Shana and Tanya truly helped our sons' b'nai mitzvah be as perfect a party as we could have hoped for. They'll take on as little or as much as you want, and also of highest value deal with all details on the event day so you can be a guest at your own party. I knew I wanted to be very involved with planning but that there would be a few things (e.g., decor) that I wouldn't be able to and/or interested in dealing with. We worked together to develop a concept for the decor and Tanya had amazing ideas for centerpieces, table cards, etc. We had a big snafu about six weeks ahead when our DJ (booked outside of SS) flaked on us. Tanya and Shana patiently listened to my ranting about this disappointing DJ AND had a new contact for us within the day. We hired their guy and he was amazing and different from the regular stable of DJs our Berkeley community experiences. We had a number of organized and calming check-in calls leading up to the day. They really thought of everything, even things like bathroom amenities for the temple and the party venue and a great idea for having guests sign the horah chairs instead of the typical blown-up photo that then gets stuck on a closet shelf.
