Disappearing Inc exceeded all of my expectations! I started to go to the Boston location for Disappearing Inc, but continued most of my treatments with Eve in the Framingham location. I got a tattoo on my forearm a few years back and didn't like the position of it at all! After researching all the options, I decided on Disappearing Inc because of all the positive reviews and the free consultation. I have undergone 10 treatments, and now I can say that I no longer have a tattoo! The tattoo was the length of my forearm, and all that remains there is clear skin (and hair). The staff is friendly, the prices are competitive and the pain is tolerable. Of course it's going to hurt, you are removing ink from your skin, but it's really not that bad. Nothing that would make me not want to do it again. My piece of advice: It's probably going to take the full treatment cycle they recommend. I know that I told myself, "They recommended X amount of treatments, but mine isn't that big / detailed, so it won't take that long." It will, and it will cost you time and some money, but if you really don't like it then it's worth it in the end right? My only regret is that I didn't come sooner! I love that the staff is very pro-tattoo, they don't want to help you rid yourself of your tattoos, they just want you to love the tattoos you have. They are friendly, professional, and honest. I went because I have a script tattoo that was inked poorly and was not what I had envisioned for it. I don't hate the tattoo but don't love and want to get additional work done so I wanted to see if I could fade it a bit. I wasn't put through a sales gauntlet - it was very casual and informal and I loved that. I was given an honest pre-consultation assessment - honest as in they told me that I couldn't fade between the lines of such a small tattoo and had I considered keeping it because it really wasn't as bad as I had been thinking. It was clear to me that I would either have to remove it or keep it but they left me in complete control of the decision. I was still on the fence so I asked for a formal consultation where they informed me a little bit about not only the science behind tattooing but their process for removal which was absolutely influential in deciding if this service is right for me. I decided to go with the removal. It took 10 seconds for my first session, literally. It was next to painless; they make sure that you're threshold for pain is respected and cool the area before applying the lasers to numb the sensation. On a scale of 1 to 10, my pain level was a 2. I've sat through hour long tattoo sessions where the pain level was a 9 so if you're brave enough to get the tattoo then removing it is a cinch. This place is fantastic! I would upload a photo of my progress thus far, but I just had my second session yesterday, so the results from that session will not be apparent for a few more weeks, as my immune system works to remove the ink particles. Disappearing Inc was recommended to me by my tattoo artist who will be attempting a coverup once the linework on my existing tattoo is lightened enough. I was immediately struck by how thorough and professional Jenna (my removal specialist) was. She took a comprehensive medical history to ensure there were no medical contraindications or other factors that would disqualify me from getting the laser removal. Before my first session, she took the time to explain exactly how the process works, even got into the detailed science and what to expect in terms of pain and aftercare. The cooling technique they use to numb the surface prior to application of the laser is SO EFFECTIVE. The actual laser treatment was super fast and felt like a rubber band being lightly snapped against my skin (it really didn't hurt at all). Healing after the first session was a piece of cake. I didn't notice any pain or scabbing. The second session was slightly more intense, but I only had a moderate amount of pain/soreness for the first 8 hours after. It felt fine after that. Finally, this business is honest and values integrity over $$$$. Jenna encourages me to check in with my tattoo artist between sessions so that I don't need to spend time/money on additional removal sessions if it's not entirely necessary. Overall, I'm super impressed with this place. Also - their COVID protocol is extremely safe. Only one person is allowed in at a time. You must fill out a screener prior to your appt. These folks are wonderful! I have a big, dark tattoo that didn't heal well and isn't aging well, lost some ink over time. It basically looks like my 13 year old did it. My tattoo artist recommended having it lightened to cover. Both of the sessions I have attended have been really good! The place is spotless but the vibe is comfortable, similar to a tattoo shop, and Jenna was great with the consultation, explaining the process, and doing the treatment itself. Very professional service, and very up front and honest about how long/how many sessions things will take. Very Petty. Paid for 9 treatment upfront in advance of any work being performed. There was a mixup in the time of one of the appointments. Charged for a missed appointment. $50 for a first time "missed" 25 minute appointment is outrageous. Was on my way but the time of the appointment was miscommunicated. read more

Disappearing Inc. went beyond my expectations. They make you feel comfortable and they educate you on the process, so you know what will happen and what to expect. I met with Eve for a consultation. She talked to me about the different skin types, where the tattoo ink sits in your skin, and how the laser reaches the ink to cause it to explode. I live on the Cape, and have been looking for a decent place to remove some tattoos that are about 12 years old. I have just returned from my first session, and I feel compelled to write this review! So here it goes: I called last minute (around 10:30am today) and Norela was able to fit me in at Framingham location. So, I drive 1.5 hours out for my consultation. I arrive and the place is really cute and eclectic. Norela is very welcoming, kind and knowledgable. I was slightly anxious, but felt calm after talking to Norela. Eve and Norela speak to me about the process, what to expect, pricing. I felt very confident about their ability, Eve was able to answer all my questions (I had a bunch) and her answers were honest. She wasn't able to give me a specific amount of sessions required for my tattoo removal, but gave me a decent range and also their "guarantee" price is reasonable. Specifically I want to point out that I have 3 tattoos and one is color. Eve made it clear that she could guarantee the black ink, but at this time not the color ink. I appreciated her honesty. I don't want to go somewhere that gives me false promises. So after I asked my 1000 questions, I decide to do a session for all 3 tattoos (all under 2 inches). The procedure area is CLEAN. I am a medical professional and immediately upon entering the room, I spy in the corner of the treatment room the EXACT same cleansing wipes we use in the emergency department (awesome!!). I notice her put gloves on, and after my session she cleans the procedure bed with one of those wipes. This might not mean a lot to everyone, but nothing more satisfying then knowing that they have high quality standards in cleanliness. So, during the session, the area was cleansed, then cooled, then within 60 seconds my first tattoo was lasered. I would say pain was between a 2-3/10. I was SO surprised. I have heard horror stories.
