I went in for a consultation with my service dog and just because I allowed my dog to say hi to the…read moreartist the owner said no dogs are allowed in the rooms and then changed it to it's up to the artist. This is in direct violation of Federal law under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Department of Justice which states unless the dog is going to be a direct threat to the health or welfare a business must allow a service dog to accompany their human where the public is allowed. When in a room having a tattoo done a legitimate service dog would be on the floor or at least on the opposite side of the artist who would be holding the leash. The owner didn't even ask me the 2 legal questions he just assumed because I allowed my service dog a little leeway to say hello that it's a fake and would be in the way of the artist. I've been in there before with my service dog and had no problems. The last tattoo is the one I'm getting covered that was done there a couple of years ago. If you have a service dog save a headache and don't go here for a tattoo or piercing. I did have a body cam on and he even stated that he knew that I was recording which being a private business he could have told me when I walked in to turn it off but never did!
