I was greeted by their piercer, Oz who was very patient explaining the paperwork thoroughly. They helped me select jewelry and explained the different metals and prices on everything. Jay, the owner, was the one to pierce me. His piercing shop is the cleanest one I've ever seen. My body rejected in the same place prior to seeking out Elegance and a month later the new one is healed with out the issues like I've had with other piercing studios. Jay was thorough in explaining after care for all three piercings and I even got a goodie bag at the end. My boyfriend and I will be going back for all of our piercings in the future!

And they said their is another tattoo artist by the name of Evy who may or may not be able to squeeze me in. They ultimately rescheduled me for another week because Evy could not accommodate. I was only disappointed because I had actually taken time off of work to come and get this done, and there was no effort to try and make the situation right other than just rescheduling me. I came back in a week later. She was finishing up the appointment before me. She said she hasn't eaten since this morning, and left to the back to go eat. She didn't come back for another 35 mins or so. And when she did she came back with a piece that, no offense, looked liked she just came up with in the last 35 minutes. There was essentially no real thought or artistry that was put into this, and i think she i knew this. And offered to do a color test on me for free. I declined, because i wasn't about to get a color test done when i didn't like the product that was shown to me. Overall Cat may do some nice work, from her portfolio some of the stuff did look ok. But because of the lack of effort put into my work, I will never know. I did give 2 stars because she is very nice. And she does offer a service where she will give you 3 mock ups before you come in for 90 dollars.

I have had a few different artists over the years, a couple I stayed with for numerous pieces. Lou is the one I'll be staying with now. He is an insanely talented artist as you can see from my photo (and the rest of his portfolio), with a really wonderfully easy-going personality to boot. His hand is not only skilled but very gentle. I went in slightly nervous after having already done a piece on my spine years ago which hurt like a mother F-er, and he proved I had nothing to worry about... 2.5 hours of sitting pretty with no issues at all. He went above and beyond in every way during my first visit. I could not be happier with how the tattoo came out or how the whole experience was overall! As for the shop itself, it's filled with amazing artwork and is impeccably clean. I made 2 more appointments for this summer already and you should too!

I had booked an appointment through Instagram DMs as instructed, had a lovely conversation with my artist's assistant, and sent my deposit to the artist that I had booked with- Amy Heath. However, at 11:30PM the night before my appointment, I received a text that my appointment had been cancelled. To preface a little bit: I had booked for two tattoos, and this would have been my first experience with tattoos. I greatly admired, and truly still do admire, the work of Amy- I was absolutely thrilled to be working with her and planned an hour long commute that was a rare opportunity in order to be tattooed by her. I sent her a quick DM asking why my appointment had been cancelled, and I decided to try calling her at 11:45PM. The first call had no answer, so I decided to just try one more time. She answered, said, "F*ck off, I'm in bed," and hung up. I will attach photos of the exchange that followed. I was truly excited for my appointment, and I would have understood Amy's frustration if she had been polite about it. I was very frustrated about the cancellation, as I took lots of time to pick an artist and studio that I felt would provide a good experience, but I did not stoop to the level of rudeness and extreme unprofessionalism that Amy did. The facility itself is beautiful- it's big and has lots of open space. A really relaxed atmosphere and not intimidating at all. Everyone I met while I was there was super nice, too. As far as the process itself, I felt extremely confident in how clean everything was and Amy's process was great- she took her time and explained what she was doing and why which made me feel at easy. She offered breaks consistently, checked in often, and very sweetly gave me both gum and a lollipop as a distraction. The tattoo itself came out great and she gave me easy and clear aftercare instructions, as well as a fast way to reach her should I have any additional questions, and offered touch ups over the next few months if I noticed any cracking or anything like that as it healed (my design had a lot of done lines). I will definitely be back for my next tattoo, Amy is fantastic and I had a great experience here!
