Wow, Computer Antics just came over to my place and now my laptop is actually working better than…read morewhen I first bought it. My laptop came with Windows Vista and is about three years old, so there are a lot of programs on it slowing it down. The tech that came by really helped me out by telling me what programs I am safe to uninstall and which programs I need to keep. For example, I had three virus programs running at the same time (AVG, Norton, and McAfee). He uninstalled them and replaced them with a free light (and better) anti-virus software. He also downloaded another anti-spyware program (also free) that caught three spyware files that my other spyware software never picked up. I had never had a tech come to my place because I always thought the service seemed expensive, but this tech was able to do so much in so little time that it was definitely worth the price. EXCELLENT VALUE! :) Besides the services completed above, he set up an encryption on my wireless network. He also linked another laptop I had that I was never able to connect. That was the laptop with the camera and now I can finally Skype my family overseas. Lastly, he demonstrated to me how to connect my computer to my TV so I can watch YouTube, Hulu, and other free programing. He even gave me the VGA cable for free. All this was done in a little more than an hour. Definitely call Computer Antics if you have problems with your computer. These guys honest, personable, and get the work done quickly.

I searched online for Tech Support in San Diego and then contacted several firms. Some were not responding to voice mail messages and, when we eventually spoke, had high rates and long lead times before a tech could be sent to my office. John Airy of On-Site Techs returned my call almost immediately, has reasonable rates and could see me the next day. Once John assessed the time for transfer of data from computer to computer, he recommended saving time by taking the two laptops to his location to complete the data transfer. He then was willing to return on a holiday to adjust the views on the new computer to my familiarity so that I could function for the next work day. John is extremely knowledgeable, proficient and efficient. He communicated well to explain how views could be adjusted and he made good suggestions without tying to upsell programs. He has an excellent professional manner. I intend to retain the services of On-Site Techs as my local source for any of my computer issues. John is simply outstanding for his business performances.

Fast forward to about a month ago where I closed my laptop lid and CRACK - something happens where basically the bezel, back over, and hinge gets damaged to the point where it looks like I ripped it apart when I open my laptop back up. Tried to fix it and somehow made it worse by messing up the screen and man, I've done my fair share of taking computers apart before but I wasn't going to mess with my laptop after this series of unfortunate events. Cue Eric! I reached out to a couple of repair guys for a quote and Eric gave me the best one AND the hope that my laptop could be saved (I had a couple others tell me it wasn't worth the fix; mind you, my computer itself worked fine still - I just had to plug in an external monitor to get anything productive done). He was timely with messages, and even let me know that some parts were missing for repair and ordered it for me. His quote was reasonable in comparison to the cost of a brand new laptop and now that I've had it back for a couple weeks; I can honestly say it feels brand new. Appreciate his quickness and his expertise, would definitely come back for any silliness I encounter with computers down the road. Thanks, Eric!

Edit 2: oh so you didn't lie about talking to me you just so overwhelmed you couldn't remember all the people that you spoke to which is why you said you didn't speak to me. And you're not dishonest you are incompetent because you had to quote a much more expensive repair instead of doing quick repair. Makes sense considering you are so overwhelmed with business that you would immediately try and push a longer more expensive repair instead of a quick JB weld job. People if you do business with this man you deserve what you get.
