We immediately appreciated his easy going nature, his thoughtful feedback when talking about how to best trim an older cottonwood without stunting or harming its growth and his work ethic. Travis arrived as scheduled and wrapped up in under 3 hours. No assistance, no bucket truck, this man climbed our trees and did a fabulous job - both trimming and cutting one pine tree down entirely. Both locations were tight and we appreciated his skill in tackling them both, at an incredibly affordable price. We'd happily work with him again and recommend that you do too. We had a great experience with Travis. He is always on time, polite, professional, fast and knowledgeable. He removed an extremely tall, heavy spruce tree from our front yard in one day in extremely windy inclement weather with all safety precautions. Check out the precision on the tree removal photo. We had a couple of overdue tree projects and T's Trees was included in our outreach on Yelp. He was quick to respond and arrange a time to come out for a free consultation. The day of, he took his time to listen to our concerns and answer questions that we had. In the end, he turned around a quote within 24 hours and we chose him to complete our project! He was able to return the following week which was helpful because we were ready to complete the work fast. He came solo but worked very efficiently. In the beginning (a year ago) a man bought his first house. The yard was beautiful with three great looking trees. But much like the house looks can be deceiving. After spending a lot (I mean a lot) of money replacing a sewer line, electrical boxes, and various other things a flipper put lipstick on; the man thought at least he could sit under his nice huge silver maple and enjoy fruit from his bountiful apple trees. The man was wrong. The trees were plotting. The silver maple would grow their roots to cause leaks in the sprinkler. Causing missed lawn watering and general havoc. The squirrels who lived in Condo Silver Maples would beat the man to all the apples. But in a mocking jest only take a bite before dropping them to the ground. However the man vowed to love the trees anyway. The shade and protection from the hot sun should be enough. Then one day the man noticed that much like his house if he looked closer he could see the apple trees were dark and covered with something. The maple had a trunk of cement. So he rang an arborist or few (quotes are important in this world) to see to the trees. The apple tree twins were covered with blight, that had been unchecked for some time. All agreed that the apples were done and would need to come out. As for the maple, the man was told it only needed a hair trim. Though the man was not convinced given the abundant cement and foam fills. While he was on his last quote, the one with the best reviews, Ts Trees. The gentleman quoter looked at the man and said he recommended removal as the concrete and foam indicated the tree was potentially not sound and stable. However they were willing to cut the trees hair if that is what the man wanted. The man finally pulled the bandage off and ordered the trees three removal. Oh this execution decision pained the man though. He was distraught with agony. Was it the right call, would his neighbors judge him? The man was sure the neighbors still hated the painted white brick on the house. Although that was the flippers choice. Yet the man bore that decision like a scarlet brick carrier. Finally it was time to cut the trees. Ts showed up on time and began work. Although the trees three were strong and bigger than anyone truly realized, and created extra work days the team kept at it until the job was done. It was like Jack slaying the giant. There were a lot of fresh moments that left the man in amazement at the teams great work. In the end the team completed the work at a very reasonable rate and in an appropriate time frame. They removed the trees wood, scheduled the stump grinding, and left the saw dust so the man could use it as mulch. Oh and as for the silver maple, the team found that a good half of the trunk was concrete and it was very much rotted on the inside. Much like the rotting soul of most house flippers, but at last that is another review. Go with Ts. We woke up Sunday to one of our largest pine trees angled more than 30 degrees toward the house from the big wind storm overnight. We called T's Trees and they came over within an hour even on Sunday. Travis felt the tree was safe until Monday but he rescheduled another job so he could be here first thing the next day. They started at 8am and had the job done by noon leaving things clean and tidy. Travis was an expert getting the tree down safely with no risk to our pergola or house. Although we didn't go with T's Trees this time, they responded right away to our request and came out the next day and were very price competitive . We ended up doing more work than just removing our tree so we went with a different company that could do everything we needed with a group of 5 guys, otherwise I would have went with T's. read more
