ive been going to renaissance for a few years now and im glad i did. the place is the best around!! Always extremely clean, friendly always using the best machines and inks. i go to the owner of the shop, dave! he is very clean, professional and his work speaks for itself. if you havent seen any of his work do yourself a favor and check it out you will be amazed. he can do any style tattoo you'd like and it will come out absolutely perfect, but he specializes in realistic tattoos. whether you like color or black and grey he got you covered! i will never go to another person for a tattoo every time i've been at the shop i like to see what other artist are working on..i try not to bother them to much, but i do peak in and check them out. ive seen doug do some pretty cool stuff while ive been there. check his work out as well my girlfriend has a great piece by Dale she has booked many more appointment with her in the future! i have a few friends that go to her as well and all their work is awesome these guys are a great team all around you will be satisfied with them! im probably the pickiest person when it comes to tattoos, but i feel completely comfortable at this shop! and while you wait you can always get a good laugh with Andrew the receptionist! also. i personally hear people always say " the wait is to long to get in there" that is not true. give them a call or go down there and they will get you in! if there is any kind of wait whether its a few weeks or a month it is well worth the wait! a tattoo is on you forever people. read more

I have been here for a few of my tattoos and have nothing but good things to share! The tattoo artists are VERY professional and listen to exactly what you want. I had Dale do my latest tattoo which she drew on me, and I even made her wash it off and start half of it over , and she was completely happy with making it EXACTLY how I wanted no matter how many times I had her re do it! She kept me talking the whole time to make the time fly by. She did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier with the results!! As for another artist Doug, My bf had a cover up done by him last year. He had seen a few artists who told him it would be tricky to cover because it was so deep. Doug hand drew over it with such detail that there is no trace of the old one whatsoever! He did a GREAT job with it and we were amazed how good it covered the original! Place all and all is awesome and I would refer it to all my friends :) .. I've had several tattoos done here by Dale Deville and I have gotten compliments on every single tattoo that she has done. I love these tattoos and I'm honored to have them on my body is a work of art. The colors are fantastic months later they still look as if they were just done. They also are extremely helpful and courteous and not afraid to tell you what is not going to look good to make sure that the tattoo experience is the best that you can have. I won't go anywhere else for my tattoos anymore! Renaissance tattoo has been in business for over 20 years, I have been getting tattooed there for that long, David, Dale, and Doug are very professional and friendly, the shop Is very clean and they all use top of the line machines, inks, and needles, they are recommended by the Rhode Island blood center. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Scheduled an appointment on a monday and got in that friday for a decent sized piece. Staff was overall friendly, and professional.
