery. Creepy. I never been to a dog park before, so I didn't know what I was looking for. It was two separate fenced in fields, about an acre each. One field is for small and older dogs. The other side was for large dogs. That's great because my puppybutt has a Napoleon complex. There were benches, waste receptacles, and water fountains inside of each. You must register before entering the park. It didn't take long to do. You can let your dog off it's leash, if you choose. I did so because there wasn't any other dogs inside the one I went into. However, you must be within ear shot of your dog, in case you need to call out to them. Kind of like a child at a playground. You want to be mindful. Most of the rules are common sense, but again, be mindful that you're not the only one there. All dogs entering must wear a collar (non spiked or choke), show tags, and rabies tags. Must be leashes entering and exited. No females dogs that are in heat. A max of 2 dogs per person. No children under the age of 16 without adult accompanied. No food, drink, or glass containers, no smoking, no alcohol, and no food are allowed inside. No aggressive dogs. I've been here a few times and it's always been pretty peaceful. Twice there weren't other small dogs present. That's probably because I went during the week, while 1st shifters were still at work. If you have a dog and are looking for a bark park, this one is a pretty good one to visit. Haven't had a bad experience yet and my dog seems to love the space.
