Beautiful dog park with lots of shady spots and fresh water. This is a great spot as it is nicely maintained.

This is probably my favorite dog park I've ever visited! It is huge, and the views are stunning…read more There is so much space for dogs to run and play. There are several different fenced in areas available for the dogs, technically a small dog area, big dog area, and (sort of unspoken rule) a play area for dogs who like to roughhouse more. Picnic tables, benches, and a gazebo exist. There are also poop stations and water buckets for the dogs to drink from (and some of them to splash in). The only downside about this park is it isn't free - membership is required for residents and guests alike (check the website for more info). That said, it's worth the cost to let your dog run free. Plus, this place is ran and operated by the local humane society. There's nothing funnier to me than seeing my dog emerge from the bottom of the hill and run all the way back up to see me at the top.

So lord oh lord, don't even THINK about going here on a whim, or if you're traveling through town. Be prepared to jump through more hoops than your dog will just to get in to a grass field. Unreal.

Over some relatively smooth grass, so not completely handicapped accessible. Entrance to the park requires registration with the City of Davidson Police Department where you'll be required to bring a copy of the rabiest vaccination certificate. Inside the fully enclosed park, there are water fountains, shaded areas, places for the humans to sit and even a hiking trail and natural area. It's really pretty darned cool. A few folks have left doggie toys for play. [Review 13409 overall, 728 of 2020.]

You end up with community gardens, childrens play area, nice quiet area to sit and reflect and a very nice dog park. Lexi (Welsh Corgi) and I went to explore today Took a bit of hunting plus a GPS to find the park but well worth it. Ample parking, nice double gate to get in, tennis balls for our furry friends, picknic tables and sitting areas for the humans and a big water dish. Unfortunately it had just stopped raining when we got her so there were no dogs for Lexi to play with. Nice facility otherwise. Strongly suggest as a different place to bring your friendly canine

On top of that, one of the baseball fields was being used for little league play and they were going all out. The park has two picnic shelters with tables and grills, a tennis court, basketball court, batting cages, restrooms, splashpad and two playgrounds. One of the playgrounds is named after Zahra Baker and I'd suggest you not go look up that name. The park is handicapped accessible including some of the rides. The four baseball fields are lighted. Parking was very limited today with lots of parents bringing their kids and hanging out. I managed to find a legal spot in front of a home on a cross street. Don't block driveways or fire hydrants! There are plenty of shaded areas surrounding the park and plenty of parking spaces. This park is not local for us otherwise it would definitely be a part of our weekly park rotation. If you're nearby though and have some rambunctious kiddies, this is the place to take them.
