Was referred to Kars Today and visited the location several times before deciding what type of car to buy. This place left me a very happy customer. Big takeaways: -Professional and courteous. Then we met JT. JT apparently believes he is operating the Ferrari of dealerships, because the price he wanted for this car was absolutely laughable. He even tried comparing Affinity Auto Sales to CarMax and Toyota. I literally laughed out loud. Sir... respectfully, know your audience and know your dealership. Here's another interesting little detail: the car has been sitting on their lot for 147 DAYS. Apparently 147 days wasn't enough time to convince anyone to pay the inflated price, but somehow we were supposed to believe this was a deal we couldn't walk away from. Spoiler alert: we walked. And THANK GOD we did. Before buying, we did what every smart consumer should do -- we researched the dealership and read the reviews.After seeing the number of complaints and concerning experiences involving vehicles sold there, we became extremely uncomfortable with the idea of doing business with them. At that point, the ridiculous price wasn't even the biggest red flag. The attitude was. JT came across as arrogant, condescending, and completely disconnected from reality when it came to the value of the vehicle and the reputation of the dealership. Trying to put Affinity in the same sentence as CarMax and Toyota was probably the funniest part of the entire experience. JT, if the car has been sitting there for 147 days, maybe the problem isn't that customers don't recognize a "great deal." Maybe they're recognizing one when they see it -- and walking away when they don't. We came prepared to buy a car. We left extremely grateful that we didn't. So here's my advice: READ THE REVIEWS.
