Here's why our experience has been superior to previous companies: All three specialists were not only punctual, friendly, and courteous, but they took their time to evaluate our issues in CLEAR layman terms corroborated by photos, and showing us exactly where the problems were in person. We previously obtained a quote from a large corporate company and was left feeling dumbfounded and stressed as they described the nature of our problem in engineering, technical jargon that made absolutely no sense, including astronomical quotes without explanation of the work entailed. We continued experiencing intermittent issues with our AC and heater so we called Friends & Family based on their excellent reviews. This time around, with Friends & Family, we left feeling knowledgeable and reassured, with reasonable quotes including various discount eligibility. The first quoted me an absolutely ridiculous price that would have cost an arm and a leg. The second guy offered to do it for cheap but he couldn't figure out the issue so he just disappeared and never showed up. Kevin and Milo came in and had to clean up the mess left by the previous contractor, then thoroughly tested all the zoning, dampers, and zoning board to actually diagnose what was going on. On top of that, Kevin noticed my thermostat wasn't functioning properly and replaced it on the spot, explaining exactly why it was causing problems. I begged him to send someone out on a Saturday - so rare! He said he could put a bandaid on it and keep revisiting the issue or we could invest in a new unit and even lower our electricity bill that way. We took the second option - and we are glad we did! AJ, Pablo and Marco came bright and early on Monday to work on everything. As I worked from home, I did not hear a peep from them. They did everything quietly and were a well-oiled machine.
