My main concern was to even out my skin tone from acne scars and clean out my pores, so we ended up going with the Microdermabrasion facial. I will admit that even after the consultation I was still nervous. I knew that there would be buffing involved and was very scared that it would hurt and my skin would look raw! But boy was I wrong. Not only are her facials all natural and extremely relaxing, but I always leave glowing and my skin healing a bit more. Of course, Negin is on the SPECTACULAR end. Her space is small, modest, quiet, tranquil. If you want lots of bells and whistles and a fancy location, this isn't it. But if you want to be treated to a lovely experience amidst Negin's calming, soothing energy and a facial that is both thorough and tailored to your skin's needs, Negin will not disappoint. She greeted me with her gorgeous, bright smile and welcoming energy. And while I'm always a bit wary of getting facials (super sensitive skin means bad experiences are likely), Negin set my mind at ease. She took her time. Everything she uses is gentle and free of chemicals, and smells divine. I purchased two masks in addition to my facial, which Negin packaged up beautifully for the ride home, and the total, while not insignificant for those of us on a budget, cost roughly the same as what I spent for my last facial alone (without products). My last facial, at a deluxe spa in Soho, was lovely, but I was interested in trying out Negin's services because I had a feeling that, due to the more intimate nature of her space and her reputation for taking a personal approach to each client, that she wouldn't up-sell me on a more expensive treatment nor products, and indeed, she did not.
