I first met Kevin at a local tattoo expo in Lewiston, ME and was amazed by his work. We were originally scheduled to complete the tattoo at this year's expo, but the pandemic caused the event to cancel, but he offered to do it at his shop if I was willing to drive down to avoid having to cancel. The shop is industrial and antique in decor. He offers a comfortable environment with the option of music and Netflix to help pass the time. We started about 3-4 weeks in advance with me providing a tattoo idea. He provided some feedback, asked for some influences and then put together a tattoo idea that I absolutely loved. He fused the artistry of Charlie Medina with a character from the Avengers. It took approximately 9.5 hours to complete and it was worth every mile traveled and every penny spent. And they said their is another tattoo artist by the name of Evy who may or may not be able to squeeze me in. They ultimately rescheduled me for another week because Evy could not accommodate. I was only disappointed because I had actually taken time off of work to come and get this done, and there was no effort to try and make the situation right other than just rescheduling me. I came back in a week later. She was finishing up the appointment before me. She said she hasn't eaten since this morning, and left to the back to go eat. She didn't come back for another 35 mins or so. And when she did she came back with a piece that, no offense, looked liked she just came up with in the last 35 minutes. There was essentially no real thought or artistry that was put into this, and i think she i knew this. And offered to do a color test on me for free. I declined, because i wasn't about to get a color test done when i didn't like the product that was shown to me. Overall Cat may do some nice work, from her portfolio some of the stuff did look ok. But because of the lack of effort put into my work, I will never know. I did give 2 stars because she is very nice. And she does offer a service where she will give you 3 mock ups before you come in for 90 dollars.

Sean had been my family tattoo artist for years. he was trusted, and did good work. until he…read moredecided to get drunk on the job. he did an absolutely horrific tattoo, I mean probably one of the worst I ever saw. mind you people told us he had been kicked out of his last shop for doing the same thing. he offered to fix the tattoo. tried to, somehow it looked worse, then when we reached out for continuous work on it to try to make it better, he ignored us. we have spent thousands to cover it and it's not even done yet. he blamed it on his family issues. please don't go to him, you will absolutely regret it.
