Tryst Cafe - Avocado toast with chicken sausage and tryst benedict. Mimosa included! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Chandler, Arizona

I honestly think it's over priced for what you get. I have been twice and both times I enjoyed my meals but neither time was I overwhelmed. Service is good and it's very pleasant inside. I wanted to love it because it's not far from my house. Anyway I won't be rushing back. I certainly would go if someone wanted to meet me there. read more

First time here. Saturday morning and was able to sit right away. Nice Bloody Mary special. Had it with the horseradish vodka. We got the breakfast burrito (chorizo) and the chorizo & eggs. Both were very good. Good coffee too. As a bonus they have a DJ on Sat mornings. Not too loud so perfect for some tunes and still able to have normal conversations. Great friendly and attentive service from Laura. Ask for her section. read more

I am updated my review to give this location 5 stars. Only my second time here but really enjoyed both visits. Today I tried the falafel with eggs (but I don't eat egg so I just had the falafel served with pita, tahini and a sweet cauliflower garnish which was delish). But the real star was the avocado toast....so amazingly delicious, I would come here just for that! It was truly amazing. Staff is super friendly and the owner seems very involved, willing to get his hands dirty and help out. second time we got Caelynn (by chance) and shewas great both times! we definitely recommend and will be back!!!! Ask for Caelynn and Dwight! read more

I was really hoping that the food was going to be better here. Not sure if they were having an off night or not on 4/26, but the food was honestly not that good. My one daughter had the turkey club on a ciabatta. Not sure how they made the bottom piece so soggy as ciabatta is a pretty dense bread. The turkey was also on the dry side. I had a Ruben and again the bottom piece was very soggy. I think that they had it soaking Isome juice, which is fine but toast the bread some more so it is not lake a damp spounge. The bread was also way over buttered. My other daughter had a burger and we asked for medium well as she is younger. The burger came our medium rare and she said there was a lot of butter on the buns. Both my and my one daughters fries were lukewarm. My wife a said that her pork tacos were pretty good. Again, I wanted to like this place as I had heard some good things about it. Maybe it was an off night for them, but I think this is a one and done place for me. read more

Yum. I'm working my way through the menu so more reviews and pics to come. The beer battered green beans are my favorite so far, hot, crispy and perfectly seasoned. The Lox delight is really delicious, light but filling. So happy Tryst is so close to our house. Looking forward to making this our local go to! read more

The quality of the food had gone down and my to go "chicken" salad didn't have any chicken. Too many choices nearby so we won't go back.

We came in for Easter Brunch and everything was wonderful. We had a group so a pretty wide array of things... a latte, beers, oatmeal, a salad, Tryst Benedict... all fantastic. But the absolute best thing was the seafood stack special. AMAZING! Service was great. Our server was very knowledgeable about the food, and was able to give an educated description of each beer on tap. The owner came over TWICE to check on us and chat. Really nice guy, and great to see him on the floor. The environment is very airy and light. Love the indoor/outdoor feel. They had a DJ spinning, and I'm not sure if that's a regular thing or just for the holiday, but he was great. Not too loud so we could still have a conversation, but created a great vibe in the place. We will be back! Love to have a great local business in the neighborhood! read more

We have now tried this place 2x. 1st time we tried the Corned Beef & Hash which was good, I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes but my wife liked them. The pancakes were good but they forgot the blueberries so our waitress offered to make more but we were half way done so she took them off our bill & gave us a $5 coupon. 2nd visit I had the Lox Delight & it was very good loaded with fresh Salmon. My wife had the Monte Cristo sandwich & it was loaded with Ham. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice & great coffee. Nice to have a place with different menu items and healthy choices plus the staff is friendly & attentive. read more

The very first time I went to Tyrst the food was amazing. We sat at the bar and the drinks and service was also great. There was a gentleman making the drinks at the bar. Every drink We ordered came out on point. The mocha martini he made me was delicious Went there for breakfast....Breakfast was awful will never go back again. Food is horrible. Couldn't even eat my food. There was three of us and non of us liked the food quality. Went a third time for lunch and there was a lady at the bartender. Food was great but man the drinks were just horrible! She did not know what she was doing. I ordered a mocha martini. God knows what it was I got. Looked nothing like or tasted a chocolate or a mocha martini. When I asked her why it wasn't creamy, she added some milk to my martini. Which made the drink look like milk was added to water. Just gross. It was very disappointing. I haven't been there since. read more

Very busy and food took a while, but great service! We sat at the bar and the drinks were flowing and we were feeling the great vibes of Sunday. The atmosphere in the place is really quite nice. Food wise my meal was wonderful - I had the shrimp Benedict and it was so so tasty! My wife's meal unfortunately was not so tasty - for her traditional breakfast she ordered sausage patties and poached eggs and the poached eggs were soooooo vinegary like the whites tasted like straight up vinegar and the sausage patties had zero salt / flavor and the toast was cold and hard. We had to send her food back because it was not edible and then she just nibbled off mine. We will come back again and she'll just try something else. read more

I got the tryst Olmert food was bland. Service sucks! When you talk to their server to ask for something they ignore you and they never come check to see how are things going. read more

Great breakfast place. First customers on grand opening. Laura and Sean (managers) were so very nice and friendly. They hire well. Make great drinks and look for honest feedback. I ordered the Ruben sandwich and it was okay. It would have been better toasted with more melty cheese. The fries are okay. My dad got the pancakes and sadly they were dry. When he asked for a refill on his coffee it was barely warm. My mom had the BLT wrap and she was satisfied-ish. She opted for the sweet potato hash in place of fries. That was a mistake. The sweet potatoes pieces were barely cooked. It was not an enjoyable experience. read more

Cool place...gonna keep trying it out. Food is good. Its all organic so it's pricey but for those willing to pay extra it's cool. read more

I was not impressed with this restaurant at all. The prices are ridiculous for what you're getting, especially considering the portion sizes. We ended up spending over $60 for two meals with no additional faff. The food tasted okay, but nothing otherworldly. The seating was cramped and my friend had to sit squeezed in next to a patio heater even though it wasn't in use. Definitely not returning. read more

Tried this place with a friend a few days ago. We waited quite a while to be sat, but they were busy. It was a Wednesday afternoon at 1. It was a long while before our order was taken. My friend was ordering and the server walked away in the middle so she never got to order her French toast. They have canned soda, so no refills. I ordered the avocado toast. It was good, but pricey for what you get. It was one piece of toast with avocado and an egg. With the diet soda and tip, the bill was $23. I have had much better breakfasts for a lot less money. read more

Incredible hospitality! Everything was absolutely terrific from the ambiance, to the food, the speed, the staff. Loved the creative menu selection with the gluten-free options, the fresh light cocktails and the speed of service despite the large event I was hosting was absolutely on point. Food and service were great. Very excited about great vegan options. The only negative is the volume of music. The Reuben is fantastic but strangely only toasted on one side. Not sure about that, but regardless the bread is fantastic. Other half ordered the breakfast nachos, and although they were cold on one half of the plate (??? Still puzzled about that) they were delicious. The fries here are more of the crunchy fried variety than the pillowy potato-y type, so soft wedge fry lovers beware. But I'm really here to commend the service! Our waitress Kiara was the sweetest, kindest, most prompt waitress I've ever had. She talked us into bottomless mimosas and by the end of brunch I was tipsy and in also a little in love with her. All of the service we received here was fantastic and accommodating! I just hope they microwave the nachos a bit longer next time. read more

This place has great potential as the food and atmosphere are great. However, we've now been there 3 times, hoping they improve the service, and again we're disappointed by the service. This is management and the owners fault. They are falling short and failing to recognize they are operating on a skeleton crew. We've seen them have to come multiple parties for their food. Why not add my staff, improve your service level, and max out the cap rate? Too, too read more

Pork tacos and riblets were amazing. Don't order the brussel sprouts, they were overpriced and soggy. Update: I've never met a brussel sprout I didn't like, except for the ones I ordered the other night. They would have been much tastier if they were roasted and not soggy. The one saving grace was the dried cranberries. Don't worry, those sprouts won't keep me from coming back. We loved the rest of the food and the concept. I'd like to see you up your sprout game. read more
