If there was a negative rating I'd give it!
This review will speak specifically about an agent, KIM SA....., an agent at this location.
Our homeowners & community management company have requested numerous times from emails, phone calls, speaking to several representatives, including Kim, to please stop putting flyers on our doorstep & trashing our community.
The community went as far as having posted & placed new "NO SOLICITING" signs on all 3 entrances to the PRIVATE driveways. Each Representative of First Team Real Estate, including Kim, rudely told the management company & our homeowners to go fly a kite, stating "I [Kim] will do what I damn well want to do and there is nothing you can do about it." If that isn't rude & arrogant nothing is!
Kim doesn't want to understand (or care) that it is her actions which are: devaluing our homes by having her littered flyers everywhere; notifies burglars of who is & isn't home by the trash left at the front doors; promotes package theft; deposits these far too often; reports were that one homeowner stated they slipped & fell on her glossy flyer. If that was an elderly person, Kim's actions would have hospitalized them; and countless homeowners are angry, it all goes straight to their trash cans.
Kim hires teenage kids for $20 to distribute her said flyers. MANY homeowners, including myself, ask them to please leave when we see them, (and I paid one what she paid them as I felt bad for her) only to have new ones come back. It's an awful conundrum to put a homeowner in.
Kim made a comment on a group Facebook page [I am now blocked on because of the above] about our painting of the buildings and continued to tell us that it would devalue our home prices. That's hypocritical of you as does YOUR SOLICITING/LITTERING OF YOUR FLYERS, that we repeatedly ask you to stop!
First, it's not your home, but you feel like we owe you & this is your community as you so clearly wrote on Facebook. Let me remind you Kim, it is not 'your community'. Are you, Kim, paying homeowners dues, taxes or mortgages or for that matter, do you even live here? I think not!
Why don't you resort to mailing them, no one here would have any objection to that?
We've contacted our city's code enforcement and found out what we can do.
Several actions are available to us in the meantime.
One: Call the police and have any person (which could be her contracted teenagers) distributing said flyers ARRESTED.
In this changing world and times, we are faced with email spammers (thank goodness for anti-spam laws), now we have robocalls (which is in ruling now), and you put new meaning to front door litter and solicitation. Wikipedia defines No Soliciting Signs - Residential as it is ILLEGAL to ignore no soliciting signs with the BURDEN typically resting upon the SOLICITOR to look for the sign and upon observation to VACATE the premises without attempting to contact the homeowner. Whether you knock on our door or leave your trash at the front door it is construed as contact.
Two: Contact the California Board of Realtors where one files a formal complaint. read more
