Andy is amazing, super nice and funny guy who provides a safe, clean, comfortable and respectful experience the whole time. He's very informative and walks through his process verbally with you so you're never confused on what's happening. The only nerves I felt the whole time were the jitters of excitement!! I already had two piercings with butterfly backs but no one mentioned there is a different kind of back now where you screw a microscopic post into a tiny hole. I had to take them out for an MRI and can't get them back in because I have paralysis in my thumbs and arthritis in my hands. I called to see if they could exchange them for the type I wanted because I can't use these and he got very defensive. He kept telling me he has a client with 4 fingers and only one hand so my disability shouldn't be a problem. If he can overcome his then surely I should overcome mine, he insisted. I felt like I was talking to a child. There was no apology for the miscommunication, no offer to try to reorder them or take them back or even issue some kind of credit. He just kept blaming me, saying I should have asked when I came in wearing butterflies and having no idea these others existed. The bottom line: They don't take an ounce of responsibility for anything and are incredibly rude to someone who spent hundreds of dollars on something she can't use. Telling me I am wrong about my disability and insisting I can pay them to teach me to do it was the icing on the cake. You don't tell a disabled person that their disability isn't real and they can do something they can't if they really wanted to. I would rather pierce my own ear with a rusty nail than set foot in this scam of a place again.

my friend and i wanted same day piercings, but it's hard to find in northampton. we booked an…read moreappointment for the next day with Lindsay. they got their ears pierced, and i wanted my navel [redone after 9 years]. landon helped us with setting our appointment and picking our jewelry. for the navel, they have you choose your top pick for jewelry and a backup 2nd style in case your anatomy doesn't work with the jewelry you picked. i was sure which jewelry i wanted, and because i had my navel done before, i was confident that i'd get my first pick. when it comes time to get my piercing, lindsay was very thorough when it came to explaining everything and making markings for placement. unfortunately she said my anatomy wouldn't work with my first pick for jewelry, meaning i had to spend $100+ on a piece i wasn't thrilled about if i wanted to move forward. i almost cancelled, but she said she could potentially place it in a way so that when it healed (in a year), i would be able to use the jewelry i wanted. i've had over 16 piercings in the past, but i removed most of them, so it had been about 10 years since i had any piercing. i'm pretty experienced though. i picked the flower floating navel jewelry and it looked better than i anticipated. i did end up having issues with the disc which caused swelling, discharge and bleeding. my friend loved their ears, and it was very quick minus the markings. i do like that she took her time making sure the markings were in the perfect spot. the place is cute, filled with quality jewelry and decorated with crystals, snacks while you wait. update after 3 months: i had issues healing with the disc, and when i wanted a piercer to check it out at their sister store, they wanted a deposit to look at it. i had a lot of pain and was very nervous if it was infected. i was somewhat surprised they wouldn't even let you walk in without paying, but not so much as they wouldn't take a same day appointment and had a similar attitude. i had to go elsewhere where they looked at it (for free!) and gave me my options, i paid for the ball they switched out the disc for, and surely tipped due to great service. it did feel like they didn't care for our business initially, and they look at you a certain way if you look like you don't have any experience with body mods. i know that is typical for many piercing places which is why i gave them the benefit of 3 stars and not less.

Liked him immediately and since we both had seen his work, booked appointments. So today was the day and it was awesome. We are both stoked with our ink, enjoyed the hang and conversation, felt like we met a new good friend and could not recommend Thomas any higher. For us, there is only one place to go and to recommend. You will not be disappointed. I'd give him 10 stars if I could.

I highly suggest scheduling a consult for your tattoo and letting Thomas work his magic. I know for mine (arm sleeve) we sat on the couch and talked for almost an hour about the tattoo and my ideas for it while he listened, asked questions, and drew up designs in front of me. His original design on his sketch pad was amazing to see, but even more so after he refined it, re-drew it, and it became a reality on skin. The shop is obviously loved by its owner and staff. Extremely clean! I've walked into plenty of shops and it just feels like an operating room, but here it feels very comfortable while still remaining a sterile space. Secondly, they offer an amazing collection of jewelry to choose from, or to swap out previously had piercings. My piercer was named Robyn and she was super personable, and made sure that I was relaxed. Immediately it was apparent how professional she was at piercing and took her time with sterilizing all the parts. A week later I reentered and had to get my bar extended to account for healing. The owner squeezed me in immediately and I was also able to talk to the owner who helped me out.
