This tattoo shop is one of a kind. Extremely clean with such a positive vibe. I am that one person that never plans ahead so I called in to see if I could get a tattoo same day. I spoke to T who owns the shop and he was upfront in telling me that he had a packed schedule. However, he was still willing to accommodate me. Having a schedule that revolves around my two littles it was nice to do something for myself. I am beyond thankful that he was able to fit me in because I love my tattoo so much but I appreciated his company even more. T is beyond knowledgeable and explained every step of the tattooing process and has a friendly aura that makes one feel so comfortable. You have a life long customer! I will be back soon! My bride and I both got tattoo's in Charleston, SC this past Summer. They were great, we were pleased, but they needed a little love. Met with T. He talked about what he could do, and we scheduled it. Made my bride feel very comfortable, and he made them look perfect. We both went in again this past month for new ink. The shop is clean and he sets up right in front of you so that you see the equipment being set up and the needles coming straight out of steril and sealed packaging. I got a tattoo from here when I turned 18 with my friend and the man working was very unprofessional and sexual towards us. We both got small tattoos next to our boobs and the artist kept making comments about them. On top of that he couldn't even do a small and simple design well. I got my first tattoo done by T at 19 - he had done another piercing of mine at 16 and it was great, so I had no doubts that the tattoo would be great too. It was script, done on my foot and is 'technically' fine, but I requested it to be all lowercase letters and in the stencil, it all looked uniform because it was in multiple peices....it was wrong =/ Not only did I not get exactly what I asked for, his tableside manner was a little rough. For a first tattoo, I had no idea what to expect, so I was startled when he first started tattooing and jumped a little, to which T said, "if this messes up, its going to be on you and your body and I don't care" . I've been getting tattoos since the 70's. I always traveled to New Hampshire, but never found a tattoo artist that I really liked. When this art became legal in Massachusetts, I asked around and a few people told me to check out T's Tattoo. I ventured over to Hudson one day and was pleasantly surprised - not your normal tattoo parlor. This place was immaculate and very welcoming. After talking with Jimmy T and seeing his work, I could tell he really knew his "stuff." Since that day, Jimmy has done new tattoos, added on to old tattoos, covered up crappy looking tattoos, and even put my business logo on my neck. T restored my Fleur-de-Lis that I had done in Worcester only 3 years ago. It was so washed out and I was wicked disappointed in the way it looked. I went to T's Tattoos in Hudson, MA two years ago with my family members to get script done. Someone in our family was diagnosed with stage IV cancer and we had decided to get lyrics from their favorite song tattooed on our back left shoulders. Sadly, something meant to be so special has turned out to be a nightmare. After Andrew finished my tattoo, I looked in the mirror (as best I could over my shoulder) and it looked fine despite being red and swollen. When it was time to pay, I took out my credit card and right away, the owner said "we prefer cash" even though there was a sign that said they accepted credit card payments. I only had enough cash to cover the cost of the tattoo, not tip. I told them I would run over to the ATM and be right back with the cash. Before I even finished my sentence, Andrew drew a big asterisk at the top of my consent form to indicate that I didn't tip (right in front of me!). I was so embarrassed in front of the group of people we came with. One of them leant me the tip and we left. Despite the issue with payment, I was so excited to get home and show our family. I had someone take a picture so I could share my first tattoo on social media and that's when I noticed it. After really looking at the photo, something seemed off. Some of the letters were very shaky, others thicker than the rest. There wasn't much consistency in the lettering. After a few months, I finally decided to visit other studios to get a second opinion and see if it could be touched up. Unfortunately, the writing is too small for the type of script and the words were tattooed too close to each other. Every artist I met with offered to touch it up but set expectations that I would only get a few years out of it before it would blur together and become illegible. Despite the fact, I still decided to touch it up because of the meaning behind it. Well, they were right. I just finished with my 4th laser removal appointment with possibly 8-10 more sessions to go. A cheap $100 tattoo with mediocre line work will now cost me 10 times the amount to remove. Always make sure you do your homework, look through the artist's portfolio and ask trusted friends for recommendations. Even then, this can be misleading. Overall, it was and has been an awful experience and I would definitely not recommend this place. But if you're looking for an inexpensive tattoo with poor line work and an outstanding customer experience, then stop in at T's Tattoos in Hudson and bring enough cash. read more
