I've been going here for over a year. After the lockdown, I needed to find a new place anyways. Due to the fact that I moved. I am so glad that I started going to this place. I used to walk into nail salons so uncomfortable but this place made me more than comfortable and I even bring my mom with me. They have great vibes! We both love it. You get what you pay for and you should tip them well. They do an amazing job and they give a great foot massages Most of the time I go in there clueless of what I want and what they have on display isn't what I want. So I go on Pinterest and they actually create what I want and you can help them evolve just as a customer to make them even greater. But I don't know if that's possible nowadays nails are expensive so I think that these are reasonably priced for the great work that they do! And all of them are lovely people! When I have a bad day I get my nails done here and I walk out smiling each time. But I will say that I usually am in there for four hours and they take a long time but that's because they take their time and they don't rush to make sure that you like what you get. I will never come back here again. I got a regular manicure and pedicure here last week and 2 days later I noticed my cuticle started to puncture - clearly from dirty and non-disinfected nail tools. I ended up going to an urgent care after it got as bad as you see in the photo and they had to numb my finger, cut it open (i then passed out) and now have a huge scab that will last for days. My sister has also gotten a cuticle infection from here as well. Stay away. read more

I came here in a pinch because my nail salon I normally go to had too long a wait. I got the gel mani and came in with unpolished nails. They use the dremel tool for everything. Filing, cuticles, all of it. It was so painful. The girl kept hitting my flesh by my cuticle. She made 2 fingers bleed. She also make my nail so thin getting out the natural ridges they were sensitive and painful. She kept missing when she'd use the file and drag it along the top of my nail that under my nail was so sore as she would file I would tell her how much it hurt and she would laugh. When she was doing my nails so thick, I almost started to cry because I could tell them were looking so thick and awful. She asked what was wrong and I said they look so thick and I don't have time to get them fixed, I have a party tonight. She asked me if this was my first sns because this is how they come out. I told her no, I get it all the time elsewhere and they never looked this bad. When I left, I was ready to cry still. They looked awful and my finger tips were all sore and sensitive. This place is right down the road from my sister's house, and even though I live nowhere near her, I would make the trip here again and again! We had made a mani pedi appointments for 3 at Salon 25, which just opened (and is AWFUL, PLEASE NO ONE GO THERE, they RE-Define the word UNPROFESSIONAL) needless to say, we had walked right on out of there, and into blooming nails, which is HUGE, calming, and the staff is so pleasant. we had a short wait time on the comfy couches, and were treated to an almost hour-long pedicure each- I fully recommend the Jelli Pedicure, its a powder that turns to this delicious foamy gel and it just makes your feet and legs feel like heaven. they also add a 10 minute leg/foot massage, its well worth it. We also had pedicures done-the salon is clean, well kept, and all of the technicians are super friendly. I will absolutely be returning here. read more

Okay so I HAD a review up from a while back about this trash can of a nail salon, however it conveniently got deleted. I'm going to try and make this as short and to the point as possible. About 2 years ago I went to this nail salon as per a recommendation by my insurance broker whom I have a close relationship with, so I trusted her. I went to get acrylics and Sam ( not sure if he's still there ) he did my nails aggressively and carelessly, so he ended up cutting my cuticle and made me bleed. I asked him to be more careful, he agreed but did not try and be any gentler. Anyway, fast forward a week later, I was on vacation in Florida and I noticed the nail that he cut was kind of "crumbling" off which I felt was odd but I continued to enjoy my vacation. A few days later it happened with another one, then another and so on. Once I took them off I uncovered a fungus that was eating away at my nails. I lost 7 all together ( my real ones ) and am still struggling with it UNTIL THIS DAY! I'm warning you that this place does not give a shit about your well-being and just wants to suck you dry or whatever money they can get from you. Be careful, it sucks dealing with this!!! read more

I took my mother here for her birthday today. The prices are expensive. The girl that took me spoke very little English making it hard to communicate simple things. She was very nice and my nails came out good. So I give them points on that. We got there at 5:30 and they close at 7:30. They took a while on my mom and it was 7:30 when they were finished and the girl wanted my mother to use the fan at her table for just her finger nails instead of going to the back so she could dry both her finger and toe nails. I felt like we were rushed out. I figured 2 hours for a fill in and pedi would be enough time but it wasnt and they should have known how long it would take and not push my mom to leave before her nails were done. Also they didnt take the tissue off our toes when dry such a small thing could have made the experience a bit better. They seemed to do the minimum and not go above, like there isnt a nail salon on every corner. I wont be going back there. Location is clean. Not the nicest strip mall but the nail salon itself is nice. I love that they have a small pedicure chair for my 3 year old. They also offer an extensive choice of gel colors including the temperature color changing gel! They also provide a parafin treatment for your heels with the regular pedicure! This is a very clean, well run, and affordable nail salon. I was very pleasantly surprised at the extra perks a regular pedicure came with at this establishment. That being a pretty decent foot massage and a keratin heel wrap treatment. I was particularly pleased the last time I visited and received a french manicure. My technician, Sam, was very precise with clipping, filing, and then painting. I was getting a flower design, and from past salon experiences, I was thinking it would be a simple little daisy in the middle of each ring finger...no, it was two beautiful cherry blossom branches in black and white accented with silver glitter in the center of each flower. We continued going bc we liked a few of the girls.. but being forgotten constantly with alcohol soaking your fingers lost the loyalty. It was my first time going today and even though I'm happy with the work they did, they didn't give me the color I chose. I chose a purple nude and I have a pink on my nails. I asked when they brought the color out and the girl said it'll look different once it's finished. It doesn't. There is absolutely no purple in my nails it's all pink. The lady left the water running and the tub overflowed and soaked my daughters sneakers smh. It was the middle of winter, freezing outside. When it was time to pay and I asked to get a discount since it was an inconvenience for my daughters sneakers getting soaked. Oh, did that set these MONEY HUNGRY people off. After I continue to explain to the owners wife how soaked my daughters sneakers were she gave me flip flops for free for my daughter since it was freezing outside. This is the worst place I have ever been to and these are the most money hungry people I have ever met. They didn't even do a good job. Spent over 200 dollars. Then the manager who must have short term memory loss yelled at me to pay them four different times AFTER I had paid them. When we went to tip the nail people each 15 dollars, the manager who didn't do any nails yelled at my sister to give him ten dollars and ripped it out of her hands! Just had a Smashed Crystal pedicure and it was very nice. My feet were bad news from the shutdown and other issues so I was so anxious about getting a pedi. This was the first time I was to Blooming Nails and I was very happy. I was greeted and escorted to the pedicure room. The technician was very conscientious and quietly gave me a lovely pedicure that included a leg and foot massage .. ahhh. The place is spotless as well. These people say that you can come in at a certain time and they aren't busy and then you get there and you're are waiting more than an hour past you appointment time. They charge for everything $5 more for "shaping" your nails if it's almond or coffin when your nail is already shaped that way. Then they charge $3 more for Opi nail polish. It is truly sickening to see how money hungry these people are. They don't even do a good job. The service is horrible they ignore you and pretend that you weren't sitting for an hour waiting for a pedicure. If I could give this place a HUGE ZERO ( 0 ) I would!! OK, with me being a licensed nail technician myself, I will admit I am picky, but I walked in at 11:30 am for just a pedicure... I asked for the $40 spa pedi... Unfortunately, I don't know the lady's name, but she was older with glasses... I asked for my toe nails to be cut down a little, I specifically said not too short please! Well, she cut them so short that the tissue underneath my nail plate was showing! Not to mention she cut me two times! At this point, I was so upset I just wanted to get them polished & leave! Well, after she polished them, I went to sit under the dryer & I see my polish starting to separate... I noticed there was oil all over them... she used an oil base to put over my nails instead of clear nail Polish... OMG... I was so pissed!! I wanted them redone! So, they were pissed that they had to polish them again, ( which I didn't care) they had another young girl do it... She started to polish & I see her going back for a third time... I asked her, " why are you doing 3 Coats of polish"? She said cause it looks better, but at the same time I use this polish all the time & you don't need 3 coats! 3 coats just makes it very thick & it folds at the sides! Well, she did it & guess what happened next? Yup, it all folded at the sides! The color was all over my toes... what a mess! I was fuming!! Now for a 3rd time I needed my toes polished! So, I walked in at 11:30 & its now 2:30... when it was all done the owner Jackie charged me full price... I said to her, are you kidding me? I've been here for 3 hours, my toe nails were cut so short that the tissue underneath is showing, she cut me 2xs & I was polished 3 xs & you want me to pay full price?? I told her I would pay half & she said no... Ok, Np I didn't want to cause a huge scene so I paid & said I will NEVER come back again! After a great first experience there, getting a very reasonably priced pedicure and acrylic wraps on my nails (I can't do the gel manicures), I went back for a fill in. I got the gentleman that works there, and he started working on my nails. When filing down the original acrylic to apply the fill in, he bored a hole into my natural nail. I got my nails done here 4 days ago, and paid $30 for a gel manicure and gave the girl a $10 cash tip even though she made fun of my hands. "Wow you have such big hands! They're like a man!" I didn't realize they were supposed to charge me $25. On top of being over charged, my nails started chipping literally immediately and are nearly 1/3 chipped off. I called and spoke to Jackie, she said if I bring my receipt they will redo it for free. I think next time I'll get a more expensive one with a longer massage and hot stones. I will probably only go here for pedicures from now on. My nails came out....fine. They charged me $55 for a full set when the sign said $40. I think she up-charged me on purpose because she cut one nail way shorter than the others and I said something. Then she put an extremely thin layer of acrylic on another nail because she was too busy answering her phone every 5 minutes and not paying attention to what she was doing. So I commented on it and asked her to VERY POLITELY just add a little more. I got an eye roll and scoffed at. So I asked why $55 and she said gel polish is $15 extra. I tried this salon today. I walked in to the salon and saw people waiting, and thought it was odd that they took me to the back for a pedicure before any of the people who were waiting. The gentleman removed the polish from my toes, and asked me to put my feet in the water. Then, I proceeded to watch him do someone else's pedicure, which was fine at first. I sat there for more than 20 minutes. I think they should have told me that it was going to be a while, and they should have made me wait with the others up front instead of making me sit with my feet in the water for so long.
