ZERO STARS. PREDATORY BUSINESS PRACTICES AND BAIT-AND-SWITCH TACTICS…read more Do absolutely everything you can to avoid Removery in Manchester. This place operates like a scam. Their entire business model seems to be rushing you in the door to lock you into a financing agreement, doing a couple of sessions, and then completely abandoning you. I am currently trapped paying a monthly bill for a service they refuse to provide. I have made 6 payments so far, yet they repeatedly cancel my appointments with zero accountability. They canceled on me in January claiming "staffing issues," and now they've canceled again in April, sometimes way in advance because they simply don't feel like doing the work. They are incredibly fast when it comes to taking your money and getting you set up on a loan, but when it actually comes time to do the laser removal, they are nowhere to be found. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY COMING HERE. You will be stuck paying off a loan for a phantom service. Go to a reputable dermatologist or a business that actually honors its contracts and respects its clients. I will be reporting this location to the Better Business Bureau and the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection.

The intake person that I dealt with (cannot remember his name I think maybe Jason) was awesome, helpful, and explained everything for me. The process of removing a tattoo is expensive, however I found their pricing pretty reasonable, it was actually less than I expected to pay. They also guarantee to refund the cost of extra sessions back to you if the tattoo comes off in fewer than they predicted. And if it takes more sessions to remove than you paid for, they will cover the extra sessions for no cost which I thought was an awesome policy. They were able to get me in the same day as my consult to start removing my tattoo. I left for an hour With the numbing cream they gave me and then came back for the removal. I felt nothing at all from the laser, it was completely painless. The girl who does the laser (cannot remember her name either) was very friendly and talkative with me. I would 10/10 recommend this place and I wish I had come here for my other tattoo instead of trying to cover it!

Eve handled all of my treatments, and was professional, funny, and probably one of the coolest people I've ever met. When I arrived for my consultation a couple weeks back, I was pleased when I was greeted with a new mask, hand sanitizer, and my temperature taken. The consultation was super informative about how tattoo removal works, and what to expect regarding cost, payment plan options, and time frame. I learned a lot during my first visit, and was very excited to come back and get started. The removal today was quick, and almost painless. A very comfortable, and clean experience. Topped with an adorable studio, great conversation, a friendly staff, and reasonable prices. If you've been considering tattoo removal, take the leap and book a consultation at disappearing inc!

After having been on medication for over twelve years I was required to take a urine drug screen to…read morecontinue, though I had never previously taken one, had changed nothing about frequency or dosage over that time period. My previous doctor at HFP, who was a respectful, intelligent, good-faith partner in my health care, retired. I'd have begged him to stay but he was emotionally exhausted. Can't imagine why. I was tested for heroin, cocaine, barbiturates, fentanyl, marijuana, oxycodone, methadone and other substances. They did not itemize in advance the things they were testing me for - I found out on the results. They tested for weed. Which is none of their business. Go for it, guys. You own my body. You don't need a search warrant. You aren't the government. You can just blackmail me for my health needs. I can only assume that this information will eventually be used to deny me insurance for one reason or another. I just discovered I now owe six hundred dollars for the privilege of carrying a bottle of my own urine down a hallway in full view of other patients to prove that I am not a heroin addict. Passed with flying colors, everyone. I haven't done an interesting drug since 1995 and have never been addicted to anything but cigarettes, which I quit, ages ago, like everyone else. Interestingly, they don't check for cigarettes, which are as addictive as anything, and have quite a bit of historical data supporting their lethal effects. Great news, it is completely fine with whatever corporate behemoth now controls HFP if you smoke cigarettes. Perhaps I should start. They also neglected to mention the $600 insult that awaited me. I guess they thought that was best left unsaid. Honestly, they were probably right on that one. (If you're curious what phenyclidine is - it's on the report on the image, that would be PCP. They tested me for PCP. I am paying $600 for a completely unnecessary test that established that I do not take PCP.) I'm stuck with them, because it is my responsibility to myself and my family to do what it takes to get mental health care. I came very close to not doing it, but I need ADHD medicine to function. When I questioned the requirement, I was told 'everyone is treated the same way' to which I would respond 'Yes, but shouldn't no one be treated like a criminal if there is no evidence they are a criminal other than that they are living their lives?' But I cannot say this, because they will note on the charts that I am 'difficult' - they probably already did - and things will be worse. So here is the result of this: I am in my fifties. Will I get a mammogram? No. Will I get a colonoscopy? No. Will I get a pap smear? You have got to be kidding. Not in a million years. Will I submit to any regular testing of any kind? No. If I have a fever of a 103, will I call them? No. If my appendix bursts, I'll go to the hospital. If I break my arm, I'll go to the hospital. If I get the flu and have a fever for four days, I'll take Nyquil and drink orange juice and suck it up and hope I don't die and if I get close enough to dying, I hope my partner will take me to the hospital. "Parole officers" are not doctors. I hate the medical care I get, and I hate that I can't get better, and I miss Peter Weitzman, a respectful and compassionate doctor. Those don't exist anymore. Oh, and the benzos on the report? Oh my yes. I had to take a Xanax just to get in their doorway. I'm not playing whack-a-mole hunting through the cabled-together conglomerate of a nationally terrible health care system try to put a glass slipper on the kind of doctor that no longer exists. I am clearly emotionally not ready, and you can't call and ask 'do you treat patients like criminals?' because that marks you ask a drug-seeker. This isn't obeying in advance. It's obeying because I have no other options available. Giving them two stars because the techs are kind and competent, the front desk is friendly, and you never have to wait too long to see someone.

My doctor is leaving, there are other doctors at the practice who are taking new patients, but they will not allow any of my doctor's patients to stay with the practice. I just spoke to a very nice receptionist who clearly is getting many calls and is just as clearly not allowed to say why this is happening. The disrespect for patients is just beyond the pale, and especially so in an area that has a shortage of doctors and it's really hard to find a new one.
