The main appeal, the rotating sushi belt, was a huge hit! My son was super stoked and absolutely loved the novelty of picking exactly what he wanted right off the conveyor. It certainly makes for a fun, interactive family meal. The Food While the concept is great, the quality was a bit lacking for my wife and me. We found the flavors weren't punchy or vibrant enough to really stand out. Best Roll: The Ponzu Citrus Roll was my favorite, offering a nice, bright flavor. Good Option: The fried options, like the Fried Jalapeño Popper Roll, were generally tasty, but still felt a bit typical or "boring." Skip: My least favorite was the Mango Roll. Bland, no flavor but coconut and rice. Service & Atmosphere On the bright side, the service was excellent. Our server was very nice and was super on top of drink refills, which we really appreciated throughout the meal. The design and overall vibe inside the restaurant were also nice and pleasant. I wanted to do 3.5 stars but rounding up to 4. Food was good. Service was good. Really cool interior, I lived in Japan and I recognized a lot of the signs, etc. They put a lot of effort into that and I appreciate it. They even have gocha machines in the front. But it's sushi, so it's expensive, but I can't fault them for that. I'd come again, but I would definitely not be hungry when I come. read more

We had a really good first experience here. Their waitlist system where you check in on yelp work very well for us on a Friday night, party of five. The belt was fairly full the entire time. Such a cool vibe in Utah county. Wow, what a unique and interactive dining experience. I've been eyeing this place for a while, so glad I tried it. Walking in the decor is so fun with cool lighted Japanese signs all over. You can order from the iPad on the table. Or grab a dish as they whiz by on a conveyor belt. (They are fresh and each plate is microchipped so they only stay on there a short time) The plates are perfectly sized. And if you're someone like me who's kind of picky, you don't have to get stuck with a whole sushi role you don't like. The plates are smaller so you're able to try so many different unique tastes. There are mild to bold flavors and love that many of them are healthy. Prices are unbeatable too. My go to faves are 1. Coconut Shrimp Mango roll 2. Tsubane roll 3. Vegas roll 4. Spicy California roll (it's very mildly spicy) 5. Aonori Fries with dipping sauce 6. Tempura fried mango dessert Omgg this is sooo good! 7. This is such a fun place to eat for date or with the family. The sushi comes around on the belt or you can order things that come right to you as well. I love that when I am done I can press a button for my check and it comes quickly. Never have an empty drink for long. Citrus ponzu is a must. If you're not as into sushi they have great desert and pot stickers or they have rice with chicken and sauce it's on the tablet. The chicken in that is so yummy and crispy and tender inside. I have been here every week for the past month! They recently changed their prices to $3.39 per plate which is a great deal. They are usually pretty busy during dinner time but the food comes out fast, so I have never had to wait that long for a table. I have tried all of the salmon nigiri and my favorites are the spicy salmon nigiri, citrus salmon nigiri, and aburi salmon nigiri. The salmon here is good and fresh. The tuna is kind of tough so I have not tried anymore of their tuna. I also like the tempura shrimp and steak roll which is a deep fried roll. The chicken kara - age is super tender and so good! The decor here is super cool, I felt like I was in a Japanese subway station. The staff is super friendly. read more

When I say we had to turn the car around, we literally had to turn the car around . Saw the sign that said "Revolving Sushi" and we knew we had to go try. Super cute when walking in. It's like we were in a Japan subway. They had cute toy machines up front by the register. Warning - the token for them was a bit pricey but the items were cute and worth it. I believe it was $3.50 each? The first time we went, they had different prices based on type of plate you grabbed. The second time, which was a few days ago, everything was $3.39 a plate. I've attached a picture of the menu BEFORE they changed it to $3.39 a plate. Each plate of sushi is about 4pcs aside from nigiri which is 2pcs. You can wait for the sushi to come around and you can also order what you want off the menu on the iPad at the table. They have a good variety. The fries are soo good! They were so sweet to make a special request roll for my daughter. We entered on the iPad a California roll but in the comment section asked for only avocado and rice. They even put it on the cheapest plate (before the menu change). We will be back. It's actually pretty cheap. We had 15 plates and a hot tea. Total was about $55. read more

I've been here 4-5 times over the past year and it's never disappointed me. The sushi tastes fresh and the conveyor belt feature means you're never waiting long for some options to roll by. This last visit, we ran into a situation where we were sitting after a large group so the conveyor belt options were really limited once they'd taken their picks, I'd never relied on the iPad feature so much but it was surprising how fast the ordered rolls would come out, and they were fresher too so our experience was not diminished at all. Whoever is in the back is working HARD. It's a busy environment and the train station decor/sounds are really fun, so even when the restaurant is on the emptier side, it doesn't feel too slow and quiet, it's just been really enjoyable every time I've gone. I love a good conveyor belt sushi joint. As far as such establishments go this is average. A few of these rolls are too sweet or mayo-heavy. My favorite thing here, which I take off the belt multiple times a night is the deep-fried mochi. It is a delight. We ordered a lot of things that arrived by train and if you don't get it off immediately they yell at you. I get that you have other customers, but let me finish my sentence. read more

We loved this place! Our favorite part is we were not stuck with one roll typically we share three rolls at a normal sushi bar, but here we got to try like five or six and then some apps since the portions are smaller. It's such a fun concept and has me feeling like a kid the whole time. We especially loved the subway theme decor made it fun to look around. The one thing that was a little weird was the tipping subject. While you have a server to refill waters, they aren't there for much else besides paying too. I think that the tips should go to the cooks over anything. Just something we got to talking about when it came time to pay. I ate a few different sushi rolls that were on the rotating track but I mainly ordered from the menu on the iPad! I got to say the sushi is okay here, the experience really is what makes this restaurant. I liked every roll I got but it wasn't anything crazy. I also thought it was a little pricy when their was only 3 pieces on the plate. I would definitely only order rolls with 4 pieces to get a little bit more food. Very underwhelming. If you're like me who is a foodie at heart, you'd be excited to find out that we finally got a revolving sushi place. I got in my car and drove 45 mins south...it really isn't worth the drive. When first stepping in, it very themed. It's like you've been teleported to the busy parts of Japan. There's signs everywhere to look like the bustling parts of Tokyo. A tv that only shows ghibli movies. Now for the disappointing part, the food. It's pretty cool seeing the sushi rotates around. And if there's something else you would want specifically but don't want to wait, you can always order it on the iPad and it will arrive via "bullet train" directly to your table. The sushi we got was decent. Most of it was falling apart already even before we picked it up. The bun was overly sweet - slightly more like a Chinese cha siu bun instead of a Japanese meat bun. The fried chicken was good. It was freshly fried so be careful of burning your mouth, and the dipping sauce is yummy. This place is worth a try if you're in the area, but it's not worth going out of your way to try. read more

This was such a cool and fun place to be! The atmosphere was totally amazing and inside decor was spectacular. The seating was very comfortable as well. The employees where very nice and even helped us get a phone that dropped underneath the seat. They smiled and were even having a fun time in the back. However, the occasional loud crashing sounds from dishes out whatever falling was a bit disturbing. The food was pretty good and some plates are hit and miss with quality but over all it was great. The theme here is cool, the decor is rad, the service was outstanding (shoutout Joseph) but sadly the food just lets it down. Look, 8 had reasonable expectations going in. This is not meant to be tsunami, Tona, Sapa level quality, but I also don't expect it to be SushiYa either. Math some math real quick and with their new flat rate "every plate is $3.40", it's about $1.14 per piece. At some fancy pants place, it's around $1.50 a piece? Perhaps too close together in price for the mismatch in food quality? Go for the kids! Go for the fun factor, go for the great service...set reasonable expectations for the food :) read more
