It'a a shame they allowed an incompetent waiter to serve there. I came here on my birthday and it was an hour before closing. we had ordered 2 ramen bowls. Apparently it had been forgotten to be put on the list and I never got my ramen. the waiter Andrew said that next time the ramen would be "on the house" and so I came back a couple weeks later to redeem what he had said. I came back to redeem the ramen, and we kept checking with the waiter Andrew, and he said it was free, it was free, right up until the bill came out and he then said it wasn't..... it was a blatant lie. At the same time, I had ordered their "sushi on fire" and the same waiter Andrew thought it would be funny to play with the fire, and in doing so, flung some alcohol at me and burned a hole in my pants. Absolutely childish. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COME TO THIS PLACE WITH CHILDISH LIARS AS SERVERS. Absolutely horrible experience. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN.
The servers were pleasant and worked quickly. The inside was very spacious with a lot of seating, so it wasn't too loud even though there were a lot of people. There was also zero wait time despite it being 7 PM on a Saturday. Out of the 3 rolls I ordered, I would say the Rainbow Roll was the best! I also ordered the Playboy and Grand Canyon Roll, which were okay, but the Rainbow Roll was the most flavorful and the individual pieces were larger in size and contained more filling on the inside. My friend ordered the udon and said she enjoyed it. Overall, I would definitely come back!
I thought the sushi was incredible and I got the Romeo and Juliet and The Lion King and the Romeo and Juliet was my favorite. I liked the atmosphere and everything was clean and the service and staff were very kind and quick.
First time trying this place. We came for my birthday. I had to get the tempura veggies and they didn't disappoint. Very crispy and crunchy and they came with a yummy sauce. All of their sushi rolls were so good and really unique. The rolls we tried were the California roll, playboy, Romeo & Juliet, firebird and Dracula. The Dracula is served in a steaming coffin. The firebird was my favorite. They bring it wrapped in foil and light it on fire. The Romeo & Juliet comes in the shape of a heart. This place is very fun. They also have awesome bento boxes.
The food quality is good, but I think the prices are a tad high or maybe the portions are a bit lacking considering the prices for the sushi. The service was friendly. I'd recommend it and in my book a three * * * 3 star "ok" review is a good enough one, that has a few helpful hints to earn more stars.
If you're ever in Orem or visiting Provo, stop by Itto Sushi for a quick bite. We popped in during our visit, and were very impressed. We started with the Kill Bill roll, jalapeño, cilantro, spicy crab, tempura shrimp, all topped with tuna--delicious. The presentation was on point too. The Godzilla roll--shrimp tempura, cucumber, and a crab salad topping. My favorite! The atmosphere here is modern, clean, and trendy, right in the heart of the university scene. And the sake? Absolutely delicious and just what I needed! Service was prompt and on point, making the experience even better. Itto Sushi is a definite must-visit. Highly recommend!

This is my first time coming alone for lunch and I was seated quickly, someone came to take my order in less than 5 minutes and both of my rolls were put very quickly. Parking wasn't too crazy either. Would definitely come back during lunch time. Today wasn't too hectic but not sure if other days are. My waiter was super nice and attentive as well. Definitely recommend!
A great spot for a casual meet-up with friends! The sushi/food quality was great, and our server was attentive. Clean environment, is located close to shops, and will def satisfy your sushi cravings. The price is decent and the sushi/plates were wonderfully plated and presented well.
itto never disappoints. My husband, son of my went here for lunch on Father's Day after their round of Golf. We had three rolls, mixed tempura, Gyoza, and muscle shooters (big fan of these). It was excellent fresh flavors were perfect, perfectly balanced.. so delicious! read more
This place is just okay. Sadly, I just don't get the positive reviews. It's fine. Not bad but not the best. The miso soup was soooo salty. The sushi, although it has flavor, lacks a decent amount of fish and it seems to really skimp on that compared to other sushi restaurants. Itto is okay to me maybe once a year whenever a friend or family member wants to go, but there definitely is better sushi in the valley. read more

We've been to the Itto Sushi in downtown SLC a few times and loved it. We decided to try their Orem location at University Place. It started with a friendly greeting "Irrashaimase!!" The decorations and set up of the dinning area was great. I prefer it over the slc location. Prompt service and attention immediately after we were seated. It was quite busy for a Monday. The servers engagement and service were amazing. We ordered 5 rolls, nigiri platter, and miso soup. We didn't wait long at all. The rolls were neatly made and presented quite nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed the flavor and freshness. All together from the beginning to the end of our meal was top notch. We were even presented with a fried banana ice cream and mochi ice cream on the house. If it couldn't get any better. I recommend Itto sushi all day. Check them out after 5pm during the week for happy hour discount rolls. Thank you for a fantastic experience. read more

Had a bento box - gyoza (good) , tempura (good), spicy California roll (drowned in crunchy stuff that tasted soft, bland). Enjoyed dressing on salad. Staff friendly, food came quickly. Lots of parking with convenient outside mall location. read more

I'm from out of town, and I love sushi and noodles, also with good service! Itto Sushi had an overwhelming menu of delicious choices for sushi, with fantastic service. The ambiance was very modern, with fun music that wasn't too loud. The bill wasn't bad either, I might add. When I'm in town, I'll be stopping by again. read more

Awful lunch service. I've been here many times but came back for lunch on a Saturday. There were only a few other tables seated, but felt ignored. We were seated right away and waited 20 mins for our water and another 20 mins for our food. Our waiter was not attentive to our table at all, and we had to ask him to bring us our bill. He brought us our bill with a different amount, and also didn't bring a pen for us to sign it. Worst service I've had here so far! read more

This sushi is so good that we ate literally every roll before I could even get a single picture. We came here for a birthday, so we had quite a large party. A few things were absolutely TOP NOTCH: 1. The service. I mean, serving a 15-person party is always stressful for a server but ours absolutely nailed it. She was kind, attentive, and extremely efficient. Bella, if you're reading this, keep up the good work and THANK YOU! 2. THE FOOD!!!!!! Hands down, this is the best sushi place in Utah and I will stand by that until the day I die. Fresh fish, light and crispy tempura......it's just absolutely incredible stuff. I'm crying happy tears right now just thinking about it. 3. The space. They do surprisingly well with a high ceiling. It was pretty busy when we came but it wasn't unbearably loud. The decor is beautiful as well and lifts the vibe immensely! 4. They have happy hour from 5-9 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when a lot of their rolls are half off......this should go without saying, but that's just plain beautiful. Alright. If you've made it this far, your reward is my recommendation: GET THE ROMEO AND JULIET. TRY THE NIGIRI. You will not be disappointed. 5 Stars the food and service were excellent I found the restaurant on Groupon and used a 50 percent off which was a steal. The sushi rolls were really good but my favorite was the salmon Kama. I came back 3 times and ordered the dish lots to eat. I'll be back read more

My gosh - I'm just mad I haven't been to this place sooner!! It is AMAZING!! We have been looking for a sushi place that is high quality and I would 11/10 recommend Itto. The Firebird (not pictured) and the 911 come out in tin foil and ON FIRE. You get sushi with the delicious smoky flavor of bbq. To die for!! We also loved the Vampire so much. It had baby lobster tails on it! I mean - it was so unique and so delicious!! Do yourself a favor - try this place. Get Firebird. Your life will be changed. read more
Okay so I'm a big sushi fan and I wanted to try somewhere new and this place had good reviews so we gave it a shot tonight! First, out the gate we were promptly seated which is always a plus. The space was really open so it was a little loud. Our server was super sweet and attentive so definite points there. Now onto the food, we always like to start our sushi meals with edamame. Sadly they didn't have any to offer us. A couple other pet peeves my water glass was empty quite a bit but the staff was all very friendly and happy to help when asked for something. Okay cool here's a play by play of the rolls we ordered. Traditional Salmon: basically what you would expect salmon with rice wrapped in seaweed. The fish was average. I've had better but I've had worse. Unagi roll: eel, avocado, rice, and seaweed. I don't like avocado so I substituted with cucumber. A couple of the bites had bones in them. That's really disappointing to me. It wasn't prepped properly before cooking. Vegas roll: excellent roll here! I thought the spicy Mayo was a little too much but if you love spice like my friend does it will be perfect for you! Itto roll: great seasoning and okay with the fish. I didn't have this one so it's hard to say but that's the feedback I got. Finally the best for last, the Mars roll! SOOO good! We ended up getting a second order of it because we liked it so much. As per usual we got it without avocado and substituted for cucumber. On our second roll they forgot this substitution and I have to say it was not good with it. Even my friend who likes avocado agreed it completely didn't work with the red tuna and shrimp tempura. It was so sweet and didn't taste good at all. So I recommend making the swap here even if you're an avocado fan! It was the true hit of the night. I would come here again especially since they have happy hour so for all 6 rolls it was less than $50. The quality was good not great but definitely better than others in Utah. Worth a trip for sure. read more

They key to Itto is to go on the days that fish has been delivered fresh. The last time I heard, the toro arrives on Tuesday, and Tuesday evening is when we usually go. Have you ever had fish so good, so flavorful, so fatty that is melts in your mouth like A5 wagu? That is what fresh toro is like at Itto. Not only that, they give you real wasabi with this special dipping sauce. It is so important to have real wasabi with sushi. The perfect umami blend to go with that fatty, melt in your mouth raw fish. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I've never been disappointed with Itto. In my opinion, it is the top sushi joint in Utah. read more
Loved the sushi there! The atmosphere was fun and they played music from all different genres. I thought the price for the quantity and quality for the rolls was good. My only complaint is the service wasn't the best. Our waiter wasn't very attentive (it wasn't that busy), he wasn't able to give us suggestions on what to get and he had a shift change without saying anything. Pretty good sushi and cute roll decoration. It was pretty busy but the service was still great. The food was more expensive than other comparable sushi places, but the quality was good enough for the price. Best to have a reservation or you'll have to wait a while! read more
