I had to replace my old water heater and the new one was wired in to an old (25+ y.o.) Little Gray Box water heater timer. I knew the water heater timer was failing (clock had stopped working) and had purchased a new one to be installed after the new water heater was in place. Sure enough, the circuit breaker tripped about 20 minutes after I turned on the Little Gray Box. I called the electrician I usually use but had no response to the message I left on his phone. So, I wrote a request for quote and sent it out. Within 5 minutes of the Yelp notification that the request had been sent, I got a reply from Peter. I called him and described the situation. He advised me to leave everything alone and came the next morning. It took him a few minutes to determine that, it was the old water heater timer which had failed. He removed it and then put in the new water heater timer. He reset the circuit breaker and said everything was fine. Although he set the timer to the times I want the heater to turn on/off, that evening, the timer didn't turn off at the scheduled time. I texted Peter and he said he could come out if need be. I decided to check the box the next morning and saw that the clock time was 2 a.m. so I set the clock to the correct time. The water heater timer has been working as it should and I let Peter know. read more

I recently bought a condo that had no light fixtures in the ceiling (built in the 70s go figure) and they were quick to respond, reasonably priced and very nice and professional.
