Boba slush was great but I was very disappointed when I wanted three flavors in one drink and they would not allow me to do as such. I was willing to pay extra and they continued to say no. Their bubble tea is okay, it satisfies my craving but I have definitely tasted better bubble tea. Most of their stuff is powder and syrup based and sometimes you can definitely tell. The only place you should be buying boba on campus. They have so many flavors. This is a good place to go when the boba cravings kick in. I have tried so much of the menu during my time at VCU. My favorites are the Royal Milk, Thai Iced Tea, and Mango Slush. The only thing is that they all are made from powders. They are pretty quick unless they run out of the bubbles. Then it takes awhile. They are the most unreliable store in the city of Richmond if not in the entire country, it's always hit or miss because they don't operate during business hours even its stated on their door. They are in business because there is no competition for bubble teas on campus but if someone opens a new store and just be opened on time they will do very well. read more

I love this place! I've had bubble tea many times but TT Lounge is the best so far! Tons of flavors- my fave is Taro but the milk tea is also delicious! I've tried several different flavors and never been dissappointed.They always provide quick and friendly service. I don't know if it's totally vegan, but the fruity slushes with boba are a good dairy free option. It's so much better than a slurpee or sorbet. The milk teas are so delcious but super rich, sweet, and thick so don't go overboard or you might barf. But it's worth it. read more

I frequent TT Lounge weekly with friends and my personal favorites are the Jasmine milk tea or the Royal Milk Tea Slush. I've been to a ton of different local bubble tea shops and nothing has even come close in quality or flavor. As long as it's open it will be the only place I trust for bubble tea. First, I asked if they could add two flavored to a boba tea because some places let you. She rudely says no and gives me trouble. All she had to say was "sorry we don't do that here." Then I just asked for regular slush boba tea with one flavor and after what seemed like an hour later, she hands me an iced version. So I nicely say, "I asked for a slushed version, not iced." None of the flavors are the best I have ever had, but they sure do have a lot of choices. Some of the flavors are very sweet, like the Almond and Thai Iced Tea, while the Jasmine Milk tea, usually a universal go to for me, was very plain. The boba itself is a good to excellent texture, and the people there have been nice and polite across multiple visits. The location itself feels a bit cramped in its layout, and since there is a short wait time on each drink, the crowd can build up. This boba tea is 10x better than Kung fu tea in quality, taste, customer service and over all experience. 2 boba teas at king fu tea are over $10 while two of the same ones at TT lounge are less then $9 and have better taste because everything is homemade. Just went to MoJo for lunch with my friends and swing by to TT-Lounge for a drink. Never been there. I've heard their Boba is great. So I try it and it was Awsome!! We got the Mango slush/boba and my friends got Apple ,Raspberry/Lemon, Taro slush and Royal Milk. They taste delicious!!! Coming from Virginia beach I was excited to find a place that sold boba tea. Don't get me wrong the tea is awesome at this place. What I have a issue is the lack of customer the older lady gives. We come all over for tea yet she has a rude attitude. She doesn't let you add extra boba that you're willing to pay for. I would come here more often if she wasn't so uptight and ignore customers.
