They also have some of the happiest wait staff around, further influencing the positive experience. The home fries here are the best in the state, hands down. Fluffy in the middle, crunchy on the outside. To me, they're reminiscent of a good Jo-Jo potato wedge. Their buffalo home fries are even better, with the perfect amount of spice and salt. This is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants in Rhode Island!! There has been plenty of times that I have came but the wait was too long so I just choose somewhere else but I am always disappointed. My favorite part of the meal from here is always the coffee! I came here with a couple of friends on a Saturday afternoon to have late breakfast. It was pretty packed when we arrived but after about 20 minutes our party of 7 was seated. We all made sure to look over a menu before being seated so we ordered right away. The waitress was very nice and attended to our every need. We received all of our food about 25 minutes later and everything was delicious! The pancakes were super fluffy and the cinnamon sugar butter was AMAZING! I'm still thinking about it today. The only thing that I would complain about would be their water. It has a weird taste that's very unpleasant. If you wanted any kind of water you would have to settle for sparkling water. This is THE PLACE to go if you are looking for a great, quality breakfast with good sized portions for a reasonable price. The place was crowded as I would have guessed, even though it was a Monday morning at 11:30am people were waiting outside. The process to put your name in was a little disorganized because it wasn't clear where to give your name, and to make matters worse the hostess disappeared outside for a while. We were quoted 25 min wait, but got seated in about 15 min. While waiting I used the restroom, and its a one person restroom, but they might want to consider realigning the door because you have to slam it to close and lock it. We were seated in a really comfortable, airy and colorful room with a window view. The seats were comfortable too. I ordered coffee, orange juice, scrambled eggs with home fries, bacon and white toast. Everything was perfect and the service was good too. Aside from the bathroom door and confusing seating / entry area, I highly recommend it and consider it one of my go to breakfast places. read more

The menu change and renovation changed a bit too much for me: no more bulbous coffee mugs, no warm apples as a side, and today no rye bread and no bagels. What?! The breakfast sandwich was served on bread that was too thinly sliced to balance the cheese and egg. The hash browns had no onions, and no spice at all; just meh. Pancakes were fine but still nothing special. I liked my fresh fruit, but mourned those apples just a little. I don't think this place is worth the hype. I've been to T's on two occasions and I was far more impressed the first time before they changed everything to appear to be "classier". My family and I went this past Sunday for breakfast and waited approximately 35 minutes for a table. I think collectively the best part of our experience was talking with the patrons who were also waiting for a table and debating whether or not they should take their business elsewhere. We were sat fairly close to the time they quoted for us but once we got the menu everything sort of went downhill. The menu is small, lacking most of your brunch and breakfast favorites and the prices are expensive. Our server was great. He was attentive and immediately brought us coffee which I appreciated. They also had an amazing French Toast coffee that I would highly suggest to flavored coffee lovers. Once we decided what we had wanted off the small selection of items on the menu, we ordered and it took about 30 minutes to get our food. I thought the food was okay but for the price of the meal you would think the portions would be huge and they weren't. We weren't given butter for our toast which we were told came with our meal and they didn't have a large selection of hot sauces like most breakfast places do just one specific to Rhode Island. I definitely don't think this is the worst experience I've ever had with a breakfast place in RI,but I've certainly had better. If I go back it will only be to utilize the coupon I got through yelp for checking in which by the way you cannot use on Sundays. read more

Went to breakfast at T's last weekend with my family. My mother, who just had double knee replacement, leaned down to pick up the pen from signing the credit card receipt and the chair broke. When she fell no one came to help her up, 2 servers just basically stood there watching. The manager came over and swooped the chair out very quickly and left. We left and no one said a thing or really apologized. We went outside and she was a little embarrassed and wanted to go, but we had caught a glimpse of the chair before (Brian?) the manager took it away. When we got outside my moms knees were really bothering her so we went back in. The manager said it was the chair company's fault and he was going to call them right away (on a Sunday.....umm....probably not). The assistant manager took my moms information and promised a response within a few days. There was no genuine apology until the assistant manager came over. But no one ever called. Attached you can see the image that the chair had clearly been poorly put back together. A gift certificate or even someone just calling to make sure she was ok would have been nice. Or maybe helping her up off the ground, etc. she's still having some knee pain but I did wait a full week to write This review to see if anyone would call. read more

The first thing I said walking in was wow it smells amazing in here. You could just smell all the goodness being cooked.
