I came in to get a second hole in my nose months ago, my goal being that I eventually wanted to have two hoops in the one side of my nose. ( I had already had one one for years.) I got it done by a woman named Leslie and went on my way... I waited over the recommended 6 months then went to another piercing establishment to get it changed out. Come to find out when he went to change it into a hoop he was unable to do so because the hole had been pierced completely crooked (crossing through my other piercing) The piercer's words, "I have never seen anything like this." He offered to take it out for me and let it heal then repierce it straight. I would have taken him up on it but I wanted MC to know this happened so I sent them an email to the email address listed on their FB page. No response. I live far away so the next time I was in town I made it a point to drop in and tell them. I spoke to Julia, who is a wonderful human being and this review is no reflection on her. To my understanding she understood the situation and told me they would most likely repierce it for free, but she would address it and give me a call which she did the next day and told me to come in and they would look at it and take care of it. I told her I wouldn't be back in the area for a couple weeks and she made me an appointment but I was able to come in earlier so I called and let her know and I stopped in. I was greeted by the piercer to whom I tried to explain the situation and he took it as, "it looks like it's just pierced too close together." Which wasn't the case, which I was trying to explain then he said we should just remove it and then he CHARGED me to remove it. He asked me if it was Leslie that did it and said that she no longer works there. So it was clear to me that he knew there was an issue with it. Then when he went to remove it he said, "oh this is crooked" then went on to tell me that it had now migrated into the same hole as my original piercing which I am SURE would not have happened if the piercing had been done correctly in the first place. All I got was a, "Sorry this happened to you." Oh and you have to pay to remove our fuck up. I paid almost $100 for that piercing. Waited months to change it. Drove over 2 hours 2 times to address this issue. Then paid to remove it? You put a crooked hole in my body and you feel no need to make it right. I would have said all this then and there today but I was honestly in disbelief. Whether or not that person who did that is still employed there, they were. Your establishment did that to me. A simply sorry isn't good enough and making me pay $10 oh and a fucking tip? To remove it. I am not one to complain. I was so nice about the situation when I came in initially, but this is not how you do business. When you mess up you make it right and you certainly don't make the customer pay for your mistakes. Also this is a hole in someone's face we are talking about. I am severely disappointed. Do not get pierced here. read more

I've gotten two tattoos and a piercing done here. Initially, I was pleased with the tattoos I had gotten. When I went to get my third tattoo at a different shop (all floral tattoos), I was shocked at how horrible the tattoos I had gotten here looked in comparison. Bad enough to the point where friends and family would comment that my most recent tattoo made the others look like garbage. I've recently gotten them both redone as cover ups. I wanted to return here to make sure you do your research and look for artists who have the talent to give you the best tattoo possible! During my cover up session, my new artist had said the first tattoo I had gotten was badly scarred. You could feel the outline and it looked puffy. (I never took much notice since it is on the back of my shoulder) I won't mention the artist I had at Miraculous' name, but he was rude and unprofessional. I don't know why I came back a second time. I got an ankle tattoo and had read online that the artist would shave the area and not to shave it on my own in case of cuts or irritation. His response? "Wow, thanks for shaving your legs for me." He had also gotten up to eat pizza in the middle of my session and was eating next to the equipment. Two stars because my piercing was done well, was fast, easy and cheap. read more

I have been going here for years. JP has done all my piercings, including my daughters ears when she was just 2 years old. (he was excellent with her) This place is very clean. The equipment/jewelry is sterilized right before the piercing is done, so you know first hand that it is clean and safe. They offer a wide selection of jewelry, and they are also able to custom order exactly what your looking for if you are requesting something specific. I have had two custom orders here and they both came in exactly how I wanted. Went back to see if they would replace the jewelers or refund my money only to be told "if we replaced everyone's lost jewelers we'd be out of business". I didn't lose it. It FELL OUT. We were in the mood for some new ink and just happened to be down the street when I did a google search for tattoo places... Our luck got better when an artist had an opening for me right then and another artist had one for later for my husband. Joe did a great job on my foot tattoo and did some beautiful script in 10 minutes! The went on to some stars. All 3 tats came out greet and at a good price too. They have an ATM in the shop, snack machine, coffee, tv and some arcade games so you don't get too bored while waiting if you have a friend getting tattooed. The business is extremely clean, easily the most sanitary tattoo shop I've ever been to, the artists have some sick work posted up all around the building and I looked through some of their portfolios too which also were very impressive. Their shop minimum is $100 and I went and got a few small words which turned out great. It was pretty quick since I got a small piece but they absolutely take their time to make sure you walk out with every line connected and looking good. Decided to go here instead of Piercing Emporium because the line there was too long. I REGRET THAT. obviously they were busy for a reason. i had my 3 year nostril stud changed into a ring which caused my ACTUAL NOSTRIL to become infected. my nose has never been this painful. JP changed it into a ring that was WAY too small it was literally digging and cutting into my skin but i didn't notice until i got home. i went back the next day and they charged me $15 for a new ring because he had asked me if the piercing felt okay the day before and i said yes. As a professional, he should have known it looked wrong even if i hadn't noticed until i took a closer look when i got home. never going here again, ruined my nostril. read more

I found this creative place over the internet and called. I was greeted by a friendly bunch of people who I had never met before and the process begun right away. The consultation was free flowing and very open with creativity and so my ideas were received with open minds and the result was my ideas met with professional guidance from my artist, Justin, who added some refinement to my vision. The scheduling went along fine and I was there with my beverage and newspaper ready for the completion of my old unfinished tattoo. At the end the result was far above my expectations and I was happily paying for a better tattoo than I had intended, great job everyone!! I'd say about 2yrs ago, I was itching for a new tattoo and decided to come here due to their reputation. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! I stopped by and they told me I needed to put down a deposit of $40 and made an appointment for 430p for that same afternoon. Being the punctual person that I am, I arrived at 415p and the front desk lady told me the guy that would tattoo me was just about to grab something to eat. I said no problem I'll wait since I was early anyway. About half hr goes by, the guy had already came back and was just sitting in his chair, not eating and hasn't even acknowledged that I was even there waiting for him. I wasn't sure what he was doing but he didn't seem to be busy and to me perception is reality when dealing with customers. So I'm sitting there just waiting. 15 more mins had gone by, it was already about 45 mins past my appointment time and some girl walks in and asks for a consultation and the front desk girl directs her to the guy that was supposed to be tattooing me. And they sit down and he starts consulting with her!! At this point I had made up my mind to go elsewhere and asked for my deposit back. The front desk has the nerve to tell me "it's just like when you go to the Drs office, you have to wait". Mind you, the place was empty!! I was the only customer the whole time I was waiting until the other girl showed up. They were hesitant to refund my deposit but I insisted and I left. Thanking my lucky stars for dodging that bullet. I went to a different tattoo shop that same night, I got a bigger tattoo for a less price and been going back ever since. read more

My girlfriend called ahead of time one her piercing was fitting to tight. She was looking to buy a few more granted they weren't the gold ones. Jesse rushed her he was very rude about it and when we got to the register he upped the price. It was marked at 25-30, he charged her 50. Then gave himself a 5 star review and wouldn't Eben let her put the piercing in. As a business owner if one of my employees ever treated a customer like that , they wouldn't have a job working with me anymore. I understand there are other people looking to shop but it was her turn and we waited patiently because that's what you do. We were in there for a total of 20minutes. A little over 5 waiting our turn about 3 minutes shopping before the attitude started and she was being ignored and then the check-out being the worst with him blatantly charging us double the price for what must have been for the small amount I f time he took to help her out. My place to go for piercings. I have been getting pierced by miraculous since I was 14 years old (although they were located in different shop back then). I got my belly button pierced when I was 14, my snug at 16, my conch at 19, my nose at 21, and my rook at 23. Ive come back on numerous occasions to pick up new jewelry or plugs. Every experience was professional, informative and excellent. I've brought friends here as well to get pierced and they've always been happy with the result. I believe the price is on par with the service. You're permanently modifying your body, so I hope it is being done by a professional with the correct certifications and knowledge, which I know I'm getting here. The shop presents itself very nicely and up sells all of their high quality jewelry for the "cheapest price". I recently received a navel piercing from them. I had the utmost confidence I would have the best service and I thought I did, but for some reason they failed to mention my body was "anatomically incorrect" for the piercing. Wouldn't the piercer think to examine the area to make sure of this before having me pay $90? It's very upsetting to think they would overcharge me only for me to have to take out the jewelry. You'll be better off going to a place that charges only $50 and then you can change the jewelry to your liking once it's healed. read more

I went there last month to get my first tattoo. I put down my $30 deposit for Rob, and came in later on. I signed my forms, got my ID checked, and got my tattoo care package (love the smell of A&D haha). The guy who works at the front desk is THE nicest guy. We shared jokes and stories and he was really chill. I ended up paying $100 (after 10% student discount) for my 2-3 inch wrist piece. It was definitely worth the price because I love it and I get compliments on it all of the time. People even take pictures of it to show their future tattoo artists and friends. I finished in like 45 minutes. Rob was really fun but he doesn't like it when people get too camera-happy or when too many people go inside the room so give him space to do his thing and you'll love it. Im extremely unhappy with this shop. ONE: My girlfriend had returned plugs after realizeing they sold her the wrong size when she couldnt put them in her ear . They had skipped a size. The day we went to return them they wouldnt give her her money back even after it was their mistake, they got them for her and took them out of the case for her. All they did is give her a gift card with the money on it. Then i had returned back to the shop a few days later and those plugs were BACK IN THE CASE. I know they were the same ones because they only had one set of those plugs they day we bought them, in that size. plus the guy said they didnt get new plugs till the next week. So they were for sure put back in the case to be sold. DISGUSTING. TWO: refused me with proper identification and they clearly dont know what state laws are for what is needed as an ID in massachusetts. I looked it up, and i had brought two! of the needed IDs. THREE: embarressed in front of other customers and had a staff member raise his voice to me and talk to me as if i was a small child. FOUR: Sold the wrong size balls for lip rings.Once again, their mistake. My girlfriend ask for what she needed and they put it in a bag and sold it to her as if it was the right ones. FIVE: Had gone to buy plugs with my girlfriend and the two guys at the desk stood there, one on his cell phone and the other just sat down and gave no assistance. When she asked for help they just said, " uh ya, the plugs are behind you" like it was her job to get them. SORRY SHE DOESNT WORK THERE YOU DO. Then one of the men at the front desk was talking to her as if she was stupid and didnt know how to stretch her ears. Then they had gone outside to smoke and left other customers inside with no assistance. What are these people getting payed to do? I dont recommend anyone to go tho this shop, for anything. Tattoos, piercings, or even to get jewelry. They have a horrible selection. All the jewelry is very cheap looking. The staff are unprofessional. Joey don't read this. My girlfriend got a piercing and I was dying to get one. She told me about this place and the girl who had done hers. I called immediately and could get in the next day. I walked in and was impressed by the shop and the layout and by all the pierced jewelry they had. This was not just another tattoo shop. Rosemarie came out to meet me and we walked back to her room. All her credentials were all lined up on her wall and my nerves calmed right down. She had been doing it for 16 years. She was wonderful!!! Topnotch and gentle, quick and funny. Very down to earth and that's the kind of people I love. She explained everything clearly and patiently and I had questions which she answered with confidence. I have had 5 piercings done here and each time they were very clean and provided great service. The shop is huge with lots of jewelry you can buy. You usually have to make an appointment unless you want to wait awhile for a walk in. The people are always friendly and the piercer I usually have, Crystal, always does a great job. The only thing I don't like is that they only take cash, its kind of inconvenient. read more
