Create your own charcuterie $15, truffle cheese and truffle honey were my favorite paired with the prosciutto and red wine tasting

Walking through Pikes Place Market and stumbled upon Truffle Queen. So happy that we did, from the moment we walked in we were welcomed with a menu and some recommendations. The menu had a wide variety of sweet, white, red and sparkling wines to choose from. We decided on a Cab, Malbec, and Super Tuscan. All three reds were delicious and the pour was perfect. There was also a create your own charcuterie menu for $15, totally worth it everything paired so well with the wine. It's a beautiful store, I was blown away by the experience. 10/10 would recommend if in the area. Perfect date night spot especially if you want to get a bang for your buck.

The truffles are amazing and the service was above superb. I had a delicious affordable wine flight. The ambiance was great and quaint and cozy.

This is a small shop that specializes in truffles. They offer truffle tours with tastings. There was a tour guide with a fairly big crowd when I was there, so I felt the owner's attention was focused on them and I did not even receive an acknowledgment that I was present. I asked about prices and got the hand "wait." After looking around for a bit, my colleagues and I left.

5 stars for this awesome store across the street from Pikes Market in downtown Seattle. We stopped in to smell the delicious truffle infused products and sampled the intense truffle salt which we bought a bottle of plus an $11 bag to throw in my purse. Everything is imported from a Italy and they ship anywhere in the USA and probably internationally as well. You have to stop by!!

Service was great! Greeting upon walking in! Lady was super friendly enjoyed the slushy wine and the peach Bellini here wish they had it slushy style too. They have all sorts of truffle things which I absolutely love! Come and try out the slushes as you explore pike place market!

Black truffle - great on cheese or for use in making truffle aioli

Truffle Queen is a fun place to visit in Pike Place Market. In addition to truffle-focused goodies (olive oil, nut brittle, hot sauce, mustard, pesto, etc.), they have a ton of other non-truffle items for purchase. Check out their pasta, red sauce, infused olive oils, balsamics, chocolate, caramel sauce, and of course wine. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about the products in their store. I really like going to TQ to taste product samples as well as for wine tastings. I've found some really delicious products and wines that just had to come home with me. If you're heading to Pike Place Market, make a point to stop at Truffle Queen. You will be glad you did!

$10 tastings per person. 3 different pours!

Our wine-tender was great 10/10! Wine was amazing 10/10! Cute little bar top to sit at with your friend or partner right in the heart of Pikes Place market. Small spot but great finds! Try the Lili red sparkling wine, it's delicious!

    Wine flight!

Great wine selection, super fun truffle options, plus you can sit outside and have a wine tasting flight!

My friend and I visited Pike Place Market on a hunt for truffle oil, so we stopped by Truffle Queen (we learned about it on a local food tour). Marcus was super friendly and introduced us to the world of truffle products! It also happened to be during a time where they offered $5 glasses of wine on happy hour. I loved that I could explain exactly the type of wine I was looking for, and Marcus quickly identified the perfect one. Because I visited right before the COVID-19 food business closures, people did not have the ability to sample products on their own. Instead, Marcus served my friend and I samples of all the different truffle products at the counter. It was great sitting at the bar, drinking wine, and learning about each of the different truffle products. I ended up getting the Arrabbiata spicy tomato sauce, truffle salt (now a household staple), truffe pesto, black truffle oil, white truffle oil, white truffle cream, and a bottle of wine! The pricing might be considered high, but it's good quality pantry staples that will be long lasting, for at least the next 18 months. The pricing on the wine is very fair, and Truffle Queen offers wine specials: 3 bottles for $65, 6 bottles for $125, and 12 bottles for $225. This is because all the bottles of wine are similarly priced, so they can offer this great deal! Truffle Queen also offers shipping services, so I packed a box for my mom out of town to enjoy on her own. The package arrived at her home in Alabama in less than five business days, which was great. Now that I've visited Truffle Queen, I am addicted. While the product itself is fantastic, the customer service is equally as wonderful.

Everything was delicious. Especially the lamb chops - super fresh and delicious. We also ordered the lemon blueberry cake. I typically don't prefer lemon desserts but this was SO GOOD! Light and fluffy, almost like a light cheesecake. Service was outstanding. Our server coursed out our food perfectly. He checked on us consistently but was also aware that we were catching up, so he didn't interrupt unless needed. The location is right in the middle downtown and had a great vibe. PRE-CRUISE! 4.0…read more A cruise to Alaska is what brought us to Seattle! A day before embarkation, we decided to stay one night downtown, and Purple was conveniently located just across the street from the Fairmont Hotel and within walking distance of several hotels in the area. One of the reasons we chose this restaurant was its selection of vegetarian options, which was especially appreciated by our close friend. The vibe is quite inviting: dark wood and rich décor create a cozy atmosphere, while the tall windows flanking the front and side of the restaurant keep the space feeling open and airy. The bar is definitely the centerpiece of the room, featuring a dramatic two-story circular staircase adorned with hundreds of bottles of wine. We started the evening with a round of cocktails, just getting warmed up for the unlimited drinking that awaited us on the cruise. Our drinks were well crafted and enjoyed by all. For dinner, we had: * House Cut Fries * Beet Salad * Braised Short Rib ~ pappardelle, port cream, blistered tomato and sage * Shiitake & Pesto ~ orecchiette, scallion-cashew pesto, snap peas and Calabrian chili crisp * Bistro Burger ~ pure country beef, sharp white cheddar, crispy onions, black pepper & chive aioli and arugula * Risotto ~ stracciatella, zucchini, maitake mushroom, poblano and basil * Crème Brûlée ~ vanilla bean, turbinado sugar Everything was good; however, the service was even better. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the pacing of the dishes was perfect. Nothing felt rushed, yet we were never left waiting. Purple makes a great date-night spot, but it's equally well suited for gathering with a group of friends or co-workers. It's a lively, happy spot with a welcoming atmosphere; the perfect place to begin a Seattle stay before setting sail for Alaska.

This used to be one of my favorite spots at Pike Market. For years, I made it a tradition to bring out-of-town guests here. Over time, I have brought more than 100 people here. It had a charming, warm, and welcoming feel--like a hidden gem in the city. It oozed with kindness and fun. Unfortunately, that has completely flipped! Since the new manager, Anthony, took over, the entire atmosphere has shocked me. What was once inviting now is rigid, cold, and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the way I was treated. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was both surprising and disappointing given my long history with this place. Great establishments are built not just on food or ambiance, but on how people are treated--and that piece is clearly missing now. It's especially unfortunate because the rest of the team still shows glimpses of what this place used to be. Jordon, was genuinely kind and pleasant, but one positive interaction couldn't outweigh the manager's miserable attitude. It's hard to see a place that once felt so special lose its charm like this. I know the winemaker Paul is a great person - so it is hard to leave such a terrible review, but at the same time, if this was my place -- I would want to know what was happening behind the scenes at my establishment. I truly hope leadership reflects on how customer experience is being handled moving forward. Don't give money to places that have toxic attitudes and are joy crushers! Life is too short and far too precious! In the meantime, there are many nearby spots that consistently deliver both quality and incredible hospitality. Skip this place, and instead go to Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room, The Lonely Siren, The Pink Door, Place Pigalle, or Maximilien. Those places are working very hard to create an exceptional experience!
