    Chorizo Cachapa

I have been here a few times and have been a fan of the all-meat cachapas. However, I decided to go for the chorizo one; honestly, it didn't hit the same. It was still good, but to enjoy a cachapa you need to get shredded meat or anything close to it.

My love for cachapas birthed in Chile and I have been looking for it here in NYC and have found it! Definitely order without the ketchup! Got the pollo cachapa and it was big enough to share! Though the corn wasn't as sweet as I would like, it was still delicious. They have the patacon (with plantains) as well and it's something I've yet to try. Definitely a place I would go back to! Place is small with like 3 tables so it's probably easier to do take out. They were quick!

I wouldn't even give them the one star but didn't have a choice. Found a roach inside the juice. Didn't noticed until I got home. Disgusting.

I craved some snack at late night so tried to find some place that still open. I ordered dominicana tacucho which is good also ordered some empanadas and some Venezolanos tequeyoyos but i got mozzarella stick insteaded .... sadly overall this place is good, my new snack spot.

Tiny establishment that delivers big. Tried cachapa for the first time.. couldn't decide between the cheeses so I got one of each - mozzarella and fried cheese - with my chicken and avocado cachapa sandwiched between fresh corn cakes. This doesn't get enough love as the more popular Venezuelan snack arepa but should be on everyone's radar. Also tried the chicha, a thick sweet milky drink, and the tres leche cake. The cake was weak, but everything else was tasty and satisfying. The cachapa is my new love!

The food was alright. The arepas are fried and didn't seem typical to Venezuelan arepas I've had in the past but it was a good quick stop for some tasty food! It's a very small interior and the presentation isn't amazing but the food was good enough. I would go here again on my own but I probably wouldn't recommend to anyone visiting from out of town as it isn't a special place and there isn't anything extraordinary about it. The juice was great!

Usually order from this place but today I ordered a tacucho and they sent it burnt. Bummer because I was really looking forward for it. Over all it's a good place to get some food.

Nasty a$$ cachapa. No flavor and raw! It used to be a good place few years ago. I spent $15 for nothing

Horrible service! The food is mediocre at its best, I recommend you to avoid this attempt of a restaurant.

I was never a big fan of arepas. I've tried them a handful of times and wasn't particularly wow'ed…read more I assumed perhaps this specific dish wasn't my thing, but after trying this cafe, I realized that I simply haven't tried good arepas before! My friend and I came for a late lunch on Tuesday. There were plenty of seats available, and we were seated close to the entrance. The staff was friendly, and our server in particular was clearly passionate about Venezuelan cuisine and was excited for us try to their dishes. My friend ordered their pulled pork arepa, and I ordered one of their rice plates. The arepa was filled to the brim. It was full of beans, meat, and topped with cheese. My plate was absolutely delicious and its aroma filled the restaurant. The meat was tender, well seasoned, and saucy. The plantains were pan fried to perfection, tender and sweet. The beans were flavorful. I could have just that with rice all day. Writing this review is making my mouth water. Maybe I should return there soon!

Food: solid 8/10 Service: 8/10…read more My only reason for the 3 star review is because this establishment charges gratuity without informing the person. There is clearly a tip option at the bottom so I ended up paying double tip. It is common practice for the restaurant to inform the consumer when they do this.
