I know a lot of boba places I've been are rly small inside and hard to find a seat and then on top of it you don't rly want to dine in. It was my first time every trying a Tsaocaa and I was pretty impressed. Their boba text was amazing and their milk teas aren't really that sweet. I usually get my drinks at 25-30% sugar but I wished it was slightly sweeter. I got the osmanthus oolong milk tea and the peach milk oolong tea. The taste was pretty prominent and I really liked how they have unique flavors compare to a lot of boba places I've been to in Georgia. I also got their mango pudding and it was very delicious. I wish I'd gotten more. The mango fruit on top was very sweet, but the pudding isn't, so the taste paired well together. Lastly, I love the ambience and decoration of this place. Cute boba shop! I like the aesthetics of Tsaocaa from their branding to the shop's interior. They definitely have a lot of photo opportunities, but due to COVID-19 precautions, some of those spots have been blocked off. I tried the brown sugar bubble milk, mango purée bubble milk, and matcha egg waffle. I enjoyed everything but nothing left a lasting enough impression on me to distinguish this place from other boba spots. To be honest, I've had better brown sugar milk drinks from other shops. The boba pearls were not of my preference either--they weren't that chewy or flavorful. This was my first time trying out an egg waffle and I liked it. The waffle was fluffy yet crispy and I liked how it was handheld, making it easy to eat on the go. In the future, I hope to come back and try more things on their menu to see if I have a better experience. We needed a quick little and light treat to end the work week so decided to try out Tsaocaa. How do you even say Tsaocaa? Goodness we are going to a place I don't even know how to say. Lol. I had to look up on the way how to say that Tsaocaa = tsao-cha "Cha" in Chinese Means tea! That was okay as we we were really planning to get it to go. The first thing you definitely notice with the interior is Pink and White theme. If there weren't pictures of the bubble milk teas, drinks or food..you might think you stepped into a Pink Themed Princess party! We ordered: Blueberry Green Tea with Milk Foam $6.25 + Amber Bubble $0.50 + Strawberry Boba $0.50 - Sweet and light the taste wasn't overbearing. Hong-Kong Style Egg Waffle $4.50 - This was our Favorite! Light and Airy and the texture of the bubbles in the waffles was unique. Almost like a light Belgian waffle with bubble texture and shaped cone like. For the price you get a generous portion but beware it is made fresh and to order so takes time. Tip: If you order the Hong-Kong Style Egg Waffle, pull it bubble by bubble to eat. It makes it appear to last longer (which you'll appreciate because it goes fast once you start eating it since it is sooo good! ;) Would have given Tsaocaa higher than 4 stars but we were only the second order in the shop and it took a little over 15 minutes to get our Waffle. We really enjoy your coconut slush but there is a recurring problem with the drinks having chunks of ice in them. I can tell by the noise of the blender that it isn't completely breaking down the ice. Maybe your blender jar needs more frequent replacement or the workers need to be more patient and allow time for the ice to blend. Also, the place could use a real cleaning and paint job. An aesthetic boba spot in Jacksonville. Pronounced "So-Ka," I believe. Honestly, probably my favorite boba spot. The first time I came here, I saw the Sakura Oolong Milk Tea and knew I had to try it. Anything Sakura (Cherry Blossom) & I'm in. If you aren't a huge fan of floral teas, give this one a go. I am not too fond of lavender or rose flavors but this one changed my palette for floral teas. Maybe its the milk added into it but it was enough to become my favorite beverage that isn't water. Since my last Jacksonville visit, I've come back and tried their Lychee Green Tea & their Peach Green Tea. I used to be more of a milk tea girl but this summer heat has me craving refreshing light drinks. The Peach Green Tea is MUST-HAVE if you want to quench your thirst on a hot day, especially if you like peaches. It's light in flavor, not too sweet and has mini diced up fresh peaches in it. This drink also comes with the crystal boba, a great addition in texture but not flavor. And by that I just mean that these little light colored balls have no flavor. The Lychee Green Tea is another great refreshing drink but has a savory hint with the cheese milk foam on top. If you're not a fan of this, you can ask them to not include it. I usually like it but I didn't love this combined with a refreshing lychee tea. This drink also comes with the crystal boba. As far as during the COVID outbreak and how they are adapting in terms of safety measurements, they do not have any indoor seating and only allow take-out. The workers are masked and friendly. They also provide hand sanitizer. My only gripe is that if you don't know what you want right away, the only menus at first glance are the paper take-out ones. I believe they have small signs of their food specials they offer, as well. So if you're coming in and want to be in & out, take a look at their menu before-hand. I would love to see them add a big sign of all their drink specials so it makes the ordering process a bit easier. If they want to keep that aesthetics for their signage, maybe add a letter menu board? Other than that, this is my favorite spot and you will definitely find me ordering drinks from here every time I come to Jacksonville. read more

This corona virus has gotten me out of my comfort zone. I don't normally venture out to other boba shops because I have a favorite but Tsaocaa was the only one who was still open to cure my boba cravings. Boba was soft and squishy and sweet so no complaints there. Their jasmine tea with added cream cheese topping was good but I would have prefer to not to have the additional sauce drizzled at the bottom.
