Like that right there feels weird!! The broker also mentioned not to call my bank to get my money back either.. It was mentioned, If i qualify it will be used as a down payment towards the fees.. but still. I personally wasn't comfortable with giving $1k for an "application". Rather than receiving transparent answers or supporting documentation, I was repeatedly told the requirements were "non-negotiable," threatened with fines, and ultimately informed that management would "not engage further" because the conversation had become "repetitive." As a shareholder, asking reasonable questions about building policies, insurance requirements, and risk management should not be treated as an inconvenience. At no point was any actual explanation provided regarding whether these limits were based on insurer recommendations, legal counsel, lender requirements, claims history, or any formal analysis. Instead, responses felt dismissive, defensive, and unnecessarily combative. Professional property management should include transparency, accountability, and respectful communication with residents -- especially when imposing financial requirements and penalties. I hope ownership takes shareholder concerns more seriously moving forward and improves how management communicates with residents.

I was being bullied, targeted and harassed by the assigned building manager and super. The CEO did nothing about this. I suffered so much. My building looks horrible since they took over and they wanted to raise maintenance, annually. The best decision the board made was to sever ties with this management company.

I was advised to call parkchester security which I did. The lady during the lease signing advised me to check to make sure the tenants have rugs or carpeting covering their floors. ( They clearly do not have rugs or carpeting) It sounds like a fat heavy elephant is walking around. When my parents moved into parkchester decades ago it was a requirement for tenants. People blast music without any consideration for their neighbors. My floor thank goodness so far is quiet but the constant noise from above my apartment is crazy. Parkchester will not be able to retain decent tenants with these kind of people living here. Also they charge 3000 dollars to break your lease. I had a housing connect apartment which I turned down for this I should have listened to my daughter and taken the housing connect apartment. I've been here less than a month and I am ready to move. The building I grew up in people I knew cared about parkchester and tried to keep it nice I see that has changed unfortunately its sad to see what used to be a nice place to live is like the projects now.
