Gigi is kind, professional, and has amazing aseptic technique. She was beyond kind and made me feel…read moreat ease. The space is calm clean and peaceful. I would return here again and again for any and all piercings and body jewelry.

In July me and my friend both went to this piercer due to the good reviews. One of our appointments…read morewas for 6pm and the piercer didn't show up until 5:55 PM and sat in her car until literally one minute before the appointment. We gave her the benefit of the doubt of course, something could have happened out of her control. When she finally unlocked her doors and let us in, we said hello several times and were fully ignored. She began the appointment with an uncomfortable conversation about intercourse and then stated "i love having uncomfortable conversations". While personally i just came for a pricing and not to purposefully and gleefully be put in an uncomfortable situation. I was getting my left eyebrow pierced, i already have my left eyebrow and many other piercings. She put a short bar eyebrow piercing that gives no room for swelling at all. Unfortunately it is now infected and it's certainly not to due with keeping it clean, i'm very diligent with that. Unfortunately the jewelry is just not what one should be pierced with. She said she had 16 years of experience, so you would think she would know what she's doing. I would usually reach out to the service provider or piercer in this situation. But she was completely unprofessional, made me uncomfortable on purpose, and incorrectly pierced me, so I don't feel comfortable or safe going to her for any reason again. My friends appointment was booked as a piercing as she wanted her tongue priced. fortunately, her 16 years of experience came in handy this time figuring out her anatomy didn't support the piercing. so instead, she chose to change the bar to her nose piercing. but still got charged for a whole new piercing ($120). unfortunately, if you're looking for a piercer, I wouldn't recommend. down below will include the exact piercing. She pierced me with and pus coming out of it because it's incorrect for an initial piercing.

Piercing Pagoda - Studs I got from Piercing Pagoda.

Everything was done safely, a quick two seconds and it was in. They told me how to care for the piercing afterwards. Haven't had any issues with the studs. Definitely recommend them, but if they're busy be prepared to wait a bit.

Piercing Pagoda is my saving grace when it comes to ear piercings. I got pierced at this location…read moreyesterday afternoon and it was the most sanitary, quick, and painless piercing I've ever had. If you're trying to decide between Piercing Pagoda and Claire's, definitely read this review. I've finally learned to never get your ears pierced at Claire's. In my 20 years of life, I've been pierced at Claire's a whopping 7 times. 5 of the 7 caused me extreme pain (either because the piercing experience wasn't done correctly/gently or because within a few hours/days the pain became worse due to a lack of sterilization). And 4 out of those 7 piercings got infected and I was able to save only 1 of the 4 in the end. Piercing Pagoda, however, is absolutely fabulous. The employees are kind, relatable, and professional. Their equipment is always sterilized, and although they still use guns, they are actual high quality piercing guns and not the cheap little tiny ones anyone can buy at Sally's. The piercing process is quick and literally painless. I was shocked when the piercing process didn't hurt at all, and I only experienced minor aches and awkward twitches for the remainder of the day and through the night. I was even able to sleep on that ear (by accident/habit) without any discomfort. This is a massive improvement from when I got my cartilage pierced at Claire's. Within an HOUR of getting my cartilage pierced at Claire's, my ear was in extreme pain, throbbing, and gave me a severe headache. Over time, the piercing quickly became so unbearably painful that it had a heartbeat of it's own, it turned bright red/purple, and my family and I literally spent a good 5 minutes trying to find a way to get it out of my ear (it was latched onto my ear and was unnaturally difficult to get off. Something definitely wasn't right about that process at all). That happened when I was 13 years old. The fact that I can still clearly remember that pain is unsettling in itself. When I got my 2nd and 3rd holes done on my earlobes at Claire's last year, I figured that they would've vastly improved since the last time I had been there (cause, you know, 6 years is a long time). I was wrong. The lady pierced the piercings wayyyy too close together to the point where the backs would rub against each other, irritating the piercing. On top of that, the piercings are completely uneven, and my 3rd hole in my left ear is half on my lobe and half on my cartilage. I also remember one of the guns getting stuck momentarily during the piercing process...and although it didn't really phase me at the time, I later noticed that it tore the piercing hole a little bit, which later caused a lot of problems (the earring was so small and the piercing hole had been torn just big enough that at one point while I was sleeping, the earring actually got lodged INSIDE of my ear and I had to push it out. It was painful, to say the least, and fortunately this was the only infected piercing that I was able to save). Their cheap quality of jewelry also doesn't do the piercing and healing process any justice, either. So long story short, skip Claire's and head over to Piercing Pagoda instead. It might be a little bit more expensive...but it's so worth it.

this place at all costs! I went in to ask if they could order me specific gems on white gold posts…read moreand they put them in for me. I already had two piercings with butterfly backs but no one mentioned there is a different kind of back now where you screw a microscopic post into a tiny hole. I had to take them out for an MRI and can't get them back in because I have paralysis in my thumbs and arthritis in my hands. I called to see if they could exchange them for the type I wanted because I can't use these and he got very defensive. He kept telling me he has a client with 4 fingers and only one hand so my disability shouldn't be a problem. If he can overcome his then surely I should overcome mine, he insisted. I felt like I was talking to a child. There was no apology for the miscommunication, no offer to try to reorder them or take them back or even issue some kind of credit. He just kept blaming me, saying I should have asked when I came in wearing butterflies and having no idea these others existed. The bottom line: They don't take an ounce of responsibility for anything and are incredibly rude to someone who spent hundreds of dollars on something she can't use. Telling me I am wrong about my disability and insisting I can pay them to teach me to do it was the icing on the cake. You don't tell a disabled person that their disability isn't real and they can do something they can't if they really wanted to. I would rather pierce my own ear with a rusty nail than set foot in this scam of a place again.
