I was left with a rushed, terrible job that was so bad my friends immediately asked who did…read moreit--just so they could avoid her themselves. It's embarrassing how she left my eyebrows. I specifically asked for something lighter than my eyebrows, natural-looking, and blended in so it wouldn't even look like they were "done." She clearly ignored everything I said. The lines are extremely dark, uneven, and far darker than my natural brows. The shading on the bottom is sloppy and laughable. Not only did she fail to listen to my concerns, but the result looks harsh, unnatural, and nothing like what I requested. $700 later, not only am I out that money, but now I'll have to spend over $2,000 to get them removed, as a true professional recommended, because there is no fixing this mess. (I posted her text.) What makes this worse is the provider's unprofessional response and complete lack of accountability. She showed no concern for the disastrous results, nor any willingness to find a solution. The lack of care, professionalism, and responsibility is unacceptable. All I wanted was for her to understand that the job was not up to anyone's standards like she claims, but all I got was short responses and, in the end, a thumbs up. If she can't see that the job was poor, then she shouldn't have a business at all. Way to go, Treya--you have outdone yourself!

Not only did I get expert eyebrows by a master instructor, but I was able to hear how she trains her students to become as passionate and professional as she is. Believe me when I say that any of her graduating students will not only be properly trained just to "tattoo eyebrows".... They are getting *expertly* trained in shaping brows to compliment their clients face shape, choosing natural colors and matching to their hair and skin tone, discussing and previewing the shape and color with their client, techniques in properly holding and using the equipment, photography, and, most importantly, proper OSHA and bloodborne pathogens guidelines (as a healthcare professional, I appreciated this so much!) If you choose to get your eyebrows done by Monique, you are getting an ARTIST who is passionate about her work as a permanent make up artist and instructor! I met Edda while visiting my son's fitness studio, Real Results Fitness Studio. Edda practices her permanent make up artistry right next door! On the very same block, I discovered my own Real Results with Edda that day. Results I never dreamed were possible. I had a dream. A dream for eyebrows. I recently read that my own sparse eyebrows would soon thin more and fade away as I aged. OMG. No eyebrows?! This wasn't something this baby boomer was going to take lightly. I asked for eyebrows in my dreams but I never dreamed there was a person like Edda! So talented. So sincerely interested. So passionate about what she does...so conscientious and professional. She was my "eyebrow angel"! The one I prayed for was now standing right in front of me! LOL I was under "her wing" you could say and I felt safe and confident about the procedure that would change my life! You have no idea! Wow! Edda was also very accommodating. I realized quite suddenly that I would also benefit from permanent eye liner as well. I have Graves Disease and suffer with dry eyes which means a lot of tearing, not so good for the eyeliner I would have just applied. So, I was going to soon have my new eyebrows and eyeliner on the same afternoon! Just 3 hours later, I looked in the mirror and my dream of looking healthy and polished as a mature aging woman cracks the mirror (sorry, Edda, I will see about a new mirror)! " Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the most beautiful baby boomer of all? " LOL That mirror cracked from the image of two beautiful teal green eyes outlined by skillfully applied permanent black eye liner. My eyes popped out from under those very well sculpted eyebrows! I thought I was looking at a movie star on television. Be sure to discover these best kept secrets for yourself and or your friends. The skill and permanence of these services demand the very best professional. I found her and now you can, too. P.S. Edda also offered me a 10% discount on the spot. Love it.

Once I realized my review was gone, I knew I had to come back and share my experience again. I have very uneven eyebrows due to a scar over one eye, making one brow sit slightly higher. After years of searching for someone I could truly trust, I found Mila, and I've never looked back. Her precision and expertise have consistently given me incredible results. Even when she moved from New York to Boston, I didn't hesitate to make the trip for my touch-ups--she's that good! I may not have my original before-and-after pictures anymore, but I have plenty of photos that showcase her amazing work. If you're looking for someone who truly understands brows, Mila is the one! Nobody even realizes my brows are microbladed and that's really always the goal! Natural work that makes you feel confident. She's exactly the style and shape that I have always liked and that's why I will recommend her over and over again. I've had many friends go to her that I referred and they all feel the same way!

Often times, microbladed or nano brows look quite "rectangular" to me - specific lines, boxed in, all looking the same. The first time I went to have my brows done, about 4 years ago, was when Mila first switched from microblading to nano brows. And I was absolutely floored by the amount of time she put into sketching the right brow shape for my face and explaining why the shape complimented my face. She is a perfectionist and it shows. Every appointment has me leaving with exactly how I want my brows - even a year when I asked if she could touch something up and I got right back on the table. She also always has the most up-to-date technology - I went in yesterday for my yearly and she already had newer technology since I was there a year ago when she had just upgraded tech then! She is also the most professional yet easy to talk with - appointments fly by with someone like this. If you are looking for someone to work with you on your brows for years, go see Mila. I don't even go for brow maintenance to a beauty bar every 3 months as I used to as I'm so confident!
