I requested an appointment by email and I sent over a photo of the tattoo I wanted. The next day I went to the shop and I met with Isaac. I was super stoked to see that he was tattooing locally right where I was working. I sent Joe and message on IG and told him I was interested in getting my leg sleeve filled in with lots of color and small tattoos. He was super kind, responded and told me to swing by the shop for a consult and some photos of the leg that evening. I was stoked to have him take a second out of his day to meet with me. Consult went great and he was cool as heck which was awesome. My schedule is super hectic and I travel a lot and I'm not a resident so I was worried he would be upset - total opposite. Dude pulled out a planner and started throwing all sorts of times and days out there "Wednesday at 640pm? Saturday at 10am? What works?" I laughed because that's how my schedule literally works we ended up getting a few sessions in and knocked out the rest of my leg! Joe was super hospitable to the MA area, recommend food places and things to see before I split! Thanks Joe for being so cool and kind! I'll be back to get work done!

The last thing I would want is for the same person who messed up my skin so badly to have another chance to make it even worse! After seeing several other reviews about horrible tattoo work done at Cobra Customs by Matt, and how Cobra Customs has given each of these other customers the run around about making it right, ultimately doing absolutely nothing about it and leaving each of us with awful tattoos that are nothing like we asked for, it's clear that Cobra Customs does not stand behind the work of the artists they hire or the work that is done on their premises. If you choose Cobra Customs, vet your individual artist thoroughly before starting. It should have been my first red flag that when I went in for a consultation I was given no option of which artist to work with, was simply told Matt would be the one who would do the work. Based on previous work I had done there in the early 2000's by great artists, I wrongly assumed all artists at Cobra would do quality work.
