It had a Cambro product that fit my needs so dropped into the local store to see if they carried or could at least order. I asked a sales clerk about it, showed him the website with model number, but he wasn't sure if it would be available. He asked for my name and number to follow up so I gave him a business card. I have a hard time believing he NEVER called me back. I think CR does have a lot of products and it is fun to see all the toys we chefs like to play with. And yet as far as pizza is concerned I've been underwhelmed by their offerings for variety and depth. Now that's understandable. My shaver stopped holding the charge which I thought was because the batter needed changing and was ready to throw it out b/c I didn't want to deal with mailing it somewhere for servicing. He asked to keep the shaver to assess what exactly was wrong and found out it wasn't the shaver but the charging case that wasn't working. He also recommended new blades that helpled to improve my getting a closer shave. He's honest and trustworthy and very dependable. He gave me basic tips on recharging and cleaning. I was so thrilled with finding an honest and reliable customer service business, I brought several carving knives for service b/c I want to support their business. I had a couple of kitchen knives that needed sharpening, one a high-end knife and the other a cheap one. The owner, an elderly gentleman who gave off an aura of a supreme master of knives, carefully examined each knife and said he could sharpen both. I paid the fee and was told they would be ready in a couple days. Four days later I called and was told the knives were ready for pick up. Both were sharpened nicely, like new. The cheap knife, which originally had some damage to the blade, was repaired and looked like the day it was bought 20 years ago. We are happy to have both of these knives back in our kitchen, ready to slice away. While I was there, I asked if they had any kitchen scissors and I was shown a couple of options. The differences between them were explained so I could make the best choice. I bought a pair and have been very happy with them!

I got to the shop, he quoted for all 5 plus my chef knife, bread knife, cleaver and fillet from home, and within 30 minutes, my knives were ready. Great experience, cool shop and Melvin did a fantastic job in a fast amount of time. I will definitely be back when I add more secondhand knives to my collection.

He arranged a drop-off time and place and managed to get my knives back to me in less than a day.
