Sushi bar

Top notch service and very clean establishment. We tried a couple sushi items off the menu and they were good but the sushi selection on the cold bar was awesome. Many items were unique and delicious too. The hot bar was limited but very good. I particularly liked the shrimp and scallops. Bummed that they just had spring rolls and not egg rolls. Very good lunch option if you are hungry!

First time coming here and it did not disappoint! Wow, I was very impressed. We came on a Saturday evening and our party of 4 was seated right away. Our waitress took excellent care of us. The restaurant was very clean. I appreciated the open kitchen concept as well, so you could see your sushi being made. For $33 a person, you can get unlimited sushi and buffet (the milk teas are included too!). The buffet had some good authentic offerings. The braised pork was tasty and I enjoyed the gyoza. They have a large selection of fresh seafood as well. I also enjoyed the crab legs dipped in the warm butter. The wagyu and unagi fresh rolls were also super tasty. The sushi was the highlight. The firecracker and the Lexie rolls were my favorite. They had so much flavor from the smoked salmon. The rolls were good quality and very fresh for an all you can eat. We tried a few other rolls as well that were very tasty. I would definitely recommend Sukiya and will be returning!

We got two lunch buffets and everything was fresh and so tasty! I will definitely be coming back here when I have a craving for sushi and sashimi! The server was so sweet and everyone we had contact with there was just so nice! I also loved the atmosphere the golden tree in the parking lot was a nice Asian touch! I have zero negative to say about our experience here at all!

This was a fun experience! Great atmosphere and lots of variety. We tried about 8-9 different rolls and we liked all but one. They have savory and sweet options. The sushi wasn't the highest quality but it was all you can eat. Something for everyone to try on the buffet from sushi to hot dishes. Staff and service was excellent. Liked that the milk teas and drinks were included.

Firecracker specialty sushi! Pretty good! Service was great too!

The food was great! There was so much to try and the quality was really good. The sashimi was really fresh. All the specialty sushi was tasty, the hot food section was impressive, and the dessert included milk tea! The service was great! Everyone was helpful and friendly! The restaurant was really clean and the bathrooms were clean too! Even had mouthwash! Definitely would recommend! And I'd definitely return!

Here is an updated review. It has been about 5 months and then now again 9-10 months since my first visit on my birthday in February. The 5 months after my birthday husband and I went just ourselves on our way home from a trip, we were starving and just wanted good food. Remembering back in Feb. that this place was really good we decided to try it again. We couldn't even finish our food before we.........got sick... it was so sad! We both left feeling super ill and nauseous. We said we would never try again, however fast forward to Christmas where only Asian places are open and no one wants to cook, my family decided let's go here. Being another 5/6 months down the road we thought oh it would be fine. Nope. This time however I was the only one who walked out feeling sick. I will not be going back. It is not fun at all paying over $100 just to get sick....TWICE!! We think that the sushi and meat that is on the buffet may dip into danger temps hence the sickness.Maybe if you stick with the made to order rolls you wouldn't get sick because that's what my husband did and he didn't get sick. Anyways, sorry for the long review, but yes my family will not be back it is very expensive for what you get.

Rainbow roll, spider roll, playboy roll and tempura shrimp.

Excellent service. The sushi rolls we ordered were fresh and tasty. The buffet items were plentiful. The atmosphere was fun. Outstanding value for what they offered!

10 minutes before my server came to take my order and 20 minutes before I got my first sushi roll is completely ridiculous.

The food is prepared fresh when you order, and the flavors are just outstanding. From the awesome onigiri, to the donburi, and even the mugicha (when they have it), it's all so, so good. The family is so inviting and helpful. It reminds me quite a bit of the Japanese restaurants I ate in growing up or when I visited Japan as a young adult: great food, clean and simple place, reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff. What more could you want, really?

Super friendly and Don greets every customer in Japanese and as they leave the establishment. Open kitchen right behind so you can see K in action. They also have onigiri but due to the busy lunch rush weren't able to make any to order. Everything is cooked to order, flavors are exactly what you'd want and expect. I got the katsudon with eggs. Crispy pork cutlet and flavorful eggs on top of perfectly cooked rice. I added an order of kaarage cause fried chicken. Everything is very reasonably priced, surprisingly for this day and age of overpriced menu items. This is a hidden gem in Utah.

There is something about cooking your own food at the table, at exactly the temperature you want, in exactly the amount you want, that turns a meal into an experience worth repeating. The concept is all you can eat Korean style tabletop grilling with two menu options. The Umami Buffet Experience covers a generous selection of quality meats, and the Full Premium Experience adds New York strip steak, Japanese short ribs, lamb, tri tip, shrimp, calamari, and cow tongue. We ordered one of each to compare. Honest verdict: the regular buffet holds its own and the premium upgrade did not justify the price difference enough to order it again next time. The table sauces are worth exploring. The roasted sesame is my personal favorite, but the miso apple and garlic shoyu are both worth trying alongside your meat. A selection of vegetables comes with the grill as well. One welcome improvement since my last visit: the ventilation setup has been redesigned so the smoke no longer follows you home in your clothes for the rest of the evening. A small thing that makes a real difference. The time limit is around three hours, which is more than enough. Forty minutes at the grill was plenty for us. Now for the honest part. The cold buffet side needs work. The spring rolls were a miss, the Hawaiian mac salad was forgettable, and the only sushi option was a California roll that did not taste fresh. For a restaurant that executes the grilling experience this well, the appetizer and salad bar deserve more attention. Four stars for the meat, the experience, and the improved ventilation. Come hungry, focus on the grill, and set your expectations accordingly for everything else on the buffet.

Cons: Not a good selection- they make more Tuna Rolls than any other fish No Fresh Wasabi option- only the paste The Unagi is normally fall apart tender, our we had to actually chew it.. rubbery, And water isn't just given, you have to ask for it a few times The Yellow Tail with Mango- not good Pros... I normally order the Philly- here they use smoked salmon which is NOT used to make this.. so order with traditional salmon, tastes 100% better For two of us with soda our bill was $115 For two people.. not Four.. we didn't want to wait till 9pm "happy hour" for the 50% sweet deal... it's a joke in the wall spot for locals that feel this is good sushi, when it's actually not..
