    I can't thank Lindsey and her team enough for helping to bring our wedding vision to life. She was with us every step of the way, providing expert guidance and helping to navigate any issues that came up, as they do. Her team handled everything from the logistics to the vendors, rentals, and all of the minor details that add up to make a big impact. And on the day of, her team managed everything so my husband and I could be present and enjoy our special day. We were thrilled with how everything turned out and couldn't be happier with the results. I'd work with her again in a heartbeat and recommend Trunks & Tales to anyone looking for a creative, talented and professional wedding planning team.

    Lindsey and the team helped us plan my baby shower from ideation to execution. She was right there with us every step of the way, offering amazing suggestions, while still hearing what we wanted and bringing our vision to life. She was super helpful and flexible with all of our little requirements and even went out of her way to replace some items that the wind had knocked over on the day of (no fault of anyone but nature). Truly we wouldn't have had such an amazing event without her excellent planning and execution!! 10/10, highly recommend!

    We rented the cutest boho table from Trunks & Tales! All of the big rental spots were sold out and Lindsey came to the rescue.The rental was easy and reasonably prices. She even offered decorative details to make my daughter's' birthday extra special. It was a great experience for us.

    Lindsey and team planned the most amazing spooktacular birthday. It was truly an incredible event and I was in awe of all the attention to detail. The team did full service from design to sourcing to every single detail even kids gift Halloween buckets. Will be using them again for all my events!

    I was able to get married this past year during the Pandemic all because Lindsey helped me make it happen. I can't even begin to explain the number of hurdles we faced together, from COVID shutdowns to California wildfires, pivoting our plans 100 times with very little time. Lindsey was so on top of everything -- she came to the table with creative solutions and ideas, and always remained calm, hopeful and encouraging in stressful situations. Her general attitude and quick thinking made me feel really confident and supported as a client. Lindsey has EXCELLENT contacts in the industry - she introduced us to fabulous vendors whom we loved and would use again and again. We used Trunks and Tales rentals for our wedding venue as well, and loved the gorgeous pieces she has available. Lindsey was due with a baby the day of my wedding (delivered the following day), but made a point to FaceTime me and congratulate / check-in with me on my wedding day. That is the type of amazing human that she is! Dedicated and so caring until the very end. She is a true gem and I highly recommend working with Trunks & tales :-)

    Lindsey of Trunks & Tales is amazing. We worked with her for our backyard wedding and she and her team made the day wonderful and seamless. We didn't have to worry about details we had planned or any loose ends with our vendors. Lindsey was knowledgeable about what we needed for our event and what the staff would need to be prepared. When my friends and I were deep in conversations, I forgot we were in a closed room and it felt like we were sitting at a table in a forest instead! We loved all the fun and pretty details in the woodland room. We loved the other rooms too and appreciate how we were able to walk through all of them, take pics, and play around! We loved all of the food and drinks that were served. We had blueberry scones, tea, lemonade, various finger sandwiches, salad, cheesecake, and sparkling cider. We were able to take home the leftover food and we had plenty to eat between the 6 of us. Denise is friendly and easy to communicate with both via email and in person. I'm so glad I reserved her woodland room for my bridal shower. She made the day feel so special and fun! I would recommend Pretty Tea Parties for anyone interested in doing an unforgettable get together! I hope to book with Denise again for future celebrations! :)

The attention to detail is impeccable, and there's plenty of parking out front. The food is high quality, from the salads and sandwiches to the desserts. The teas themselves are fairly basic, and I recommend letting them know about any allergies ahead of time otherwise they can get a bit ruffled. That said, they do offer gluten-free options, and their gluten-free scone was fabulous!

As a DJ, I've been part of my fair share of complex productions--but this event? This one had layers. We're talking immersive design, multiple performances, theatrical moments, choreographed timing, lighting cues, and the kind of attention to detail that would make Broadway stage managers sweat. And yet--through every twist, change, last-minute curveball, and behind-the-scenes chaos--Andrea stayed calm, composed, and genuinely joyful. That smile never left her face. It wasn't just impressive; it was inspiring. What struck me most was Andrea's emotional intelligence and natural leadership. She wasn't just checking off a list--she was reading the room, checking in on vendors, comforting the family, and still had the foresight to ensure every beat of the evening landed with intention. For us as DJs, a successful event relies heavily on the planner's clarity, timing, and communication. Andrea excelled at all three. Her cues were crystal clear, her flexibility never compromised the bigger picture, and her collaboration felt seamless. It's rare to find someone who can hold both the creative and logistical sides of event production in perfect harmony. Andrea is that rare gem. And beyond the work, there's a real human connection there--a warmth that draws people in, makes vendors want to go above and beyond, and creates the kind of synergy that guests can feel, even if they don't see it.     Ann Saavedra was our day-of wedding coordinator. Our wedding was a great success. I felt that Ann…read morewas not adequately detail oriented for the size and complexity of our event, although ultimately everything turned out great. Pluses: 1. Ann is friendly and professional. She made me feel special during the planning process. 2. We technically had not paid her for wedding planning- only for the day of coordination - but she was happy to meet with me at length before the wedding and also met with the florist and my sister who was involved in the planning. She made a special site visit and made helpful suggestions to my sister. 3. Ann appears to be very experienced. She thought of issues to consider during the wedding planning which I never would have thought of including considering how to position readers in the ceremony seating arrangement, where parents most likely should sit, etc. She similarly gave helpful suggestions for the order of the procession. She recommended making lists of people to pick up centerpieces, leftover cake, and other equipment from the wedding so that the day of went more smoothly. I felt that her suggestions helped us feel more relaxed on the day of the event because many things were "taken care of." 4. When my sister discovered at the last minute that the chairs that arrived were incorrect, Ann spent time with the vendors and helped correct the problem. Behind the scenes, she took care of everything and I didn't even know about it. Minuses: 1. During the pre-wedding preparation periods, I started to notice that she failed to read most of the emails I sent her or CC'ed her on to update her on changes in plans. 2. At the rehearsal I was shocked to find that she had a beautiful timeline and outline of all the details of the wedding which she didn't seem familiar with (I heard her daughter puts the packet together for her). She was inefficient in conducting the rehearsal due to lack of familiarity with the details. 3. The day of the wedding she was often not present or readily available, even when we called her cell phone. 4. She failed to make sure corsages and bouquets were available for the photos even though we followed her timeline so she should have known when to bring them. 5. I heard afterward that she snapped at a family member who came to kindly ask why the candles for the ceremony had been removed. 6. When the time of the bouquet toss came I realized that she had not made the toss bouquet available to me and she was unavailable at that time. I ended up using my real bouquet which luckily i was ok with parting with. Overall, I will say this- my wedding turned out beautifully. I didn't feel that this was really because of Ann, but I think that she may have done some behind the scenes work that helped. There weren't any major disasters, but I wondered if she would have been able to handle it if there had been. A simpler and smaller wedding may make for a different story. In addition, her strengths may be more in helping with the planning process than in the hectic day of coordination.

When my daughter was married in May 2013 we were lucky that Ann Saavedra was on board. Ann only wants it to be one of the most happiest days of your life. Details and getting things done so the bride wont worry why the salad is not there or when is the first dance. She is a lovely person and I highly recommend her to all my clients.
