This is my first experience and it was overall great! If you love floating like I do, it's a must. Everything is relaxing and calm. My body feels great and my mind feels chill. Thank you and I'm looking forward to next time.

I've known float therapy for years, but had never tried it until my boyfriend's mom gifted us one session. We showed up with no expectations, and the staff was very friendly and informative. We were quickly briefed with a video, and went straight to business! We each got a float room, equipped with a egg-like floating pod and a rounded Mosaic shower. First you cleansed yourself, then covered any wounds with Petroleum jelly (came in a small packet). This step is important because, trust me, it can hurt like hell! After those steps, you are ready to enter the pod and float! I was a bit wary at first, but quickly got comfortable. Personally I felt quite relaxed in there. The water was warm and the isolation provided much needed self-time. After the one-hour soak, I felt quite refreshed. Also I noticed a few eczema spot dried out nicely. To be honest I'm quite impressed with it and am starting to see the benefits of the float. I know it's not for everyone, as my boyfriend said he felt bored and restless. But if you want some time to reflect and relax, and can benefit from the healing/restoring properties of the epsom salt, I'd recommend it!

I don't know about the medical benefits, but my husband and I had a good time. They push the agenda of repeat sessions of course and tout that the health benefits kick in after several sessions, but even though this place is great I might not come back for awhile. The facility is great. A "Sensory deprivation tank" sounds scary, but a Float Pod at the spa sounds less intimidating. The secret to the floating is the outrageous amount of Epsom salts in the water. The reception, bathrooms, and float rooms all felt high quality. After a brief intro to the process you rinse off in their really nice shower next to the pod and put in the earplugs and get in the pod. It's really relaxing but an hour is a long time so you have to be mindful of your meditation. After the float they have warm tea in the lounge area and you can relax until you are ready to leave, or purchase a round at their oxygen bar when it opens.

I have always wanted to try REST floating. The opportunity when a friend reached out and told me about TrueREST Float Spa, not knowing that I am going through a really rough time and carrying alot of stressors. *WARNING: LONG REVIEW ALERT* I was greeted by a friendly face and a dope soul- Aleeza! The spa is clean and crisp and the perfect place for an amazing reset. Aleeza's incredible vibe and passion for spa and its guests radiates and blooms with positivity. Before you float there is some paperwork to over, you enter the spa where the lounge has a selection of teas, water, an oxygen bar, zen garden, handmade boho inspired artwork books and mindful activities. Through a door an down a hallway you go to watch an 8 minute video that goes over the concept of floating. The video covers the poses, goes over the controls you will have inside the spa itself. You are then taken to your suite. In the room is the "cocoon" if you will which is filled with a foot or less of water mixed with 1,000 lbs of epsom salt. Or as Aleeza put it- water saltier than my ex boyfriend. The room also has a shower supplied with body soap and shampoo. The wall has a placard that goes over instructions: shower to remove your body of any products, you can place vaseline in any cuts you may have to free from sting of salt to the wound queue that ex boyfriend ha... After your shower you will enter the cocoon. 3 buttons on the right inside allow you to control music, the lights which you can change or turn off, and a call button in case you need to contact the outside world. You crawl in the tub which is set to body temperature for comfort and close the lid. From here you trust the process the duration of your float. You can elect to have music throughout. FIRST FLOAT: 8/10/2022 I held no expectations. I climbed in and closed the lid. The music started and you can feel the pulse through the water- I rotated through the lights to find that I really felt more relaxed when I turned them off. The music played for the first 10 minutes and then turned off- a 5 minute warning at the end lets you know the float is coming to an end. After the music turned off I began to listen to my body and what it was telling me. My mind was drawn to the areas of my body in which I was carrying my stress and have been feeling stiff. I began to think about how hard I am on myself and my body and how far I have come in my physical health journey. It was truly eye opening. Upon exiting the pod I showered again to remove the salts and returned to the lounge area where I did the oxygen bar and chatted with Aleeza. **If you are Veteran or healthcare worker you get to float for free 1x every 6 months on the 11th of every month, so as a healthcare worker... I went back for float # 2 the next day (see below) POST FIRST FLOAT I slept amazing after the float. The GI issues that I was challenged with were finally starting to show signs of improvement and I felt less tense. My mood was better- I was less annoyed. SECOND FLOAT 8/11/2022 I chose "the Journey" for my music preferences. This option allows for 40 minutes of music- which played drums and hops allowing you to feel vibrations in the water. I did this with the lights off. The music turns off after 40 minute and the last 5 allow for a musical warning. While in this time I really focused on the music the vibrations of the music. I realized that Albert Einstein was right "EVERYTHING is a vibration." It was this time that I focused on letting go of the attachments I was carrying to other peoples stress playing a role in my life. As I did this it felt like I was floating in space and Elton John's "Rocketman" played in my head. POST SECOND FLOAT: I woke up the next day feeling A-MAZ-ING! My sleep was like a dream come true. I felt euphoric. Things that normally bothered me at work seemed to not bother me- other peoples problems were not mine to attach too and I was highly aware of that. It was like I had done psychedelics- but in fact had not. It is now 8/15 and I still feel the benefits. I recommend the float to anyone and everyone. I know without a shadow of doubt that I will be implementing a float at least month just for the reset and attunement of my own grounding. Thank you Aleeza- I feel like my 'lazy' third eye has been awakened to my own self-actualization.

Experience ego death in a dark, warm bath tub while naked. 10/10 would do again! I will definitely go back.

This place is interesting, and looks nice and relaxing, but it just too many issues for me to return, I always like to try new places, experience the atmosphere, and hope for just a well relaxing time. I wish i got a Picture of the outside wall, art work, its actually pretty cool and vibrant. OH kay, lol... this were it starts to snow ball and go down hill , gaining mass and speed.. first off the staff were super friendly but we waited about 10 mins at the front counter before someone came to the front. We waited for our spas, enjoyed some def caf tea, as we sat in the waiting area / lounge. Across from us was a small Sauna, I am guessing 2 people could fit in ther would be very close to the other person I would think, so you better be friendly with them ;-) ;-) Needless to say, did not go in there. lol The Lounge area was somewhat split up, with some couches in the main area, which a couple was over there just laying spread out, so did not want to sit to close to someone else and ruin there experience. Ok, so finally get in to the spa room, its kinda cool , the shower is at the entrance of the spa, there is a bench to sit and take shoes off or what not. Basically you strip down, (Yehaa). Dont get any ideas here, this is a solo spa, not sure if they have couple's or not.. but this was a Solo experience. Take a shower, open the door, and carefuly get into the spa. I found the floor to be super slippery. And someone like me, i have poor balancing due to a brain surgery years ago... But ya, the floor was super slick, no grip on the ground, just tile like. There was a mat, but it was a joke, really thin, and did not grip let alone didnt help. so lets get into the spa, aaawww! Well thats what i was hoping for, my ass hit the bottom of the spa, Now Ive been to 3 different spas, and all of them were deeper then this one. That and there is soooo much salt in there you'll float. Salt was there but stuck to the bottom , with my bottom... lol.. It ruined the experience for us, I wasnt the only one complaining about this. But needless to say our experience wasn't that relaxing, and fear for my life walking around on the slik was a thing... :-(

You used to get a nice foot bath while waiting in the waiting room. After COVID occurred, they got rid of the foot bath which was fine since I still love the atmosphere and I always get the full 90 minutes massage even with the massage therapist running late. Recently they have an online booking system which makes it really convenient. However the price has gone up for their services. My last massage at this spa turned into a deal breaker. I always booked a 90 minutes massage and this last one I only received 75 minutes of massage time. While massage therapist Breana was great during the massage. She was late for 10 minutes and by the time I changed and liked on the table, I probably only got 75 minutes or less of the 90 minutes I booked. After the massage, I was checking out at the front desk, the we're loud conversations from the break room on the side with massage therapist saying loudly "dang, bla...bla...bla", which was totally off putting and some of the massage therapist were a bit rough around the edges. I can put up with all the things they did such as raising g prices, skipping the foot bath, loud and inappropriate conversations from the break room. The major deal breaker for me is the therapist showing up to my appointment late and gave me less than 75 minutes of the 90 minutes massage I booked. Therefore I will try out other places and probably won't be coming back as a regular customer.

You swap your shoes for fresh sandals and at the first appointment you come about 30 min early to watch a video on the tips that help you properly prep in the shower, coat a little petroleum jelly to protect dry skin or scratches from the salt in the float tub, and how to use the ear plugs. I've been to another float center in Redwood with a friend, so it was nice to find one close to home. I put a cloth in the lid to keep it open a crack and to help mark my orientation if I get up and want to readjust. I find that I prefer wave sounds and my husband likes music. I like to start with lights, then lights off for a minute, then I eventually mentally "drop down" into peace and darkness for like a half hour or so. Sometimes faster or slower. Really it's great for any body soreness and mental fatigue. I usually notice a 2-for-1 special and buy that and do a float "date" with my husband. So we usually get a sitter, catch a bite, connect and float. My hubby found out he had a lot of scratches on the last one... so they told him to reschedule no cost when he felt better. How considerate! I have been here 4 times now, but that felt so considerate that I trust them and really look forward to going back. I really like how close they are to a few spots I need things from as well. Since I'm out of town, we stop by the stores or eateries and cafes nearby to make it a treat.

I truly love the concept, even though for me the experience felt a bit overstimulating and physically stretching at times. Where I found myself disappointed was more with the level of customer care than the service itself, especially knowing this was my first visit. After my float, I enjoyed the oxygen bar and mentioned interest in learning more about another service option. During my oxygen session, the receptionist kindly offered to bring me tea, but it never arrived. By the end of the session, I noticed staff members chatting at the front while I was left feeling a little unsure about next steps. The staff were not rude at all, they were polite, but I did leave feeling like a bit more attentiveness and, guidance could have made a meaningful difference, especially for a first-time guest. The facilities themselves were generally clean and the overall concept has a lot of potential. With a little more intentional customer care and follow-through, I think this could become a much stronger experience.
