I've used a few different escrow companies over the years for both residential and commercial property sales and purchases and not all were good experiences. I was selling another property and just wasn't comfortable with the escrow company being suggested, especially after seeing their reviews on Yelp and Google. I was ready to fall back on one of the three escrow companies I have previously used, but was also surprised to find that their recent reviews were no longer impressing me, so I searched for a new escrow company and came across Lighthouse. There were lots of excellent real customer reviews, and they had a legitimate webpage that estimated my fees, a list of people working there with their bios, and the company felt very professional compared to the others. I was impressed that not only did somebody answer the phone, but they were also able to answer all my questions. After a few phone calls with Lighthouse, I requested them to be the new escrow company and the realtor and buyer both agreed. I can say without any doubts that my experiences with Danylle Hallahan at Lighthouse Escrow and her team were outstanding and exceeded anything I've experienced through several other escrow companies I've used. All the fees were clearly laid out before me, and there were no hidden fees. The best part was their communication. They immediately sent me a timetable informing me of when specific things in this process are supposed to happen along with their contacts incase I had any questions. Everybody was kept in the loop during the entire process, and if I had any questions, Danylle always answered her phone or got back to me shortly with answers. Danylle and everybody at Lighthouse was very professional, very helpful, very thorough and very timely throughout this entire process. I'll definitely use them again and highly recommend them as a trusted and professional escrow company.

While my parents introduced me to a family friend who was a real estate agent, I had no idea how to go about finding a loan officer! After digging through Yelp/Google, I stumbled upon Meridox Mortgage that had stellar reviews and took a chance. I called Meridox and was put in touch with Trung Tran. I let him know that I didn't have any knowledge of how the house-buying process works, but he was incredibly supportive and assured me he would walk me through every step. Shortly after we finished talking on the phone, he sent me a list of items to provide for the pre-approval letter. Trung's turnaround was quick. I sent him my information in the evening and got the letter the next morning. My real estate agent used this letter to draft the offer...it was accepted! After my offer was accepted, the rest of the process was somewhat nebulous, but my real estate agent worked closely with Trung to help me through. Trung was with me every step of the way. He patiently explained how my monthly mortgage payment and closing costs were calculated and even helped me negotiate a home insurance offer. He even kept a close eye on the market and advised me when I should lock in the rate. I thought home buying would be more stressful, but it wasn't as bad as I thought because Trung made every step clear and was very on top of deadlines. From pre-approval to loan closing, it took just one month! Thank you Trung for being so diligent and patient in helping me secure my dream home! Trung was also very proactive in reaching out to me a few months later when interest rates dropped by about 1%. I had the honor of working with Trung again for my refinance, and it was also efficient and painless! I recommended Trung to my coworker recently when she was looking to buy a condo. Highly recommended to anyone who is in a market for a house to look into Meridox!! Thanks again for your hard work, Trung!!!

A little background: I did 2 house purchases, and 1 house sale by myself without a realtor before engaging Meridox. I didn't need handholding, because I was not a first-time buyer. I wanted an advisor who can give me an honest opinion as to pricing, knows the neighborhoods, and can negotiate with the seller's agent. Linh was so on top of things. She understood that I was busy and scheduled multiple showings for me on weekends. She mapped out our route, so we can be efficient with time. She never asked me to consider any property that was outside my price range or not what I was looking for. I was able to knock out many home viewings with her, and we put in a couple of offers. I saw a house that fell out of escrow. I messaged her, and she was immediately on it. She showed me the house, called the seller's agent, and basically convinced the seller to take my offer that was a tad below listing that either that same day or the next. (OC is a hot market, so this was an incredible deal! My other offers all sold above listing.) She was incredibly responsive, super sharp, and very easy to work with. I used Meridox as my mortgage broker as well and used them again to refinance a year later. Very seamless and easy transaction. Forget all the agents who claim to "treat you like family." Choose Meridox: the true professionals.

We first met Liz in September 2025, and from the very beginning, we were incredibly impressed. What immediately set her apart was her approach to pricing the home. Rather than relying solely on neighborhood comps like most agents, she used a sophisticated valuation system that factored in the home's condition, upgrades, and improvements over time. She walked us through how the software evaluated renovations such as kitchen and bathroom updates, roofing projects, and other investments by considering when the work was completed, what was spent, and the local return on investment. It was fascinating to see such a detailed and thoughtful approach to determining the home's true market value. During that first meeting, Liz also took the time to thoroughly explain the market conditions and discuss the best timing for listing the property to maximize its value. She confidently told us that once listed, the home would likely sell within three to four weeks. After months of preparing the house, which included cleaning out more than 50 years of memories and belongings, we finally listed the property in April 2026. Throughout the entire process, Liz provided exceptional guidance every step of the way. She was knowledgeable, patient, and never once pushy. She always presented us with information and options, allowing us to make informed decisions while trusting her expertise. That trust paid off. Just as she predicted, we received multiple offers and sold the home within three weeks! Liz exceeded every expectation we had. She made what could have been an overwhelming and emotional experience feel smooth, peaceful, and manageable during a very stressful and heartbreaking time for our family. Her professionalism, compassion, and dedication are truly unmatched. Elizabeth Do is a gift, both in her work ethic and in her humanity.
