My fav dive bar. Street parking. Nearby a metro station tho. Enjoy this place. Dogs are still allowed inside. The neighborhood place

Stopped by after seeing their brunch menu online. Came in and sat at the bar. Was greeted and provided a menu different from what was posted online. The drink options were extremely limited. I ended up trying one of their canned cocktails, a Suncruiser. This was based on the bartender's recommendation. I also tried the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich.

Solid buffalo chicken cheesesteak, good ambiance, and overall true dive bar vibes :)

34 check-ins later and probably some I forgot to log but it's still 5 stars all around. They're constantly updating their menus and accommodating customers. The service continues to be unmatched and between Tony and Andrew our experiences always end in a good night!

When it comes to a good quality dive bar Trusty's really can't be beat. The only downside is that it is so far away from my house ha ha. Whenever I'm there I like to come upstairs so that you hang out in the really cool converted school bus area, but they also have booths and more space downstairs as well as some outside seating out on the sidewalk. I like that the drinks are cold and simple, and the food is decent especially considering it's a dive bar. Back when I used to live in Southeast I came here all the time but now that I'm in Northwest it's harder to get out that way, but now that the Potomac Avenue metro stop area is getting more businesses I can envision myself spending more time in the neighborhood.

Fantastic dive bar in a not super touristy part of town. The beer is cold and well priced. The upstairs bar is unique.

First time stopping here! What a fun, local bar!…read more It was St Patrick's Day and I wanted a Reuben. Tune Inn was named a couple times, so I checked it out! Ordered through the Toast app. Easy to order and customize with type of bread and wither corned beef or turkey. Comes wit fries but I upgraded to onion rings for a $1 more. When I got there, it was hopping! What a fun, celebratory vibe for St Patrick's Day! Fun energy, green cups, and happy people! It's a smaller space, with the bar upfront and seating in the back half. I was helped quickly from one of the bartenders. She went to check on my order and while she was gone I had two other employees ask if I needed help - super friendly and willing to help! I happened to meet the owner, Lisa, who was awesome and introduced me to some of her team. It gave such a fun family feel with everyone there and how I wish I could have stayed for a beer! Next time for sure! The Reuben lived up to what I hoped it would be - balance of sauerkraut, corned beef, Swiss cheese, thousand island, and rye bread. Overall pretty lean meat, which is a huge plus for me. The onion rings - yum! Crispy but still thick onions for a good bite and a nice saltiness to bring out the flavor. There were 6 large onion rings. I'd absolutely order this again in the future! Excited to return there with friends in the future!

The vibe is incredibly cozy, with lots of paintings and decorations that made me feel like I was in someone's (very large) living room. Union Market has this magical ability to convince you you're fancy. You start the night sipping a…read more$22 cocktail with a garnish that looks like it was harvested by a fairy wearing linen. For a solid hour, you're like, "Wow... I am bougie like they say." Then the bartender calls out "Last call!" And as you take one final dramatic sip of your fancy drink, the lights come on like someone just hit the emergency button and whoa. Wait just one minute, I don't want to go home. That's when the migration begins. In Union Market, there's a place where all the local residents take their talents once the posh restaurants shut down and that place is Last Call Bar, the bar that welcomes you and your rapidly declining standards with open arms. And the food? Oh, the food is a spiritual journey. They kick things off with Jell‑O shots, which already tells you exactly what kind of night you're about to have. But it gets even better. They have food and the menu is full of options only a person who drank 5 cocktails could truly appreciate, the kind of late‑night masterpieces that would horrify you at noon but taste like gourmet brilliance after midnight. I'll take a hot dog please! The vibe is pure "we should've gone home but didn't" energy. The music is loud enough to drown out your responsibilities. The crowd is a mix of restaurant refugees, people who swore they were having an early night, and folks who are definitely lying to themselves about how early they have to wake up. It's a diverse crowd. More on the younger side but a sprinkle of adults that have kids in college or corporate jobs. The bartenders deserve awards for dealing with customers who insist they're "totally fine" while holding onto the bar like it's a support beam. And honestly? That's the magic. The best memories happen during the real happy hours of our days, bedtime hours, when you're either having way too much fun in the sheets or making the kind of decisions you'll laugh about (or regret) the next day. Last Call Bar isn't curated. It isn't polished. It isn't pretending. It's the place where your bougie persona quietly steps aside and you says, "Let's get a hot dog". If you want a place where the night gets a second wind and your dignity takes a short break, welcome home. Let's get into it! Drinks - Perfectly made! Way to go to the bartender! Hot dog- at this late hour it tasted like a filet mignon! Give me another! Eeeek! A watering hole - every one needs a hole that waters! Xo

I came here for a first date that kept going after the other place we went to nearby was closing up for the night. We ran into her friends she recommended we get these Jell-O shots which already was a plus for me considering that most bars don't do Jell-O shots! And what's even better is there's an option where you can add Pop Rocks into them! Never in my 30 years of life did I ever consider adding Pop Rocks into a Jell-O shot but wow! It was incredible! Service has a bartender or two behind working the counter. The drinks are really cheap which you can't say much for DC area bars. The food menu I wish was a bit more expansive but if you just come here for drinks the menu is solid and price competively

They have a large beer, wine, and liquor list (although not nearly as many English beers as I expected from a place called Crown & Crow). I won't deny that I wasn't a fan of either of the mixed cocktails I had, with both (including strangely a smoky drink) being too sweet. But the beer was expertly poured and the wine was a very generous serving. The prices are also more than reasonable, which is great for a DC bar. But what really elevates this place is the service. By late night, the place was jam packed. But each and every bartender was extremely friendly and they expertly worked the crowd, getting drinks served quickly (which too few places manage to do) and swiftly clearing off tables of dirty glasses. I also greatly appreciated the free goldfish that they happily dole out to the patrons. The staff made this a really good time.

The bartender in the main room was great, he was very friendly and once he started a tab for me he said I could use the other bar too, I guess he wasn't aware the bartender at that other bar already told me she wouldn't help me. Regardless, the drinks we had were decent. For small bites, they only had gold fish crackers, I wish they would have had more to nosh on while drinking. Overall, not a bad visit.

I can't decide between 5 stars which my gut tells me OR 4 stars because the interior is so drab and dreary. Ultimately, I decided to give it 5 stars because the food was so good and the service was so lovely! So there - that is my decision! We returned to Mr. Henry's after a long hiatus and we found the food still among the best comfort food in the city. My spouse's blue cheese hamburger was juicy and meaty. The potato chips were crispy and not greasy (and tasted like real potatoes). The cole slaw was tart, a little sweet and a little tangy - just like it should be. A very good meal. For me, I had the pulled pork. OMG the pork was so good. Very moist, real meat and it had a luxurious barbecue sauce that neither overwhelmed the meat nor underwhelmed the sandwich! And the bun was toasted to perfection and held together perfectly under the moisture of all that delicious pulled pork. Really really good! One thing that struck both of us was how VERY good the service was! Naveeta was so friendly, so professional and so talkative (without ever interrupting us). She really added a great casual yet welcomed atmosphere to Mr. Henry's. She was able to help us navigate the menu. If our glasses got close to empty, she was right there for a refill! She is the consummate waitress to be sure! The other waiter (who did not wait on us) also seemed friendly and professional. How did they find such good people to work there??? The ambiance of the dining room leaves a little to improve on. It's not just old, it's run down. That doesn't stop me from loving the place and it will NOT stop me from coming back of course. But, it is, to be honest, not a good looking or modern dining room. It is comfortable though and that is consistent with the type of food you get here. It is not fine dining BUT the food is all SO DAMN GOOD that you really don't care! Is it a touch dirty looking? Maybe. But, again, I can overlook that if the food knocks my socks off (which it did). And when the service is great, I have to give this place its due. I guess that is the real reason Mr. Henry's has been around so long. Delivering great comfort food in a friendly and efficient way with a big smile on their faces! I highly recommend Mr. Henry's for a wonderful casual meal of comfort food in a great atmosphere!

Son and I both liked the grilled ham and cheese. The ham was great- just the right thickness and perfect blend of salty and sweet. The fried pickles were the perfect appetizer to take the edge off our hunger. My wife liked, but couldn't finish, her breakfast quesadilla. DIL enjoyed the waffle stacker. Wife said the waffle was delicious. One of the most historic places on Capitol Hill, friendly staff, good food, and a unique experience. Highly recommend!
